Parking at the hotel is expensive, however there are several nearby decks for $10-15. Venue and Atmosphere Step past the doors and you are transported to an authentic tiki bar, with no details spared: lush florals, intricately carved statues, and a live band greet you with the warmth of an island vacation. Service, Food, and Beverages Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. We were greeted with Aloha and brought promptly to our seats. Our waitress recommended the $10 Mai Thai's, Chai-su pork, and coconut shrimp, all of which did not disappoint. Legend has it that the Mai Thai was created here, and after one sip I believe it! The seasoned bok choy was delicious, light and fresh. I wasn't in the mood for a big meal so this fit the bill. Verdict I'll be back!

It's honestly kind of gloomy and dark in there. But I guess it fits the aesthic! Didn't try the food so I kind speak to it but! That drink was solid!! Having been raised in Hawai'i and living in Waiʻanae for 20 years, Hawaiian food isn't something…read moreI'm unfamiliar with. I've eaten at many L&L Hawaiian Barbecue locations throughout Hawai'i, and I'm even friends with Eddie Flores, one of the founders of L&L. So when I find an L&L on the mainland, I'm always interested to see how it compares to what I remember from back home. I ordered the Loco Moco, and it definitely hit the spot--rice topped with hamburger patties, plenty of brown gravy, and fried eggs. Once those runny yolks mix with the gravy and rice, that's pure local-style comfort food. The macaroni salad was creamy and exactly what you want alongside a plate lunch. I also grabbed a Spam musubi, another simple Hawaii staple that immediately brings back memories--Spam, rice, nori, and that familiar sweet-and-salty combination. I probably judge Hawaiian plate lunches a little differently than someone experiencing them for the first time. This visit gave me some of those familiar flavors I was looking for. Good portions, good food, and a little taste of the islands here on the mainland. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu. Ono Grindz Decor was typically L&L with friendly staff.

This was absolutely a 10/10 experience. I was staying at the Marriott Downtown for a work trip and…read moredesperately needed to catch up with my friend and eat before heading to bed. I wasn't expecting much from this place but it was the perfect gem. I wasn't expecting much able to make a last minute reservation online and we were seated immediately. The waiter was professional and so friendly--he literally knew every little thing about each dish. He provided some great recommendations and we decided to order the lobster crawfish wontons, the crispy beef, the drunken noodle with scallops and lobster tail, and the sticky ribs. I easily could have eaten all the wontons myself and the drunken noodles came large lobster tails and plenty of scallops. I ate these so fast that I forgot to take a picture. The crispy beef was a little bit on the sweeter side but it was the perfect amount of crunch and sauce that paired well with the vegetables and jasmine rice. I also really enjoyed the ribs--they were very tender and flavorful. It came with collard greens which I didn't enjoy as much but the other dishes were so good and I ate so much that I didn't mind. I also saw plenty of couples celebrating milestones together so it definitely makes for a cute night out if you're in the area looking to have a nice dinner with your partner. I hope to be back to Atlanta soon so that I can indulge again.

It was a Friday night, so it was pretty packed when we first got there. We put our names down, and then grabbed a drink at the bar. There was outdoor seating that was available, so we grabbed a seat. We were then notified that our table was ready. It wasn't even 20 minutes, so this was great. The host took us to two seats at the bar. SOS is such a cool island type of vibe. They have so many different tiki cocktails that you can choose from. They are mostly made of rum, but they have a few other ones that are made with different alcohols. Me and my wife both got our own drinks. Hers was a special Valentine's Day themed drink that was on the menu, and mine was one of the tequila/mezcal tiki drinks. Both tasted really good! The presentation was just as good too! You aren't limited to these though, it's a full bar, so you can get whatever you want. They also have a few food options, but very limited. Our bartender, Heather, was super nice as well. My wife had asked (when I went to the restroom) if they did anything for birthdays, since my birthday was a few days prior. She did this cool fire presentation and gave us two little slushie shots. Awesome bartender for sure! SOS is a great place to go for some really fun drinks. It's good for groups, but keep in mind that they do get quite busy on the weekends! I'll definitely be back.
