Thanks to Bree for being so helpful! We were so excited to try this yelp perk! I've been wanting to try StormBurger since the grand opening, but the lines have been gnarly! We were able to get any combo! Woot shoutout to StormBurger! Thank you for hooking us up! I got a Bbq bacon burger combo with fries and a strawberry milkshake. This is a drive thru location only, which I wished there was an area to sit down and enjoy the meal there.

Came here for the yelp event and was treated to a strawberry shake, the jalapeño lightning burger, and onion rings. The onion rings were good and got devoured before I took a photo. Shake was VERY THICK so sucking was hard until it melted really good though. A low cost and delicious new addition to this side of town

I came into this not expecting too much but boy was I surprised! The cheeseburger tasted really good, it had a lot of flavor compared to a generic cheeseburger like McDonald's. The cheeseburger's onion comes in raw so you do have to let them know you'd like them grilled instead if that's your preferred like me. The fries were a tad bit too crispy for me. Service was welcoming and energetic. Any questions were answered with a friendly vibe. There were connect 4 game outside and a small drive-thru. They have unique sauces I wanted to try but I honestly didn't want to pay $1 each just to try them. I felt pretty neutral about their prices but the food came out delicious. I might not come back only because of the location. The parking for this place was an annoying experience for me; getting in wasn't too bad but getting out was too chaotic for my liking!

Have been wanting to try this place out since Joshua Weissman covered this place in a Youtube video way back when and it gave it a really high review! I didn't want to drive all the way to their Culver City location because nothing ever really brings me to that area and it's a bit of a tall ask for me just for a meal. So I was super stoked when I found out Long Beach was getting one! The only downside is that I'd been consistently hearing of long lines so I'd been putting off the wait until crowds died down. And I was super happy and pleasantly surprised to see this place as a Yelp Elite Experience! I went during a Sunday afternoon, and the drive-thru was pretty packed while there was no wait at the window. Still took like 15 minutes or so to get ours orders. I got the classic cheeseburger combo while my husband got the bbq bacon combo. I actually kind of like the cheeseburger more than like an In N Out burger, something about the meat is tastier to me. I do feel like it could use more seasoning though? Maybe just a bit more salt? As it erred on the blandish side. Fries were crispy and tasty!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the cheeseburger & fries ... even while eating it out in the extreme heat! Thanks to the Yelp Team and StormBurger for inviting Elites to come experience the Classic StormBurger, Fries, and a drink! The burger is "messy", but worth trying to avoid the drippings! The fries were seasoned nicely & were crispy. Hubby & I shared this meal and we both really enjoyed it! There is a drive-thru, so you can stay in the comfort of your vehicle. Or, if you want, you can go to the walk-up window and place your order. We walked up, gave my name to the cashier, ordered, and picked up the order. The only downside to this place is that there is no indoor seating. They have two counters, one to stand at and one that is wheelchair height. We opted to eat using the back of our vehicle as our table. It was brutally hot, but we thought it was our best option. Thank you to all involved in bringing us out to try this tasty meal!

Just 6 Minutes Drive -- Amazing! However, here are a few pros and cons to consider! The Cons: There is no indoor seating, and everything is to-go. The drive-thru line extends out onto the street, which can be dangerous. A car almost hit me while I was there! I spent about 14 minutes in the drive-thru, with seven cars ahead of me and eight behind me. Hopefully, in the future, they can add some outdoor seating with concrete tables and chairs, similar to In-N-Out. It would be nice to have the option to sit down and enjoy your food instead of having to take everything to go. The Pros: They have a young lady named Monique who walks through the drive-thru line taking orders to help speed things up. She was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming! Considering it was 98°F on a Saturday evening at 8:15 p.m., she maintained such a positive attitude. That deserves recognition! As a Yelper, I received the Yelp Special, and I truly appreciate it! The special allows you to choose any combo. I ordered the turkey combo with lemonade and fries, no tomato. Everything was much appreciated! A BIG YELP SHOUT-OUT TO EVAN! Evan, thank you for ALWAYS coming through with the RSVP YESIIIIEE! You already know how to take care of us Elite Yelpies! We appreciate you making these experiences happen and looking out for our Yelp community. You deserve a shout-out for consistently coming through! I'll add more photos and give the food review brb And, of course, a special shout-out to Monique for being so sweet and helpful, especially in that heat! I hope management recognizes her hard work. Overall, the customer service and Yelp love made this visit memorable. With a few improvements to drive-thru safety and seating options, this spot could be even better. Keep up the good work, and thank you for showing love to your Yelpies! Music ,4/5 Lemon ade 4.5/5 My Turkey Burger 4/5 Fries well they were crunchy almost like The fries from Burger King..similar crunchy and Tase 3/5

Oh, man, this was my introduction to Storm Burger, and now I'm the one hyping this place up to all my friends and coworkers! I've certainly driven by a few Storm Burgers in the past, but I've never dropped in. Now, it's almost certainly a stop by for a quick bite on my way to Sender One Lakewood! The young lady who took my order in the drive-thru was fantastic! She walked me through all of the fan favourites, giving me recommendations that weren't daunting to choose among. It did help that some of her suggestions aligned perfectly with menu items that already sparked my interest. What lovely service! The food did take some time, which made perfect sense as everything tasted freshly made! My sandwich was a solid choice, and I got to share my onion rings with my coworkers, and they freakin' loved them! Everything about Storm Burger's packaging shows quality is essential. The cups are nice, thick plastic, typically seen with boba drinks. The paper bag is sturdy, and the napkins are robust. Storm Burger is legit, and I'm excited to return!

Thank you Stormburger and Yelp for this event. I got to the event on Saturday afternoon. It was super hot but the staff was out taking orders in person next to the line of cars in the drive though. When it was my turn, I told them I was here for the Yelp event. The staff showed me the sign to scan and check in, took my drink order and I sent me on my way. After about 10 min in line, I got my food and headed home. The burger was delicious with a very buttery bun. I also enjoyed the crunchy fries which had a crust like seasoned fries. Great burger and a quick wait. Couldn't ask for more from a drive thru. I would be happy to come again.

5 stars My first Yelp Experience since moving to Long Beach and I am grateful for the experience! Thank you CM Evan and Stormburger for doing this. I truly appreciated the dinner I got! I got the Bacon BBQ Burger combo and thought it was satisfying. The burger buns were soft and well-buttered. The patty, bacon, and shoestring onion rings within were generous. The fries were soft, just the way I like my fries. The whole meal was incredibly filling. I ordered an additional fried chicken sandwich (at extra cost) just to try it and thought it tasted alright. The pickles made the bun a little too soggy for my liking. Overall, still delicious. So, the only thing this location is missing is parking and dining space. There really wasn't any parking available nor did I see any seats/tables available for people who want to eat there. SO, I took it home...the burger and fries survived my 20 minute drive, but the chicken sandwich did get soggy. I highly recommend the bbq burger I got...it was quite tasty!

Two-lane drive-through here at StormBurger on the corner of Cherry and South Street in Long Beach

Stormburger was certainly an experience. They have a two lane drive-through which makes orders pretty quick. I probably spent about 10 to 15 minutes in line, including waiting for my order to be prepared, on a Sunday. It was pretty packed. There were probably 10 cars in line when I got there. As a yelp elite, I was treated to a classic cheeseburger, choice of fries or onion rings, and a drink. I chose strawberry lemonade and I had to have the classic crispy fries. Cheeseburger included special sauce, lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickle on a brioche bun. The patties were cooked to medium well with a little bit of crispiness around the edges very juicy and flavorful. veggies were crisp, and the bun was warmed and soft 8/10 I chose french fries Storm burger's fries have a crispy coating on the outside. The fact that we waited in line so long I felt like my fries should have been hotter and fresher, but they were pretty good. 6/10 I chose strawberry lemonade for the drink, tasted very fresh and homemade 10/10 I'd go back and try the onion rings and get the strawberry lemonade again. Thank you, StormBurger, and thank you Evan for a yummy meal on a hot Sunday.

Wait a minute... This burger joint really exceeded my expectations! My partner and I decided to order at the window and eat at the stand up tables to eat our fries at peak freshness. I was told that I could only order the Classic Cheeseburger combo, but after reading some of the other reviews, it seems that all combos were offered to others? I guess it depends on who takes your order? Anyway... The classic cheeseburger combo included a single patty cheeseburger with all the fixings (lettuce, onion, tomato, sauce), INCREDIBLE fries, and a soft drink. I feel like the ratio of meat to burger bun was a little off... it needs a second patty. Next time, I would order a double patty instead. But the combo itself was great! The burger was juicy, nicely seasoned and topped with a yummy sauce. The fries were soooo good.. like battered or double fried or something? It was perfectly soft yet crispy and went well with a side of their avocado crema. They also carry my favorite soda-- Coke Zero. Absolutely loved this event! Will definitely be back to support this business again and try other burgers. &Maybe order a double portion of their fries because WOW they were good! Thank you Yelp :)

Double Classic + Fries
Lauren C.

Thank you Evan, StormBurger - Long Beach, and Yelp. The guy taking my order was really nice. Everything went smoothly. I got the Double Classic with fries. I opted not to get a drink because I don't really drink soda and I didn't want to waste it. They have other options but I had my own water and I was good with that. I could just tell the fries were going to be yummy ... and they were. They're on the salty side for me, but I love the texture of them. The drive thru had four cars or so ahead of me but I think it went by quickly; less than 10 minutes. The girl at the pick up window was super friendly and nice. I love when an establishment has great staff!!!

Drive through line
Angela L.

Came on the last day for the Sunday lunch hour, and the place was busy! There's very limited parking spots and they weren't offering dine in, but the drive through line was easy to access. Shout out to the employees that were taking orders in line out in the 100 degree weather to move things along. The classic cheeseburger combo comes with fries and a drink - they had frozen lemonade options, although I was craving just a diet Coke with this heat. In terms of food, was a very solid smashburger, appreciated that it was wrapped in sturdy foil to minimize the mess, and had fresh ingredients including crisp lettuce and juicy tomato slices. A solid meal and all of it without having to leave the comfort of my car!

The spread: Double Classic, Bacon BBQ, Chicken Sandwich, fries & onion rings, soft drink and chocolate milkshake!

Review #893 2025-065…read moreYEE #136 Comped Dulce Pan Order: Alemana Dulce Pan Order: Brazo Gitano, Guisano, Oreja, Quesadilla Yelp is celebrating Latinx Heritage Month with La Usuluteca, an authentic Central American deli, & lucky Elites like myself get to enjoy 1 complimentary pan dulce of our choosing. The bakery is located near Arlington Heights, off Washington Blvd. & 10th Ave.; you can't miss the bright red name banner & awning. Upon entering, your senses are hit with baking & cooking scents: pan dulces & pupusas? After selecting my Yelp freebie: Alemana (vanilla muffin pound cake), I asked what's their best seller & got the Quesadilla. It's a sweet, dense cheese bread with a texture that mimics a pound cake. It was really tasty if a tad on the dry side. My son picked the Oreja, literally translates as "ear" because it looks like one. This puff pastry is also called a palmier. It's sweet, light, crisp, & flaky. M says they're way better than Costco's. I also added a Brazo Gitano (strawberry & coconut Swiss/jelly roll), & Guisano (pineapple-filled roll). Although I might have mixed up Alemana & Guisano. I figured this is a mom & pop, so a menu is not probable, & requested the server's help; she was kind enough to take the extra time to provide the names of dulce pans. There's no dulce pan menu, but there is an electronic hot foods menu behind the counter. Not sure of price points, but I got 4 items, excluding my Yelp freebie, for $11.00+. There's a 50¢ surcharge with a cc payment. It would be nice to have placards labeling & pricing the items (sometimes pricing dictates my choices & the quantity). Friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful customer service... my server took extra time to provide the names of the dulce pans & describe what's in them. While I'm not likely in this part of town, I'm definitely a fan of this Central American bakery & will stop by if I'm in this neighborhood. Muchas gracias Yelp, CM Margaret, & La Usuluteca team for my weekend's sweet treats... mi dulce son muy deliciosos!!

We did a cute BINGO ice breaker with a sunset cocktail tasting at Treehouse. It was a lot of fun meeting everyone and watching the sunset together. The two drinks we had I enjoyed. We were all given a lavender martini which was oh so good. On the menu included their delicious parker house bread with delicious flavored butter, a salad, assorted sushi, tomahawk steak, fish, grilled chicken, squash, and dessert. My favorite had to be all the delicious sushi and steak. Everything was cooked perfectly. Oh and the desserts were all amazing. I loved the coffee basque cheesecake. We all left full and satisfied. What a great spot featuring stunning views and a uniquely decorated round bar as the centerpiece. The event was timed perfectly for us to all get checked in and enjoy the sunset, with Catalina in the background as clear as day. I was able to experience Yelp Bingo for the first time which was a great way for everybody to meet each other. Complementary mini-cocktails were served, with mocktail versions also available by request. I enjoyed the each of the cocktails before seeing the menu first. It was a pleasant surprise at how good they were with no expectations up front. Pink Flamingo (Del Maguey Vida Puebla Mezcal, Lime, Thai chili-Infused aperol, Palo Cortado, Watermelon, egg whites). This was absolutely delicious. I wasn't expecting mezcal at all, and the smokiness was at the perfect level. It had great complexity from all the other flavors that all went together so well. HB Christmas (Ford's Slow Gin, apricot liqueur, lime juice, grenadine, egg whites). This one was also very good, with a sweeter profile and well balanced. Both drinks had a foam top which always wins bonus points in my book. As the sun set, we enjoyed conversation from the comfort of couches in front of a nice warm fire pit which was perfect on a chilly evening. After an hour or so, we headed downstairs to Lorea for a family-style dinner. The restaurant is an open-air space, but long rectangular heaters above run the length of the tables, keeping it nice and warm. There was great live music playing around the corner making the environment even more enjoyable. A parade of appetizers came out shortly after we were seated. The Parker House rolls looked like cinnamon rolls, and were so soft and fluffy. The layers made them even more enjoyable to eat than standard rolls. The sushi platter was visually impressive and colorful. An interesting protein combination was waygu beef and crab, along with salmon and tuna, all served on a bite of crispy rice. I had the waygu and tuna which were very good. The Harvest Apple Salad was light and refreshing. Dinner was served with their signature Laurel cocktail (Lavender-infused Absolut Vodka, orgeat, lemon, carmelized pineapple). It was light and balanced with a little sweetness. Next came the parade of entrees. My favorite was the 32oz Tomahawk steak which was pre-sliced and cooked perfectly medium-rare. It was so tender and flavorful. My favorite sauces were the chimichurri and the peppercorn which was rich. The whipped potatoes were so creamy, it was almost like eating pudding. It was also served with popovers and asparagus. The whole fried fish was moist, flakey, and flavorful. I really enjoyed the mango salad on the side which was crisp and fresh. The grilled chicken was moist and the dish had a lot of different flavors on the plate, but the first two entrees were my favorites. The side dish of roasted acorn squash really surprised me. The slices were buttery but it was brown butter which added a great richness and flavor I wasn't expecting. And the pomegranate seeds added some tartness to round out one of the best veggie side dishes I've had in a long time. I was happy to clean up both plates on our table. You can't have three appetizers and three entrees without having three desserts! I love carrot cake and my eyes lit up when they came out with a plate of whoopee pie looking mini cakes and they were delicious. Another plate had two good sized espresso mini Basque cheesecakes. I'm not a big coffee fan but the flavor was light and I enjoyed several bites. The star of the show was the Apple Alchemy dessert. It is a very colorful plate, and then the bed of dry ice below is activated for a great smoke show. The different versions of apple flavor were great, and it was surprisingly light. If this all wasn't enough, they also served us an after dinner digestif cocktail. The Velour Royal (Hine VSOP, Bailey's salted caramel Irish whiskey) is a little on the strong side with Cognac, but the salted caramel Irish whiskey adds some sweetness to tone it down. It was a great finish to a fantastic meal. Service at both Treehouse and Lorea was excellent, with all staff being very professional and friendly at the same time. Both locations also had a certain classy feel that I really enjoyed. All of the food and drinks were excellent, and I really enjoyed the presentation of the food dishes. I'll look forward to returning to both places soon. As always, it's nice to catch up with Yelpers I've met at other events, and to socialize with new friends. Thanks again for a great evening!

Personally the squash spaghetti was not for me, simply because I do not like Marinara sauce, and without the sauce the squash was plain. Most times I am not a fan of Mac & Cheese... but the Macky's Mac & Cheese was DELICIOOOUUUSSS. The amount of cheese was perfectly balanced to create a flavorful meal. REGARDING the specialty pancakes... all I can say is I WANT MORE! I also want more of the Cajun Shrimp Salad PLEASEEEEE Boston's BBQ Burger was superb, delicious the Mama's special sauce made the burger taste OUT OF THIS WORLD! The French Toast Mama-Style was yummy for the tummy!! Thank you sooooo much to the Mama's on 39 team for hosting and allowing us to try your wonderful menu. Much love to you all

Yelp Elites are so open to getting to know one another while sharing a yummy meal. Mama's on 39 had the best service. They did an amazing job at presenting every dish and made sure that our glasses were always full. We had the chicken and waffles, hamburger and tots, red velvet and cinnamon pancakes, French toast, Cajun shrimp salad and spaghetti squash. All dishes were good but my two favorite were the Cajun shrimp salad and the spaghetti squash. I would absolutely come here again to share the yummy foods with my hubby.

We decided to come back to the 626 market this year. We were already prepared for what to expect…read moresince we were here last year. Some of the things from last year are still valid but this year it was a little bit different. One of the things we noticed is that they had a dance show of K-pop music and they did not have the washing stations in the middle. They did have more tables closer together rather than different sitting area areas. There were less beer stations so the lines were a little long for beer later in the night. Not having the middle washing stations made it so you had to go all the way to the restroom if you needed to wash your hands and you didn't have that extra supply of napkins. This year it wasn't as hot as the previous year so it felt nicer. Overall, we enjoyed it and we'll probably be back next year

So FoodieLand acquired 626 Night Market in October 2025 and this was my first time visiting since…read morethe new corporate ownership. [Parking]: $15 per vehicle for on-site parking just to enter the OC Fair & Event Center. [Admission]: Our party purchased the same-day tickets and paid a $16 per person entry fee. [What to expect]: The market was approximately half food vendors and half arts / crafts / gift vendors. There were solid craft and gift vendors, but not too many art vendors. The food was extremely overpriced ... a simple appetizer = at least $15+ & a filling meal = at least $25. The only real positive? There was a mahjong area that offered free lessons. The performance stage was alright. [Food]: Our party ended up getting only 6 pieces of soup dumplings (aka XLB) from Dumpling Dream for $14 and a cup of gelatea from Boutcha for $7.20 (one of the most affordable and best item to get at the market). [Conclusion]: If I ever come back to 626 Night Market, I would probably stick with the Arcadia location as parking is free and the admission fee is slightly cheaper. I am still having a hard time digesting the fact that getting into the market cost $30+ before even buying any food if I come here alone and I would also need to spend another $25+ just to feel like I had eaten a legit meal. I am good with this one-and-done visit.

I made it for Taste of Downtown 2024 and I'm glad I did…read more I will have to say that we had fewer vendors this year than last (2023), which was disappointing, but everything else was the same - from how you could purchase tickets (in-person at the entrances OR online via Eventbrite). Just liek last year, the Taste tickets can be utilised for any of the series in the calendar year, but they do not transfer over to the following year. This year was a bit better organised because of the much closer all the vendors were, although one of the vendors ended up not showing up that year unfortunately. We didn't know until we showed up the first day and realised that the vendor was not present. As usual, parking is free for 2 hours at the nearby parking structure by Ross. And, like last year, I give the entire event a 4/5 stars primarily of the fewer vendors and the lack of notice of vendors dropping out. I also knocked a star off because cars were still passing by on Pine between 3rd and 2nd, and wish that that had been blocked off for pedestrian safety and accessibility because vehicles aren't really stopping at the pedestrian walk signs on Pine, despite LBPD being there - not that they are of any help anyway (something never changes with them, as you can tell).

There were some restaurants that had booths on Pine Avenue. Bo Beau had a rocking Brussels spouts for only $3 it was enough to share with 2 people. Padres had tostadas that were piled high with Ceviche or Barbacoa. Ordinaire had a great short rib sandwich for $4. The $3 nachos from Beachwood Brewery were great! The 4th Horseman had vegan pizza and pesto pasta for $2. Algegria Cocina Latina had a great tamale coated in a creamy chowder for $2. Parking is free for 2 hour at 51 E.3rd Street. What a fun night can wait till the next one.

Sooo grateful for getting in on the guestlist for the Ini Elite experience :) Thank you CM Hayley,…read moreYelp OC and the Ini team! The Bunz and I went on a lunch date here for his first visit to Ini, my second. I made a reservation on Open Table and when arrived we were warmly greeted. Loved the natural lighting in the restaurant and the wood decor. Very modern, clean and comfortable. We had an pleasant experience and so glad we came during the Happy Hour times - less hectic and loud. Our server, Jennifer was personable and courteous. All the staff were very professional and attentive. I appreciated they sat us at a booth seating for 4 vs a table for 2 (otherwise all our orders wouldn't' have fit on there) We absolutely enjoyed the Spicy Miso Carbonara + the Yuzu Peach Refresher. The udon was chewy, sauce was savory but the pasta was spicier than I had expected. This pasta dish is a little heavy - so I say it's best to share. I do wish they had given a bit more protein though. But overall a dish worth trying. The Yuzu refresher was a nice surprise - very palatable. We also ordered the Beef Carpaccio, HH - Pepperoni Pizza and HH - Veal Bolognese. The happy prices on those were so worth getting! As for the pizza - the flavors were on point and well balanced but could use a bit more pepperoni. The Veal Bolognese was scrumptious that we ordered another! Don't under estimate the portion - they didn't skimp at all! The Beef Carpaccio was a light and nice appetizer to kick start the meal. We definitely would be back to visit again :)

This…read morespot had been on my radar for quite some time, and the Yelp Elite event finally gave me the chance to try it. KEI Concepts restaurants know how to hire their team! The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome. Anthony, our server was super helpful throughout our meal as well as the team members who helped bring out the dishes. As part of the event, we were treated to the complimentary Spicy Miso Carbonara and Yuzu Refresher. The carbonara was amazing. The udon pasta with a spicy creamy, eggy sauce was perfectly balanced with mushroom umami flavors. The spice level was just right, (but they offered chili flakes and chili oil for those who like it super spicy!) The fusion of Italian and Asian cuisines that I never knew I needed!! We also went a little crazy and ordered three other entrees: seafood poke pizza (sounds wild but the fusion was unexpectedly satisfying..) and seafood mafaldine (so much crab meat and seafood!) and the burrata caprese. Everything on their menu looks delicious and we will be back to try them. If you're a pasta lover (good food lover, in general) INI is an absolute must-try. The quality of the food, combined with the excellent service, makes it a standout dining experience. **A big plus was that the dishes were made fresh, allowing most to be modified. For pescatarians, sausage and bacon could be easily removed from some pasta dishes. Truly grateful! Thanks Yelp + Haley!!
