Absolutely best hostel. Very diverse people and very friendly staff that is on 24/7. They have a bar and the drinks are pretty good. Overall best traveling experience I've had. Also very clean rooms. They will even serve you breakfast lunch and dinner for a small price

I love this place already, so cute!

Yes! Lisbon Hostel was the best! The staff was amazing- Pedro especially! We only stayed for three nights and somehow the amazing staff remembered everyone's names. It was so personable. They truly made us feel at home. One of the best parts is the family style dinners each night. It's super cheap, (10€) unlimited alcohol and you'll meet so many cool & diverse people. The hostel itself is clean, tiday and modern. The furniture is new and well kept. They made us feel so welcome and it definitely felt like home. Everything was clean and beautifully designed. Again, the staff was more than amazing and got to know us all individually. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else while in Lisbon.

Ten stars for my favorite hostel in Europe. The famous Portuguese hospitality is alive and well here. There are so many good things about this hostel that I'm sure I'm not going to be able mention them all: -amazing hospitality: the nightly dinners at 9 are an amazing way to connect with others - the best beds ever: they are just as comfy as 5 star hotels I've stayed in - bathrooms with rain showers which I love - the hostel offers a bunch of interesting activities like day tours to nearby towns, highly recommended! Basically I love everything about this place, and I'm so glad I didn't decide to spend my nights elsewhere to save a few euro. I am notoriously hard to please, I was so lucky to stumble upon this place.

I've done the shared room arrangement a few times, but having my own room is more my speed. Staying in a hostel was a no brainer for me when I visited Lisbon two years ago. The Living Lounge is a beautiful hostel with colorful and thoughtful artwork adorning the walls of the common areas and individual rooms. Each room has a unique theme that was carefully curated by a local artist. I stayed in the clock-themed Timeless room. This room was right next to the staircase, so I could hear the sound of footsteps up and down the stairs during my stay. Bathrooms were clean and conveniently located on either side of the floor. This three-level walkup is a short distance from the Baixa-Chiado metro station, trams, and other attractions. The staff members were welcoming and accommodating. They even sent me a Lisbon guide prior to my stay that offered helpful resources and tips for navigating the city and making the most of my trip. The hostel's common area features a living room, kitchen, and bar. You can sign up at the reception desk for daily events such as the popular nightly dinners, walking tours or fado performances. I attended one of the nightly dinners during my stay. It featured a delicious and filling meal prepared by a chef and generous pours of wine for only ten euro. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming hostel and I can't wait to visit Lisbon again!

Beds are nice and you feel like you could be in a hotel. The bathrooms are on each side of each floor. Towels provided. Very nice!! The breakfast is delicious! Something hot- sometimes eggs. Sometimes crepes. Variety of juices. Variety of jams. The front desk is manned by very knowledgeable people. Very helpful. Don't forget the free maps of the area! Also they have info on tours-- so worth it. Location is good. Next to a metro stop and walking distance from the main streets and buses. Great place to stay on a budget!!

The room also had doors which led to the small balconies you at the top floor of buildings. Fantastic view of the water and street below. There was also a communal bathroom/shower on our floor, as well as a seating area, kitchen sink, mini fridge, and cabinet (with cups, plates, etc.). The main floor contained a kitchen available to all. Breakfast was included, but located at their sister hostel. It was a ~5 min walk away - ring the hostel bell and they'll let you in. Breakfast consisted on bread, and various toppings such as cheese, nutella, and various jams (berry cherry, etc.). The lady present was also slanging fresh crepes from the stove. Laundry was 15€ - drop off in the morning, and it'll be ready by the afternoon. We came back past the desk clerk was gone, but she left our items nicely folded and ready in our room. Walking distance to the water, train station, trolley, etc. and all the cobblestone portions of Lisbon. Don't forget to stop by the "downtown" version of Lisbon as well.

Unfortunately, it wasn't as comfortable. While the rooms were clean and there was a good view - beware there are multiple floors with no elevator. Every time we came back it was a workout to enter our room. If you have a check in or roller bag, skip out on this spot. Additionally, I wasn't a huge fan of the tours they offered. They did have a tour booking for Sintra but it was ofc a tourist trap scam. Wasn't worth it because we were forced to pay for lunch and the tour was simply a driver who waited in the car while we roamed around with other guests during our stay. The staff at this place were all sweet except for one man whose name started with a "J" he was honestly quite annoying. He asked personal and invasive questions that made it difficult to enjoy our stay. My friend and I tried to avoid him at all costs. He was like a roach.

There are also like a million floors with no elevator. The recommendations they gave were very touristic which is to be expected I suppose but also didn't seem that welcoming. Beds were nice and WiFi was effective, although the door to the balcony was cracked open and wouldn't shut which let in a tremendous amount of noise. On my last night someone showed up having just been attacked in the street and nobody was helping him so I spent the night before my flight bandaging up another hostel guest. Staff was remarkably uncaring. Would not stay here again under any circumstances

Two people can easily take luxurious showers but don't over do it. * All entries are coded so no keys to lose. *. You will get 2-3 reminders prior to check in with details and the codes.
