Brown Sugar Pearl Milk
Han J.

This was some tasty boba!! Was walking through Chinatown and decided to stop in for a drink. I enjoyed the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk. The seating area was on the small side, but many people took their drinks to go, so I had no problem finding a seat. Drink came out pretty quick. They have a great rewards program as well!

So happy Yifang opened up a location in montreal! I've had it in different cities, I always thought their fruit teas were the best out of all the bubble tea chains I've tried! I'm not the biggest fan of fruit teas since a lot of places do it too sweet and I can't adjust the sweetness levels and I'm just more of a milk tea gal but Yifang was one of the places that really stood out to me when I first tried it in London! They had a 1$ opening promo going on this weekend (July 10-11) for their classic fruit tea so I went and grabbed a cup. The drink is super refreshing and light and not too sweet! Their prices are a bit higher than other places but I think it's worth it. Will definitely come back and get some of their other flavors, I've yet to try their milk teas!!

This bubble tea place is unique in a way that the owner guarantees that the taste of their drinks is EXACTLY the same as the taste in Taiwan, meaning that quality control is top priority for this global franchise. There are a lot of efforts put into the preparation of each drink, and the choice of ingredients is very meticulous. They have interior seats (rather limited) and exterior seats at a terrace in front of the store (in summer). I tried half of the items on their menu so far, I was rarely disappointed. I think that I can taste the superior quality that go along with the rather high price, I think their drinks are quite remarkable. Highly recommended!

Lovely place and super friendly staff. Impressive selection of bubble teas. Looking forward to trying more flavours. Had the brown sugar milk bubble tea. Outstanding depth of flavour with notes of caramel and molasses and a silky/milky texture. Egg pancakes are warm, moist, and chewy - with an intoxicating aroma. Will return for sure!!!

I had a craving for a smoothie and Chatime had them...many of the other Chinatown cold drink places…read moreonly offered tea variations of their drinks. I wanted sometime with no tea. I saw the menu and it said smoothies...so I went in and asked for one of the ones on the menu. The guy at the counter said that if I did not want milk, they could use oat milk, which was perfect...also at the time of ordering he asked what level sugar I wanted...I said Low...so I went with the 30%. It was nice to be able to customize my smoothie that way. I was very happy and impressed. The strawberry slush was nice, frosty and very cold. It had a nice light strawberry taste and it arrived with a heat seal lid. I would get a smoothie again at this place. I loved the experience.

In the simplest form, this is cheap, reliable, and gets you your bubble tea fix. It's not the best…read morethat I've tried, but it's also not the worst. It's purely that -- ok. Service-wise, it was great. Simple, fast, and ready with a bubble tea in your hand within a minute or two. The store is not a sit-down spot, but more of a small stall where you grab and go. I've been to several Chatime shops in the States, so I have an idea of what to expect and it's pretty much how Chatimes are rated in the States as well. We stopped by while going to nearby Old Montreal and happened to walk into Chinatown. I wanted to see what Chinatown in Montreal was like and truly got an idea for it. It's busy and all the stores are bustling and open crazy late -- just like this spot. This spot is open 24/7, which is unheard of in the other Chinatowns that I've been to in my life. We tried Presotea near our hotel so right away we had an idea of which bubble tea shop was considered higher-end/pricier. This spot was definitely for the cost-saving person who just wants a quick fix of bubble tea. The difference between the two is obvious. I ordered regular milk tea with the QQ topping. I like the QQ topping (which is nata de coco jelly with regular tapioca). It's half lychee jelly and half black pearls. The bubbles did not have the flavor that the Presotea bubbles had. Chatime is simply plain with no taste in their bubbles, which is fine. Tea-wise - I could not immediately tell the difference. However, in the end, each shop is meant for two different people.

Whether or not it's a typical Montreal summer I don't know, but during my visit Montreal was hot…read moreand humid. I was walking everywhere and when I came across Shuyi Tealicious en route to the nearby art museum it appeared like some sort of desert mirage. I've never been so eager for a boba drink as I was at that moment. As a regular reader of yelp reviews I come often upon those for tea/boba shops and it's always a mystery to me how anyone knows what to order. The menus in these type of places are just plain confusing for someone who doesn't regularly consume these drinks. Shuyi's is no exception. But here's a secret: based on my random order one can't go wrong here even if one has no idea what it is they're ordering. Here at Shuyi Tealicious I ordered up something with Strawberry and Boba and drank it while sharing a nearby bench with an amusing bronze sculpture. That drink was so satisfying that it was done before my stomach knew it and I had to fight an urge to head back inside for drink #2. Yes, I was that dehydrated. These drinks are extremely satisfying, especially if you don't want to be overfilled while staring at art for the next few hours. I might not know anything about this type of place but I did like it a lot and it served to satisfy my craving.

Innovative boba shop in Montreal. Unfortunately I've never seen this franchise in the US, but…read moremaybe it's for the better or else I'll be spending too much on boba! I got their new product "happy taro milk tea" which comes pre-assembled with smashed taro chunks, taro balls, oats, and sago. It was very tasty. This boba shop prides themself in making sure they add enough ingredients/toppings in each drink and also give you the option to do less ice. I love that because I hate paying $5-7 for a boba that is mostly milk tea and 1/3 ice cubes.

I am very glad, I did this time. The L2Lounge looks inviting with lots of seating places, looking quite comfortable. The seats are placed so that each group feels like their own private cubicle. Drawing display on the wall is contemporary and jazzy. I like when I see a place that looks to be bright, well maintained and clean. We had just finished our lunch somewhere else and now ordered one "crème molle" of mixed macha and taro as we are fond of both flavours. Instead of expecting the usual insolent remarks of many servers in that neighbourhood, being not entirely happy of ordering just one item, the question from the lady behind the counter was "do you want one spoon or two?" This is what I call customer service at its best. For this treatment alone, I will definitely come again and bring friends. This is going to be my favorite dessert place in this area. The ice-cream was just delicious, creamy and tasting all natural ingredients, with the price being very descent. There are also numerous bubble tea options that look very appetizing and would be on my order at my next visit. This is a dessert gem, worth exploring.

I also appreciate that all of them also have a display so you can easily know how big they are and if they are a figurine or a keychain plush.
