We tried their tres leches cake at a friend's bday party, it was amazing. So we ordered one for an event we had. The cake was inedible....totally like soup. Not sure why they are so inconsistent . We won't try them again. read more

Recently got my birthday cake done here and it came out delicious! I showed them the photo of the cake I wanted and small details that I wanted changed. The filling of my cake was guava! When the cake was cut it was overflowing with the guava filling coming out and the cake was soft and moist. Every bite was good! The guava filling tasted amazing and will be ordering from here again. I do wish that there were more details on the cake though, but overall great! read more

This bakery has terrible customer service! They have teenagers running the shop on the weekends, with no customer service skills. I placed an order and when i went to drop off the deposit on the weekend they couldn't find my order. At that point I was about to walk out, the owner finally decided to re-take my order and seriously took her time. When I called during the week to follow-up, she told me that she would call me back, and i'm still waiting for her call. They're cakes are not the best, they're too sweet, and the frosting is flaky. I've had better cakes. and their cake designs are less than impressive. I believe that because they're the only Spanish bakery in Lawrence, they don't feel like they have to try as hard to keep their customers because if you want a dominican cake, they're the only option. I really doubt that I would order from this bakery in the future. I know that i'm stressing how unprofessional they are, but it's very frustrating when they don't even apologize for their mistakes. read more

My girlfriend brought some of their cake from a friends kids birthday party. She was dying for me to try it seeing as this was the best cake she's ever had. Being Dominican I've had Dominican cake before. Some have been good others bad but this cake, the best!! I believe it was the crema de leche cake. It was so moist and sweet. When I call to place my order I wasn't given an order number or anything. I pick up the cake and was greeted by a teenager that was more concerned on getting back to his cell, and the cake was awful it was undercooked, for the price I paid for that cake I would expect to have a least enjoy the cake the whole cake was thrown away.. read more

Horrible customer service. Cakes are pretty good if they decide they wanna make em. They got kids running the bakery on weekends with horrible customer service skills. I asked one if they had small tre leche cake and she was very lost didnt understand what i meant. Another time i went i tried ordering a fondant cake for a birthday party for someone in my family 2 weeks in advance and they refused to make it. They avoid making foundant cakes. They are pretty much the only dominican bakery in lawrence so they dont feel like they should please customers. Im surprised this bakery is still open. read more
