After leaving our home, about an hour on the road, we realized we left my wheelchair at home. Should we turn around? No we called the hotel (the Cosmopolitan), they recommended Yellow Scooters. The lady that answered was so kind and understood our dilemma I cannot use a scooter and she assured me that they had manual wheelchairs. Quoted me the price and told me not to worry. I recently stayed at Green Valley Ranch Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for Christmas. I requested they rent a mobility device for my use. They typically use Yellow Scooters. When I returned home, I noticed I had been double billed on my credit card. I was put in contact with Jasmine at Yellow Scooters. She informed me she would process a refund if it was proven that I really had been double billed! A few days later, I noticed a credit had been processed on my credit card for a lesser amount than the charge. I contacted Miss Congeniality again. She immediately told me "you were given a refund already". I replied yes I had, but I asked why the amount was not what I was charged. The GENIUS told me they charge a fee for all credit card transactions. I told her it was not my fault she doubled billed me, and I shouldn't have to pay that fee. She said, "okay, we'll refund the $2.59" and hung up on me! She never apologized for double billing me in the first place! I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN! I suggest others avoid having to deal with the oh-so charming Jasmine, who really should choose a career where interacting with people and using common sense are not required!!!! read more

I called several scooter rental companies , most did not answer the phone ,voice mail ,recordings or no answer. If I was finally able make contact with a representative I was told that there were no scooters available. When I called Yellow Scooters I was pleasantly surprised , an actual person answered the phone. The agent I spoke to was Julie, I have seen Julie mention several times in reviews, some of those reviews were not positive. But I would like to share my experience, first and most importantly Julie answered the phone!! Julie has a quiet and professional phone presence, Julie answered all my questions , laughed at my bad jokes and made every effort to fulfill my mobility needs . She arranged to have my scooter delivered to accommodate my schedule . I cannot speak to the reviews that were not favorable to Julie, but I would contend to you, if you are nice to people...they will be nice to you. Thank you Julie for all your efforts on my behalf. I give nothing but praise for this business. I stayed at Paris Las Vegas. I needed a rental scooter and based on the website looked like best to choose. The woman who took my reservation was a pleasure to talk to. I paid for my days and waited for my trip. Called day before so I wouldn't have any issues. I was told it would be there. Well it was and Paris Hotel wouldn't give it to me. The hotels don't rent them out anymore. You make arrangements for delivery of a scooter, then pick it up from the Bell desk as you drop off your luggage. Well the guy said there is no scooter. Told him I verified delivery. Then the woman bell person said it's there. I ask guy again to check. Meanwhile I'm on phone with Yellow Scooter and they say it was dropped off Sunday. Now he says it's there but I can't have it. I need to speak to the Captain. I go inside, go all the way to 1st check in person. He goes and checks and says. It's there, but we can't release it till 3 pm. I said I paid 12-12pm for my scooter. Well we have to check...there's some questions. Can't release it till 3. Now I need it to get around hotel. We checked in early at noon. But I can't go to room without it. So we play and wait. Oh when I called Yellow Scooter they said if not there they would run one over. So we kill time till 5ish. We go back. They give me Scooter but no apologies or any answers. Friday comes, I ask Yellow Scooter rep if I could keep it till 3 because of what hotel did even though not Yellow Scooter fault. They said no problem. You can keep it till 5 then drop off when you get your luggage. About 15 minutes later I get a call from a Las Vegas area code. I almost didn't answer it. It was a gentleman from Yellow Scooter who asked when are you leaving hotel? I said 7pm. He said keep Scooter till you leave. Apologized for what hotel did though no fault of theirs. I would recommend Yellow Scooter to anyone. Great service. They stand by their product and will deal with the hotel. They saved my problem from affecting my mood as I first got to Las Vegas. I will add to all of the people who left negative comments .. If i could as well, would be zero stars ... The lady was rude to me over the phone, not letting me explain the reason I was calling, I was mislead to initial that I wanted insurance costing me extra money when it was not my fault as I have rented from this company 3 times within 2 weeks , where the first two receipts clearly showed I didnt take insurance, why would I have taken it the 3rd time I rented it .. She didnt want to listen to me anymore on the phone, she told me I can NOT rent from their company again, and it was in a casino in Las Vegas of where I rented this .. I checked out 3 days early and I was going to ask for a refund but had to clear up the insurance I was mislead to insurance by the bell man from the casino ... The guy who owns the place has the nerve to call me at home, asking why I went off on his wife, using strong language which I denied as I did not .. I have a taped recording of him going off on me as I presendted this to my lawyer this past week ... Talking to Handicapped and Disabled people from a place that caters to wheelchairs and scooters deserve the upmost respect and I was not given that . . I went to the casino to discuss this with the bell desk, and the front desk manager, and they all agreed I should have been re imbursted .. I was able to get 5 scooters within 2 hours. Jesse delivered them and he was AWESOME!!! One of the scooters got knocked into neutral and we couldn't figure out how to get it started. I called Jesse and he answered and within minutes, we were rolling again. Another time, the battery popped loose from hitting a large bump at a fast pace (very common with any scooter). Once again, Jesse was helpful right away, only taking seconds for us to fix it. We rolled around all of Vegas for hours with no issues and had a BLAST!!!! I will use this company again!! I would Avoid at all costs!! I had a 3 day rental with them and the scooter was stolen the next day, after I had parked it next to a slot machine and yes I had the key with me, when I reported it to yellow scooter they immediately charged my credit card $1500.00, my complaint is that they failed to tell me that their keys are universal so I feel they are partially responsible, I will never use them again. For all I know they recovered the scooter and never reimbursed me, I was told by someone else they recover about 95% of their stolen scooters!! I hate to even give them 1 star!! read more

This review is overdue, but I wanted to give credit where it is due. I rented a scooter in April of this year for my father. He had an injury on his leg and could not walk around, so I made the reservation that same day we arrived and I was pleased with the service I received. They dropped off the scooter at the hotel we were staying in and we did experience an issue with the charging of the battery but come to find out it was not plugged in all the way and we didn't charge it correctly. I requested a different scooter with a full charged battery, and they were nice enough to come and swap it out. My father was so happy to not have to to walk and just be able to drive around despite the weather issues but I was extremely satisfied with this place. i rented one through the concierge at the marriott grand chateau. i asked for a one day rental and asked if i needed to extend it for one additional day was that ok. they said yes. when i went to extend they charged me for two one day rentals ($65x2) instead of the two day rental ($110). what a sneaky way to say you can accommodate as that math does not count as an extension. the scooter worked just fine. i would not recommend based on their business practices. read more

Our scooter died TWICE in the street in two days - so dangerous. I had to push my husband back to the hotel from dinner. The office manager, Julie, is extremely rude and disrespectful. She accused me of just wanting a refund, and then of not charging the scooter properly. She never apologized for our experience with her scooter. I have never had the inclination to write a horrible review for any company I have done business with, except this one. I rented a scooter from them for my trip to Las Vegas. No contract or acceptance of terms were signed or initialed - only my credit card and name taken. There was mention of terms at the bottom of my receipt in tiny letters related to their cancellation policy but that was it. No offer of insurance and where to read about it was made although it is recommended in their frequently asked questions as was the existence of a lever so the cart could be pushed. No instructions were given by the delivery person about how to operate the scooter. When my scooter was stolen (I had the keys and was gone approximately 15-20 minutes) I immediately reported it to security and telephoned the company. I was told I would have to pay $1200.00 for a replacement. This all happened while I had the key in my possession and had no idea someone could walk off with the scooter simply by flipping a lever. Upon arriving home, I telephoned the owner of the company, Julie, and she accused me of being irresponsible and losing the scooter. I explained it was stolen and she would have none of that saying that I was the one who had allowed it to be lost. She was so rude and insulting that I told her I couldn't believe she was yelling at a customer like she was and I wondered how they stayed in business. I told her I would never rent from them again and she said "good, we don't want irresponsible renters like you." Considering it was a known fact by those in the business at this time that scooter thefts were occurring frequently in Vegas and other companies were providing a lock so their scooters could not be pushed/the lever could not be flipped one would think Yellow Scooters would show responsibility and provide a lock also. This company could care less that the information they provide a renter verbally and on their web site is confusing and extremely incomplete. I honestly don't know how people can rent from them after seeing their review star level. Julie is a nightmare to deal with. BEWARE!!!!!! read more

Feburary 2018 I rented a scooter for my sister for disneyworld in florida. The scooter would not keep a charge and we had to stop several times during the day to recharge which really infringed on our vacation. After several complaints they finally told us they would bring another chair. The chair they brought had electrical problems and would not go up ramps. It had to be pushed up the ramps. Its pretty sad when you make a resercation for a special type of scooter and get to your hotel but its not available. Then they want to charge you 40 bucks more to get it in 2 days. No customer servicing they should have honored the price which I was told the price will not change. Thats ok 702 scooters will fulfill my needs. Less expensive than most other companies and is always giving me little "extras" that make it more personal.their scooters are top notch (I'm a big guy and they have no problem with me) and customer service is above and beyond.
