Extremely disappointing experience with Ambient Solutions…read more We purchased a brand-new HVAC system from Ambient expecting that we were investing in a reliable system and professional support. Unfortunately, we have experienced problems with the system essentially since it was installed, and the lack of follow-through from Ambient has been just as frustrating as the equipment issues themselves. During the summer, our AC completely stopped working during very hot weather. We contacted their 24-hour service, and although the technician who responded was professional, the system was not repaired. We continued having problems afterward, including the AC being unable to maintain the temperature set on the thermostat. On August 7, after already going two weeks without contact from Ambient, I reached out again and explained that the system was still not working properly. I specifically told them that on warmer days the house would remain 3-5 degrees above the requested temperature and gave them a real example: at 8:00 PM it was still 75° inside with the thermostat set to 70°. I also explained that we had been dealing with problems since installation and that the system had never worked correctly. That August 7 message was our last communication with Ambient. As of September 21, we have received no response, no follow-up, and no resolution. This isn't an old HVAC system that has reached the end of its life. This is a system we purchased new from Ambient, and we have been trying to get the problems addressed since it was installed. We gave them multiple opportunities to correct the situation and continued trying to work with them rather than immediately going elsewhere. At this point, the most disappointing part isn't simply that a new system has had problems--equipment can have issues. It's that the company that sold and installed it has failed to follow through and has now gone more than six weeks without responding to our last request for help. We paid for a new, properly functioning HVAC system and expected the company that installed it to stand behind its work. Based on our experience so far, that has not happened.

The two companies before Pro carpet cleaners made stuff smell nice, but the stains were still very visible in high traffic areas and almost seemed worse a few months after they were cleaned. Also, their long hose attached to the van leaked a line of chemical across our front lawn killing grass. Bill showed up in a Prius and changed all that. His equipment was smaller and environmentally safe. He spent extra time to get some stains out, explained some of the chemistry behind his methods and was extremely thorough. He let me borrow his fans for a few days after to dry the carpets out and came back and did a quality control check after everything was dry. Thanks Bill!

Great Service, great price…read more Jason and his wife do an excellent job of providing great service as well as a very competitive price. We had them clean the carpets in our condo (they hadn't been cleaned since they were installed 4 years ago). It took Jason a couple of hours to clean several rooms and 3 flights of stairs. When her was finished, the carpets looked brand new, AND they were dry enough to put furniture back after about 5 hours. Excellent work ethic and will definitely use them again.

I was hoping to not have to leave a poor review. I had reached out to Mike first to give him the…read moreopportunity to make it better, but he chose not to and has since been unresponsive. When I originally scheduled, I was under the impression I would be getting a thorough clean of my windows, including the tracks and screens. Mike knew this was a post construction job, so it needed a more thorough clean up. Upon arrival, Mike told me they for sure will do the screens, but did not have time to do the tracks and to let him know that I wanted that next time. I thought I had made that clear when scheduling a post construction clean up. Anyway, he assured me the screens would be cleaned, but after he had left, I was disappointed to find the screens had been put back full of dust and dirt. When I contacted Mike about this, all he had to say was he would try harder next time. He didn't even apologize or offer to make it right. This was an expensive service to have done, to have to go back and do part of the job myself. Mike still has not offered to do anything to make right.
