Not your first date kind of place in terms of environment, but definitely worth it if you both love amazing dumplings for a decent price.
The place:
Look at the yelp picture of the store front. It seems to be part of an Asian market place, so the entrance is not on the corner with the rest of the market, but up a set of stairs. Its about a 3 minute walk from the u-bahn station. The restaurant itself is simple tables and not a high class restaurant, similar to Korean restaurant Bada in Vienna. There was a show like Chinese Idol or China's Got Talent on the TV. Down a point in the ratings for TV in the dining room....
The food:
I don't even like dumplings normally, and I'm still thinking about the two different plates of dumplings we bought here. Totally affordable at under 5 euros if I remember correctly, for a plate full of little dumplings (not plate shoved full of dumplings but a fair amount for the price). Both were great. We also tried three different dishes and they were fine. Another greasy Chinese place (not fried though), noodles, running about 8 Euros for a lot of noodles (definitely your fill). They were fine, if you're into restaurant greasy noodles (as opposed to the ones you buy at the stands when you are starving and then want to hit yourself for eating from later). But the dumplings.... oh the dumplings....
And again, I'm usually not into dumplings.
Bathroom: Can't remember it but I'm sure I tried it. That's a good sign, means it wasn't awful.
Parking: Seems very neighborhoody so you probably can find some (as opposed to downtown).
Overall: 4 stairs because it met expectations (Chinese food, great dumplings), but even if I wasn't expecting so much, I felt they could have added a little something something extra to give the place a nicer touch. read more
