I found out about this place through my cousin, so we came here after dinner and we all had such a great time. Earlier we had dinner on Whyte Avenue so it was very convenient to just walk a block or two. Upon first glance, shop's exterior was so pretty, I loved the big windows and the white balcony on the outside. It was so dainty and cute, especially with the lights from inside glowing through. And even the inside, I loved all the greenery and how they opened up the space inside. Service was quick and attentive. I was very surprised between how many flavors they had, it was kind of overwhelming at first but impressive. Looking at each of the flavors and recognizing how much of the flavors had filipino references brought me back to my childhood. I liked the creativity. I spent the longest choosing between flavors and the guy behind the counter was so patient with me :) I ended up getting the Matcha Cookies and Cream and Kuya Earl Grey. Everything tasted so lovely and the scoop size was perfect. The matcha and cookies and cream combination blended very well together. The Kuya Earl Grey was amazing, I really like flowery flavors and this one was really good. Both scoops were creamy and the flavors shined. Also both scoops had the perfect amount of sweetness. Yeah my pictures weren't entirely that great just because I was so excited to try it lol. All in all, I highly recommend anyone to give this place a try because I feel like there's something on this menu for everyone. I'm very curious to try their soft serve with a waffle cone when I come back and what looked like a mango cake slice from afar. p.s. Yes in the picture of my ice cream, I was trying to hide that I took a couple bites because I couldn't wait.

This place is very good. A huge selection of ice cream and many Asian flavours which suites me. :) For those individual who don't like ice cream their selection of pastries and drinks are really good as well. I really like their cookies. Thank goodness I don't live in Edmonton because I'll be coming here too much! It's in the heart of Whyte Ave and a great place for dessert if you are looking for that in the evening. I really do hope someday they will expand and come South to Calgary. :) At least open a foodtruck there!

Wide variety of ice cream flavors and other desserts with some flavors inspired by the Philippines! I tried their Ube x Langka soft serve in a cone. I really enjoyed the unique flavors, especially Langka (jackfruit) which is a flavor I do not commonly see. Both flavors were not too sweet which I liked and also they meshed well together. Service was good too, it was a bit busy but the line went by pretty fast. I liked the overall appearance of the shop and I can see it being a very popular shop to hang out with friends or get a good ice cream on your way along Whyt Ave!

Can you say 5 star status? This one was truly amazing, and all the flavor notes hit my soul. I was truly blessed to experience this ice cream and dessert place while celebrating my birthday back in July. Everyone was super friendly, asked if we would like to sample , and had any questions regarding the menu. I love Bibingka in general, so when I saw this wonderful dessert, I did not hesitate at all....I said, "This is the one right here." Got it warmed up, and it truly melted in my mouth and felt like my Filipino heritage grew like 10% more (haha) If you live in the area, bless your heart and your waistline because if I lived in that area, I'd probably have to diet the rest of my entire life (haha) Thank you for the best memories as I will cherish this dessert for the rest of my life.

$9.25 double scoop with waffle cone: Keso ( UBE mixed in butter ice cream) + Calamansi Sherbet is a good combination.

This has been a super popular ice cream place in the summers since I moved to Edmonton 6 years ago, but the old location was so small and always had such a ling line that I hadn't tried them till about 2 years ago. They moved this year to a new larger location on Whyte only 2 blocks from the old one which is super nice - roomy, attractive, and with a tiny front patio to sit in also. Their ice creams are inspired by Filipino flavours and include tastes like black sesame, pandan, and more. They may seem unusual but they're all delicious, and include some amazing vegan options too. They also have a food truck - stalk @sosyalscoops on Instagram to find them in the summer months. But if you find yourself on Whyte Ave, check out their shiny new location and maybe also try some of their baked goods!

Had to grab some ice cream in the Edmonton area and this was recommended by my friend so we had to check it out. A lot of their flavours are Filipino inspired, but they also have other unique flavours as well. I went with the matcha cookies and cream, which was really good as I'm a big fan of matcha! Also would have like to try the ube soft serve ice cream. This place looked really busy and had a line when we were there. Great spot for ice cream and desserts, would love to go back to try more flavours!

Yelo'd is one of my favourite ice cream places and is a must whenever I visit Edmonton! I tried the Chocnut ice cream and it reminded me of all the chocnuts that I consumed when I was little. The Filipino-inspired flavours are delicious! They have baked goods and I tried a toyo cookie that was a combination of a soft and chewy centre with crispy edges. They also moved down the street on Whyte to a bigger place! It's a beautiful location.

We stopped by to try some Filipino inspired desserts. The line up was long and steady for 9 pm. It was hard to decide on what to order that I decided to try some ube soft serve and a couple cookies to take back home. The ube flavour was nice and subtle. The soft serve was really soft. I think because they were so busy, both the ice cream and soft serve were on the soft side and melted faster in the summer heat. The waffle cone was fresh and crispy. Service was friendly, fast and efficient.

Glad to see they expanded their storefront! They had a few menus at the beginning of the line so was helpful when making your decision on what flavours to get. Would suggest them having the menu at the front of the door or something so people in line can review prior to ordering. The black sesame pistachio was average as I tasted more pistachio than black sesame. The black sesame was also very light in color. The PAndan confetti cookie tested like any other sugar cookie
