Super appreciative of SYNT for this experience and for the generous credit to try out their food. I think it would be a good place to hang out with friends and catch up, and to work for a while. Parking lot is valet only and I parked at the meter. Stayed longer than intended so my friend and I had to go add to the meter a couple of times. Came at a not-so-busy time because I read the emails suggesting to try it earlier. The only thing is that we didn't eat lunch and the croffles are more of a dessert/snack! There were only 2 staff and it did get busy within the hour so they seemed a bit overwhelmed. We ordered 2 croffles and then after a while decided to get simple drinks as well - one iced tea and one steeped tea. They said the croffles would take 20 minutes because they make it fresh, which we were fine with. The drinks, however, took a long while to the point where we were going to cancel because we had been there too long and didn't want to keep adding to the meter. The drinks were done at that point and they kindly packed it to go. We had the black sesame croffle and the strawberry injeolmi croffles. One would have been enough for us. The black sesame taste was strong, which we liked. It was sweet so I paired it with a hot butterfly pea tea. We packed the second croffles to go. It was a good experience overall. I wished I had lunch before and expected to stay a long time so I could enjoy it some more.

Corn latte

Their coffee is super strong, large size and uses natural corn flavors and toppings in their drink. There were kernels of corn in the drink which is different from other places I've had. I will say the drink was a little sweet! Also got a pistachio Fatcaron and it okay. It was also very sweet and the filling was very dense. I loved the mango cake! The mangos were fresh and firm with the soft spongey cake with mango syrup. I think this place is all valet now too before it used to not be but the valet guy gave me a hard time because I couldn't move my car since someone was blocking it. It's a nice place to study!

WOW, what an adorable cafe! Thanks so much Yelp for this amazixng opportunity! I've come to this shopping center several times and I don't recall once seeing this place! Everyone was extremely kind, and gave great suggestions for the menu items. I went with the Honey Comb Matcha Einspanner Latte, the Sweet Corn Einspanner Latte, and the Oreo Cheesecake. 10/10 for the Honey Comb Latte and Oreo Cheesecake. The Latte was amazing, you get a huge chunk of honeycomb, although it's primarily for decoration given the latte is already sweet enough. The cheesecake was perfection! Aesthetically perfect, taste perfect, texture perfect! Not too sweet, but you get a good amount of Oreo throughout and it's honestly the best Oreo cheesecake I've ever had!! Now, the Sweet Corn Einspanner was a bit disappointing. It is very sweet, but it isn't the taste the disappointed me. There are big bits of corn throughout the drink! We all know corn doesn't really digest. You are chewing with every sip. I really dislike that. Chewing through corn skins the whole time. I couldn't enjoy it because of that. Very large pieces of corn in every sip that will not digest. Not a fan of that. Overall I really enjoyed the cafe! You can tell they're top of the game at presentation and taste. There's a parking lot, so you don't need street parking. Also there are other stores in the plaza, including other coffee shops, pool, acai, etc. It's really a nice one stop shop!

SYNT is a cafe with a menu that is rather quite extensive. I ordered the mango peach smoothie, iced matcha, and rose peach hibiscus tea. All the hubbub in the coffee shop made it where I had to speak a little louder when ordering. The mango peach smoothie was delicious. The iced matcha was made 25% sweetness, just like I like it. The rose peach hibiscus tea was made a hot beverage and I enjoyed the infusion of flavors. Everything that required milk was replaced with almond milk for a small fee. There were only two ladies there making for longer wait times. Nevertheless, the establishment was clean including the restroom section. They have a large seating area inside where customers can enjoy their ordered food. The extensive menu includes a plethora of infused matcha beverages, coffee, smoothies, and desserts. The alternative milks that they offer are oat and almond. Next time I have my eyes on the butterfly pea leaf tea--it is the tea that brews blue naturally. None of their dessert menu items are dairy free/vegan. "Win in the morning, win the day!" Fun Fact: SYNT stands for See You Next Time ***Special thanks to Yelp, Margaret, and SYNT for $30 credit--Thank you. Gracias. Grazie. Danke. Spasibo. Merci. Arigatō. Gamsahamnida. Děkuju. Ngiyabonga. I' wish you could taste what I enjoyed at SYNT thru the screen . I just couldn't resist trying their Sea Salt Caramel Toffee Nut Croffle and I am so glad . I paired it up with a nice hot cup of latte . Both of them delicious I will come back to try the rest of their croffle flavors and other pastries . I love they have seating options , from a communal vibe seating area to a more intimate setting . Parking in the area can be challenging but that's another story .

Came in here last week Saturday morning. The place is nice, spacious, clean, a lot of chairs and tables, and love the decorations. The ambiance is cozy and a bit loud, they have wifi so there are people hanging out with their computer. I got SYNT coffee, coffee corn latte and plain croffle. The drinks are bit sweet, it needs extra shot of espresso and plain croffle was good, i like the crispy edges. The staff were nice, they took our order on the table. They have parking lot, its free before the valet people comes. I would come back here to try their other coffee and desserts. Thank you SYNT coffee, YELP and Margaret for this event

NOTE: Dined in on 9/7/26. While I can't say the desserts were my favorite, the matcha was serviceable and it's nice to have this kind of third place open late at night in Ktown. Service is attentive and considering how busy this place gets, pretty punctual and helpful. Parking can be very difficult if you don't want to pay, so I'd recommend this more to folks who can get there via public transit. $30 credit is super generous for this event, but it really does get you about one dessert, which is absolutely fine as they are sharable! Thank you so much for the invite and looking forward to the next event.

The drinks and service are superb! I loved the matcha latte and injeolmi slushy. They have soy milk as a milk option, which is rare. I really appreciated that most of the drinks could be made unsweetened. The space is quiet and roomy to work in and the restroom is clean. I was able to park in the lot for free Saturday morning before the valet arrived.

Hey Siri, play, "For certain" by PARTYNEXTDOOR. Because for certain, I'm going to "See You Next Time". I am WEAK for oreo flavorings, so of course when I stopped by, I was already stepping with joy. Peaked at the menu prior to my visit, so I knew what I was getting myself into. My inner child was met with some Oreo inspired desserts and drinks. Hella hyped just to see the Oreo cookie sitting lovely as a garnish on some of their treats! It was a "grab a table and let your server take your order" kind of experience and I liked that. I also took advantage of my time here. It was a coffee shop that closes at 2am, free access to wifi, outlets, and a clean space to enjoy the minimal perks. Order: the Oreo Einspänner Caffè Latte, Oreo Croffle, and Red Velvet Cream Cheese Cookie. The Oreo latte and croffle were interesting. I ain't never had such! I enjoyed the drink fully, especially because it came with 2 espresso shots. But nahhh, I did not feel the desire to devour that crazy amount of sweets in one sitting. The croffle was a waffle loaded with lots of toppings to give it that oreo flavor. It would have been amazing if the waffle was slightly crispy and warm. The cookie, though, didn't meet my expectations. I was diving in for a cookie texture but instead it gave...Bundt cake. Ha! With this said, I would recommend coming here for a dessert hour after a meal and letting your inner child flourish with the delighted sweets they have to offer. It's worth a try! Meet me at 8pm for a coffee and chat here. If not, I'll "See You Next Time." Wink wink ;)

Stopped around 8pm to enjoy our store credit here as this place stays open very late! First thing we noticed was how bad the parking in the area was. We drive above around for a good 5 minutes trying to find something as the parking lot was valet only and full. We got seated right away, and our waitress took our order very quickly. The interior is bright and there's lots of tables where people seemed to be getting work done. I got the sea salt toffee nut caramel and latte and it was amazing! Perfectly sweet and creamy. I also got a red velvet cookie and a Dubai chocolate strawberry cake. The presentation on everything was beautiful and the taste was just as good! Service here was great! I made sure to bring a cash tip for our waitress as well. Overall I live the idea of this place and loved the service and drinks! One thing that will really stray people away from the area would definitely be the parking unfortunately.

Stopped by SYNT this afternoon & I will say parking for us was very hectic. Parking lot was absolutely full, had to spin the block a few times for street parking. However I will say, once inside it kinda made up for the parking situation hehe. Employee/our server was very sweet. The atmosphere here was very chill there were many people studying/working. The menu was so big was kind of overwhelming because everything just sounded too good. I ordered the Ube matcha latte & it was perfect, the perfect amount of sweetness not too over powering on the ube & could still taste the matcha. The serving size was just enough for me also. I also had the red velvet cookie which was divine the cream cheese in the middle was my favorite! Also ordered the Dubai chocolate strawberry cake & bought on the side a tiramisu cake to share at home. I would definitely recommend this spot & possibly come at an earlier time to secure a spot in the parking lot!

Right after I RSVPed to this event, I noticed some friends on social media who came here and posted their delicious looking drinks on their Instagram stories. So I was happy to finally be able to give them a try today with my boyfriend! Knowing how tricky parking can be in K-Town, we decided it was best to avoid the stress and took the metro bus there. Especially since our visit was later in the day (around 4-5 pm) when it was a little busier. One of the workers kindly greeted is as soon as we walked in and let us choose our seats. Not to mention, she also brought everything to our table as well, which was a nice surprise. The level of customer service here is top-tier, and I really appreciate how friendly and helpful the employees were. We previewed the menu during our commute and already knew what we wanted to order. Unfortunately for my boyfriend, who originally wanted a blueberry lemonade slushie, they informed us that they were out of lemonade powder. It was a bit of a bummer since he had his heart set on trying one of their lemonade slushies, but he reevaluated his decision and went for the blueberry cream soda instead. I ordered a new menu item, the sweet corn einspänner caffè latte, an oreo cookie and a "fatcaron", which was basically an over stuffed macaron. Our order did take a little time to be made, but it gave me a chance to admire how beautiful it looked inside. I liked how my sweet corn latte contained actual pieces of corn, but I would have preferred less of them next time. Other than that I enjoyed everything I ordered! The coffee here is also a bit more on the sweet side, which I didn't mind at all. My boyfriend liked his cream soda too, despite it overflowing after lightly stirring it with his straw lol. My favorite item overall was definitely the Oreo cookie! It was delicious, not too sweet, and thick like a crumble cookie, but better and more solid. I would definitely go back for another one of those cookies. The Piggy bar "fatcaron" was yummy too, but I honestly don't know what flavor it was supposed to be. The presentation was AMAZING, from the desserts to the drinks and especially the actual store itself. Like I mentioned if was beautiful inside, very clean & had a decent amount of seating. The bathroom was also super nice and clean. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time visiting, and I can totally see myself coming back to try more items from their large and menu. I had such a fun/cute coffee date here with my boyfriend & I can definitely see why this place is popular. Thank you to the Yelp Elite team & SYNT for this lovely experience!

Thank you for the invite SYNT! Very spacious space with lots of tables. This place opens late at night so perfect to study late at night (wish I had this when I was in college). Staff was friendly. Parking was a little challenging in the lot but much easier to park in the residential area. Drinks were fantastic! I enjoyed both the honey einspinner and peach but will ask for it to be less sweet next time. Tiramisu was a good portion size. Perfect for 2 people.

Review #893 2025-065…read moreYEE #136 Comped Dulce Pan Order: Alemana Dulce Pan Order: Brazo Gitano, Guisano, Oreja, Quesadilla Yelp is celebrating Latinx Heritage Month with La Usuluteca, an authentic Central American deli, & lucky Elites like myself get to enjoy 1 complimentary pan dulce of our choosing. The bakery is located near Arlington Heights, off Washington Blvd. & 10th Ave.; you can't miss the bright red name banner & awning. Upon entering, your senses are hit with baking & cooking scents: pan dulces & pupusas? After selecting my Yelp freebie: Alemana (vanilla muffin pound cake), I asked what's their best seller & got the Quesadilla. It's a sweet, dense cheese bread with a texture that mimics a pound cake. It was really tasty if a tad on the dry side. My son picked the Oreja, literally translates as "ear" because it looks like one. This puff pastry is also called a palmier. It's sweet, light, crisp, & flaky. M says they're way better than Costco's. I also added a Brazo Gitano (strawberry & coconut Swiss/jelly roll), & Guisano (pineapple-filled roll). Although I might have mixed up Alemana & Guisano. I figured this is a mom & pop, so a menu is not probable, & requested the server's help; she was kind enough to take the extra time to provide the names of dulce pans. There's no dulce pan menu, but there is an electronic hot foods menu behind the counter. Not sure of price points, but I got 4 items, excluding my Yelp freebie, for $11.00+. There's a 50¢ surcharge with a cc payment. It would be nice to have placards labeling & pricing the items (sometimes pricing dictates my choices & the quantity). Friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful customer service... my server took extra time to provide the names of the dulce pans & describe what's in them. While I'm not likely in this part of town, I'm definitely a fan of this Central American bakery & will stop by if I'm in this neighborhood. Muchas gracias Yelp, CM Margaret, & La Usuluteca team for my weekend's sweet treats... mi dulce son muy deliciosos!!

***LA Foodie's Float Trip Review***…read more Needed to wait until I calmed the F down to write this review. I was pretty excited to go to this event. Ice cream + beer = beer floats. What's not to be excited about? Event was from 4-7p so I arrived around 4:30 thinking it was perfect timing...wrong! So many things wrong, I barely know where to being. Problem #1 - while angel city brewery is rather large, the parking lot legit has space for about 7 cars. Given that the event had anywhere from 150-200 tickets sold, parking was atrocious. It took me 20-25 minutes to find parking & I only did so when I gave up & headed to little Tokyo to park in a paid lot. Problem #2 - Finally walked over to angel city to find a long ass line. My friend was already waiting for me in line so thankful I was able to scoot in with her. No one at angel city explained what this line was for. All they said was that there was a ticketed & non ticketed line (meaning tickets to the event or not). That was fine for 5 minutes but this line wasn't moving at all. At some point I found out that the venue was at capacity & it was 1 in 1 out. It would have been nice to know this, not to have had to figure it out by counting the people going in & out myself. The other really uncool thing was that they were alternating between letting in people from the ticketed vs. non ticketed line. While I understand to some extent, I paid to get in this joint/event! These other people did not so why am I not getting priority? After waiting about 30 minutes, I was finally IN (on top of the 20-25 to find parking). I checked in only to have to wait in another line to get beer for the floats. I should note that the folks at the check-in were extremely apologetic & sympathizing about the line & the wait. While it still sucked, it was nice that they were concerned about it. After that everything went much smoother....basically after I got my beer + ice cream 1 hour after I initially arrived. There were several issues, some of which were caused by the venue. 1. There was an engagement party & a birthday party going on at the same time. Why would you have 3 events during the same time? 2. No one explained why the hell we were waiting in this awful line to get in for so long. 3. The venue was not a good choice given the parking situation vs. the number of tickets sold to the event. The only reason I'm giving this a 2nd star is because of the LA Foodie staff. They went out of their way to express concern & were very sorry about the issues so that helped easy the stressfulness. Overall it was poor planning on both the venue & the event coordinator's side.

I definitely plan on coming back the next time they're around!

I've been going to the 626 Night market every year for the last couple of years. Although I feel…read morelike prices have rose pretty significantly in the past couple of years this is an event I'm always excited for. It is peak summer where you are able to be out in a comfortable summer night and browse what feels like any and all food there is. I thought this year was especially great with the DJ and the location. Previous years they always had the DJ tucked away all the way in the back but having them front and center of the event was a great call. Always have that awesome music in the background added a lot to my experience. Some of the standout thing we got was Japadog which is a wagyu hotdog that will make you rethink what a hotdog can be. We got a truffle katsu sandwich there too which is as fabulous as it sounds. Also had salt bread which was especially exciting considering I have been craving them ever since visiting Korea. Lastly, I got a fried Reece's cup which I have been in the hunt for some time since they seem pretty rare, so of course that hit the spot. Overall, this was an awesome 626 night market better than previous years. This is something I'll continue to look forward to every year!

Thanks to Katie B., I scored free tickets to the Field to Fork event at the LA Times The Taste. Did I follow instructions? Heck naw!! The event was held at Paramount Pictures Studios. I've been here before for tapings of "The Doctors" & "Ask Oprah's All-Stars", so I knew the lay of the land. Myself & other attendees were waiting in line on Gower Street. There was another entrance on Van Ness Ave., where the backup parking lot was located. We quickly had our ID's checked, walked through metal detectors & escorted to the event. I believe there were the same number of restaurants & vendors as the LA Food & Wine Festival, but The Taste was held outdoors. It was quite hot, but Icelandic Glacial water bottles were situated here & there, with Snapple & VitaCoco coconut water booths for refreshment. Here are the highlights of my day- Fried crusted Pinkerton avocado - Orgasmic. The fatty Pinkerton avocado was a perfect fit for frying. I asked the Chef, who's restaurant is the Avalon Grille, "Why Pinkerton?". He says it has more fat than the standard Hass. I totally agree. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-times-the-taste-los-angeles?select=B-ady3gbdwaBE597PsfO8A#ixRb3V-ExMYmBZhzMQSEtA Tres Leches cake - Mmmmmmmm, creamy & melt in my mouth. It's extremely mild, with no liver taste, at all. It's like meat butter, really. Ding! My winner for the Field to Fork event. The pie filling was filled w/ sweet & decadent peaches & blueberries, w/ a crumbly crust. All of that topped with an absolutely sinful scoop of vanilla (I think) ice cream. It was perfect for this hot day. My favorite! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-times-the-taste-los-angeles?select=B-ady3gbdwaBE597PsfO8A#Tz2lBmK6rx9ENJjwmw_aEQ Of course, I happened to stumble upon some schwag while I was there. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-times-the-taste-los-angeles?select=B-ady3gbdwaBE597PsfO8A#9N9Mw7SF3dE0gfn8jdm82Q After an hour & a half, I was done. The thought of eating more food made me want to pass out. I grabbed a couple more VitaCoco waters to go & cruising down 101 South I went. I had such an amazing time. The food was phenomenal, the chefs/staff were amazingly hospitable & the foodie fun was contagious. Having been to both the LA Food & Wine Festival & LA Times The Taste, I feel like a true snooty food gourmand, sticking my nose up at nothing but the best to eat, with presentation & plating influencing factors in my reviews. Hey, don't I do that already on Yelp? :) Once again, thank you Katie B. for giving me so many opportunities to enjoy local events. During my birthday month & a little after, no less. You are a Yelp goddess & I bow down to you. Fun can't begin to describe the day I had today. Can't wait for what's in store for me next. Best birthday month EVER! Excelsior
