I texted the number and Mario was able to set me up with an appointment for the upcoming Tuesday of that week. The process was pretty quick. Mario took my measurements, he explained the rental process, let me look at some designs and ultimately gave me freedom on the color I wanted. Price was what I expected between $250 and $300, including the 2 piece blazer and pants, white shirt, matching vest and two ties to choose from. They could have included shoes as well but I had my own pair. I'm not sure if that would have altered the price. It took about 5 days for it to be ready, as I could have picked it up the following Monday but it was a busy day for me. Mario even let me try it on and make alterations before I walked out ensuring that my suit was the perfect fit for my special day. Overall, the customer service was top notch and I felt like I was able to take my time throughout the experience despite all the stress that comes with getting married. It took 3 stylists just to hook the dress together before it could be zipped up. I had not gained any weight since ordering, and the dress felt like it had been ordered a size too small. The stylist who was helping me put on the dress kept reassuring me that the gown had a hard corset, and because it was strapless, it was meant to fit that tightly. Well before my actual wedding, I had my courthouse ceremony... I needed a lot of help to get the dress hooked on, and when it came time to drive to the courthouse, I couldn't even sit up. I had to lean the car seat all the way back in order to make it to the courthouse. The entire afternoon I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to drink water. After that experience, I brought my dress to Marina at Le Caprice. She took one look at my back and didn't even bother zipping me up. She assured me that my dress was too small, that it was not just in my head, and offered to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back! I was nervous because I really loved the top part of my dress and how snatched it made my waist look, but when I received my dress it still looked just as perfect! She didn't push that dress and we did end up trying it on for fun but she was transparent the price couldn't go down so I appreciate that she was honest and not a pushy saleswoman. Turns out the very first dress I tried on this appointment was the dress I ended up picking. She nailed it from the first dress. The dress needed some adjustment as it was completely see through on the waist and she showed us options to line it with a nice fabric so my skin wouldn't be exposed. I felt so comfortable knowing we can fix the dress and adjust how we wanted with very little pushback. She offered her expertise and knowledge on how to fix the dress the best way. My alteration appointment was very straight to the point and the tailor had a lot of experience. Got one set back with stains still on the garment but assumed it might just not be removable. Idk figured it was worth giving the benefit of the doubt since the staff seemed nice and capable. I should've been more diligent in checking the clothes the next time before I left but the recent set of clothes I picked up I inspected when I got home and looked untouched, in their original state and then I noticed the tag reading "needs sewing" was still on my dress strapped and unfixed. It wouldn't be that annoying since it really is my own fault but I gave the woman an extra week to fix it after she told me she was unable to do it in the original allotted time. I really should've checked in store before I left so it's mostly on me and they were a nice enough staff, just be careful before you pay. Either way, I paid full price for all of this and it wasn't cheap so I'm annoyed since I'll have to pay for them again to get done somewhere else properly.
