My husband and I finally visited Anaheim Packing District recently. This place was much smaller than we expected and didn't seem to have as many options as other reviews made it seem, but we had a good time visiting and enjoyed the food we tried. Our first stop was at El Chamango for an agua fresca. The drink was pretty expensive and tasted sweeter than I expected, but I still enjoyed it and found it refreshing. We then went to 206 BCE for their noodles. The dish was very flavorful. We saw lots of people ordering their platters, so I'd go back to try those. We also got other drinks and a couple small items from other merchants before heading out. If we're back in this area, I'd come back to try out other dishes. We visited on a Saturday and had to drive around to look for parking; we ended up finding free street parking a few blocks away.

Anaheim Packing District is one of my favorite places to visit while going to Anaheim California. I finally was able to go to it during the Holidays while visiting from Las Vegas with my family! The Anaheim Packing District is definitely now going to be one of my go to destinations every time I am in Anaheim. I simply love the energy and excitement that exists at this location and I like the convenience of having so many different restaurants all in one place! No matter what type of culinary adventure you desire from savory, sweet or just a simple snack, you will find something to satisfy your cravings! If you have a large group, it's a fantastic destination as each person can choose their own food and then sit down to eat together! The most exciting part of the Packing House is its diverse selection of food vendors who offer a wide array of cuisines including international fare, comfort foods and desserts. The ambiance is very casual with a ton of community seating available allowing for an extremely relaxed experience while enjoying your meal! The area offers additional space outside and other locations within the district that creates a very unique, open air environment! While visiting, I ate at a few different restaurants inside the Anaheim Packing District. -206 BCE -Randy's Donuts -The Kroft -ZeroZero 39 Pizzeria -Le Parfait Paris There are a couple of things to note regarding the Anaheim Packing District. First, due to its popularity with locals and visitors alike, especially at night and on the weekends, finding a parking space will likely be difficult. My family and I had to park a few blocks away. Second, after you find a parking space, the experience itself is well worth it though! The Anaheim Packing District is an attraction I would highly recommend if you are visiting or live in the surrounding area! The diverse offerings of food, as well as the energy and creativity of this district, provide an overall enjoyable and entertaining experience!

Nice place with a good selection of restaurants and bars. Went on a busy Friday night. There was a lively atmosphere and the place was buzzing. A little hard to figure out where everything is with the crowd and noise, but the variety of cuisine was great.

This place is awesome! I brought the kids here on a Friday afternoon and we just walked around and explored. Did some shopping and eating. So many different options and so much to look at. Definitely will come back to try some of the other places inside

Back to Anaheim Packing District, and still a fan. This food hall is super cool. The design is stylish and on weekends, there is even a DJ. This time we choose a different place, and, like last time, it was excellent! This time, the parking lot was completely full, so we ended up having to park in the free parking garage down the street.

We stopped by the Anaheim Packing District on our way to Anaheim to meet friends, mostly to get out of the rain and grab some lunch, and it ended up being the perfect stop. This place is such a great spot to check out a huge variety of food all in one location. There are so many different types of cuisine, regions of food, and spice levels to choose from. You've got savory food, sweets, desserts, ice cream, pretty much everything you could be in the mood for. Everything looks delicious, and there's truly something for everyone. They also have bars inside, and depending on the spot you choose, you can grab a drink or alcohol as well. It's a great place to hang out for a couple of hours, eat, have some ice cream, enjoy a drink, and just relax. Whether it's raining like today or super hot and you're looking for AC, this is a perfect indoor spot. Clean bathrooms, plenty of seating, and a fun atmosphere make it an easy 5 stars. Definitely worth stopping by.

This place really has something for everyone! Small groups or couples I definitely recommend trying a few small items form each place. Take your pick from handrolls and ramen, Asian fusion hot dogs, donuts, ice cream, soul food and so much more! There is plenty of seating, bars, some cute local shops, and even a few fine dining restaurants. Parking is available in a lot, but it's fills quick so I recommend searching for street parking nearby. All places operate with a buzzer so nice options to walk around and explore nearby menus while you wait. Definitely recommend for the days that everyone wants to try a little of everything.

I love this place. There are so many different food spots to choose from, you can literally walk around forever deciding what to get. The vibe is so cute and fun, and it's a great place to hang out, eat, and take pictures. Definitely recommend coming with friends or for a casual date.

Made a stop here for lunch. Wow. We found parking on the street. Which was very convenient. There are so many places to choose from. They have a little bit of everything. No matter what you are craving, I feel like they will have something for you. Are you craving something savory? something sweet? Soup? A sandwich? A drink? I'm sure you will find something. It was also cool to find out that they sometimes have live music here.

Bar area for the shabu shabu restaurant.

This review is just specifically for the Anaheim Packing District snd not any of the individual restaurants. My first time here at the Packing District, as I have heard of it, but never knew it was a food court hall similar to Steel Craft, but indoor. It makes me wonder what this place was before it became the packing district. The facility is a beautiful two story complex with plenty of eateries from Indian, Mediterranean, pizza, sushi, Ramen, sandwiches, poutine, charcuterie, fish & chips, and so many more including dessert places. There are a couple restaurants outside the main building but all within the same property. There are also bars and breweries as well. The two difficult things I found about the APD is one, parking. Not a lot of spaces, but you can either try to find street parking or they do have valet parking, I'm sure for a fee. Second thing is deciding where and what to eat. Below are just some of the many eateries there and some others not shown.

Stopped by the Anaheim Packing District before heading home after a weekend getaway in Orange County. I've seen this place all over social media, so it was great to finally check it out. Parking was probably the most challenging part of the visit, but once inside, it was worth it. The exterior and interior are both open, bright, and inviting, making it a really scenic spot to sit down and eat. With such a wide variety of food options, it's definitely a place worth checking out if you're in the area.

Fun and interesting spot in the heart of Anaheim. Been here twice in non peak hours and days and got parking, but definitely had to park a little bit away the first time. Parking lot is not large enough of this business and the surrounding businesses. Plenty of food options here though. Sit down spots and more casual or to go spots to choose from. Everything from French pastries and coffee, to donuts, to Mexican food and more. There are also some artists/ vendors selling there wares, clothes, crafts, etc. We tried the French themed cafe both time. Good Mocha but delicious desserts, and plenty to choose from. I downgraded due to parking, crowded, noisy, but definitely a good food hall to try if you want a bunch of options all in one spot.

The Historic Anaheim Packing District is truly one of those places that feels like you've stumbled upon a hidden chapter of Orange County's story and it just happens to be filled with incredible food. Once a key part of the agricultural boom in the mid-20th century, this beautifully restored packing house has been transformed into a vibrant food hall that blends history with a dreamy, bohemian vibe. The space itself is stunning. Think lush greenery, warm wood tones, charming swings, and unique decor tucked into every corner. On weekend nights, live bands bring the whole place to life, creating such a fun and inviting atmosphere whether you're on a date, with friends, or just exploring. And the food... you honestly can't go wrong here. One of the coolest features is The Blind Rabbit, a hidden speakeasy that adds a little mystery and adventure to your visit. Definitely worth checking out if you can snag a spot. For food favorites, Iron Press is a must. Their beer selection is top tier, and everything on the menu is consistently delicious. Urbana is hands down some of the most flavorful Mexican food I've ever had. It's not your typical spot, their dishes and drinks are elevated and unforgettable. En Cultura completely blew me away too. The meats are incredibly juicy, tender, and practically melt in your mouth. And of course, dessert is non-negotiable here. Le Parfait Paris is famous for their cookie croissant creation and it lives up to the hype. Hans' Homemade Ice Cream is another must, classic, rich, and the perfect way to end your visit. This place is more than just a food hall, it's an experience. A perfect mix of history, atmosphere, and amazing eats that keeps you coming back for more.

I haven't attended that event but would not be surprised if it gets crowded. It's a small space, often crowded with no parking on any given day.

Where to park?

Weekdays before 2 or 3 p.m. is a lot less crowded

This is similar to the Painted Ladies you see in San Francisco and older homes in certain parts of Seattle. Unfortunately because of Covid there are no interior tours but you can still see the outside and get an idea of how a wealthy person lived back then. The building itself has distinct features for the American Queen Anne style including asymmetric facade, cylindrical tower, and decorative overhanging eaves over a large wrap-around porch. Tiling and shingling work is impressive and though this style isn't something I really like I can appreciate the design of it. Cool random fishscale tiles on the tower somehow work very well. Hilariously at night it does look kind of creepy and its right in back of Anaheim High School, a lot of my friends in this area used to tell me all about the Witches House or the old Haunted House. 4 stars because you cannot go inside at this time so you only get half of the picture.

The Woelke family lived in the home for several years before moving to Los Angeles in 1899 and purchasing the Hotel Argyle. In 1899, when John had left Anaheim, he sold the home to Isaac Lyons, a native of England who came to California in 1862. Lyons lived in the home with his family from 1899 to 1904 when he sold the house to another family, the Michod's. They lived in the home from 1904 to 1907 and then sold the home to another family, Olmstead's. This family would only live there for less than a year before Peter Stoffel and his family would buy it, and make this house their home in 1907. Peter Stoffel lived the rest of his life in the home. It wasn't until Peter's wife died, that the family estate sold the property to John Dwyer when the city had planned to demolish it.  Tours are FREE every first Saturday of the month, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. In the 19th century, many people were migrating to the Midwest and Western U.S., and Garden Grove was one of the cities established by these settlers. Originally an agricultural community, Garden Grove was known for its orange and stone fruit farms (which is why early homes always had orange trees in the backyard). Main Street was the hub for community gatherings, which led to the development of surrounding services like post offices, churches, and local shops. In 1905, the introduction of the Pacific Electric Railway boosted the transportation of agricultural products from Garden Grove, making it easier for farmers to ship their goods. By the 1950s, with the rise of highways and suburbanization, local businesses began moving to larger shopping malls and newly developed towns, leaving Main Street's glory days behind. However, after 1980, there was a greater focus on historical preservation, and the city of Garden Grove invested resources to restore and maintain these original buildings. Today, many of these old structures have been given new life, housing restaurants, cafés, and thrift stores. The area also hosts annual events like car shows, concerts, and festivals, which help promote local culture and keep the economy thriving. Garden Grove is also one of the primary destinations for Asian immigrants in Orange County. The city has a diverse population, with about 42% Asian, 17% White, 15% Hispanic (White), and 14% Hispanic. Around 44% of the residents are naturalized U.S. citizens who were born outside the U.S. On weekdays, the street is pretty quiet, with most people hanging out inside the cafés. I took a walk around and came across the quirky Elvis-themed Mexican restaurant, Azteca Restaurant & Lounge, the popular Vietnamese coffee shop Phin Smith, another Vietnamese café called Phuc Long Coffee and Tea, and a thrift store that, to my surprise, sells wedding dresses and formal gowns! It was a fun and relaxed afternoon. Garden Grove Historic Main Street Free parking.
