But this review isn't about the people. It's about the company itself. A few months ago, I hired Groundworks for foundation repair. The total cost? $20,000. A serious investment, but one I believed was necessary. Before the work began, I had Air & Drain Works perform a hydrostatic test to check for plumbing leaks. The results came back clean -- no issues. After Groundworks completed the foundation lift, Air & Drain Works returned for a post-test. That's when the trouble started. The lifting process had caused a leak. A costly one. The repair estimate? Over $10,000. I reached out to Groundworks multiple times, hoping for some accountability or at least a conversation. Nothing. No returned calls. No follow-up. It's amazing how responsive they are when they're trying to win your business -- and how silent they become when you need help after the fact. So here's my advice: if you're considering foundation work, look elsewhere.
