Tire replacement

I brought my son's electric scooter to replace his worn out solid rubber tires. Joe took care of that problem and replaced them the same day. A real positive experience here at WheelZen Rides. I will definitely be coming back to have them work on our scooters. Thanks Joe!

Me trying to fix the issue with the wiring from day 1, Joe waited until last minute to try to fix it and was hard to reach
Mia M.

This place lied, cheated, and endangered us. The biggest issue was the lack of accountability and integrity, but the quality of work was equally appalling. The installation was so poor it caused accidents and had to be undone 10 days later. When I tried to resolve issues, Joe always blamed others, and that attitude extended to his employees, who almost (accidentally?) stole my ebike battery and tires. When I picked up the bike, the accessories were missing. They denied having them until I provided photo evidence. Only then did they send the items via Uber. Wheelzen replaced my throttle, and the first time I used the ebike, it malfunctioned so badly it took off on its own. The next day, it malfunctioned again, resulting in a hand injury. I now have a scar from a deep puncture wound and still have internal bruising. I'm seeing a doctor soon. The manufacturer confirmed the throttle caused this, and now I have to return the ebike, which I bought on sale. When I initially contacted Joe for help with LED Whip installation, he assured me he could do it since he'd done similar installs on vehicles. I brought my ebike and the wiring system to him, but he said it wouldn't work for two bikes. He said he'd order the right wiring and that I could take the original system back with me to Miami. After weeks of no communication, he gave me a vague estimate but refused to itemize costs until the work was done. By then, I had no choice but to accept his pricing. His lack of transparency was frustrating. I dropped off my first ebike on July 22nd, and Joe didn't start working on it until August 15th, when he realized the wiring he ordered wouldn't work. This forced me to spend over $40 on rush shipping to send him the original system. I had planned to pick up the bike on August 20th, but I couldn't leave until the 23rd. Joe also installed smaller batteries without asking, which lasted only 3 hours, and charged me extra for them. I then had to purchase two external batteries for $100 each. Had he communicated better, I could've avoided these costs and the hassle of flying with bulky batteries. Joe initially refused to work on the second ebike, despite agreeing to do so a month earlier. Although I didn't deliver it until August 21st, it was supposed to take just an hour, so I felt offended he didn't want to prioritize me to keep his word. After some pushback, he finally did it, but the hardware was installed at an angle, turning it into a 6ft glowing rainbow "Dangle Dong of Death." It quickly became a dangerous game of dodge-the-dong to every passerby, and we had to remove it. As for the first ebike, the throttle malfunction was so bad that when I pedaled, it jolted forward, making me look like an intoxicated maniac. I had to disable the electric assist at slow speeds. The LED whip was so poorly secured that the battery slipped out the first night, causing fraying and malfunctions. I had to fix it with more zip ties, despite paying hundreds for the job. I had to undo all the installations. Upon doing so, I discovered that 75% of the screws were stripped, and one was missing entirely. To add insult to injury, Joe refused my request for a partial refund, even with photographic evidence. He blamed me and others for everything. The reality is Joe accepted the job without looking closely, delayed it until the last minute, made mistakes, and blamed everyone else. His behavior is disturbing both professionally and personally. I sincerely hope he gets help. In conclusion, avoid this company. The lack of integrity, poor skill, and terrible customer service caused injuries, endangered lives, and cost me time, money, and wellbeing. It created more work for me than if I had done everything myself.

Call log

If you are in need of a bike repair, DO NOT go to WheelZen Rides! My husband dropped off my son's E-bike on 12/20/2025 and we spoke with Joe who at the time was very pleasant and eager to assist. He stated he would try his very best to have my son's bike repaired by Christmas. Of course, no guarantees were made which is completely understandable as many businesses are busy during the holiday season. The shop was closed from Christmas Day to 01/06/2026. Upon the shop re-opening we allowed three business days before following up in regard to an estimated repair completion date. No updates were given but we were PROMISED a follow-up call by the end of the week and yet no call were received. We gave the shop more time to contact us but yet we did not receive a call. We followed up AGAIN on January 15th, 27th, 28th, and the 31st. On the 27th and 28th, we were advised we would receive a follow-up call once Joe discussed repairs with his on-site technician by the end of next business day which did not occur hence why continued calling. On our final attempt, we spoke with Joe who was extremely passive aggressive and did not take any accountability as to why we NEVER received any updates. Repair shops can't always confirm arrival dates of parts BUT they can advise that parts have been ordered and provide an ESTIMATE on completion, if that completion date it not met a follow-up SHOULD be provided. It is the shops duty to relay updates to their customers even if there isn't much of an update. No customer deserves to be left in the unknown. This shop lacks setting the proper expectations and courtesy. Long story short we have yet to hear back from the shop and it is March 3rd! We have purchased a new bike and will NEVER return to this place. So if you are looking for a company that is reliable, diligent, and proactive this is NOT the shop! I have attached a screenshot of my call log so you can see no calls were EVER received from this place.

I do recommend this place. Joe the owner is very knowledgeable with his shop . This is the only place we get our scooter and when it breaks down it comes right here to the shop. We don't go anywhere else. Joe is very honest as well

One wheel's & accessories!
Grant G.

Absolutely amazing lil PEV bike, scooter & onewheel store right off the strip near the Rio. I have an electric bike I bought off amazon for local commuting. My brakes where starting to go out & my bike was making a loud squeaky sound. Brought it in & one of Jamie & Joe the owners really helped me out with a last minute emergency appointment to get it fixed asap & get me back on the road. They were all super nice, helpful, affordable & knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Took my motor off to get new tires on them.

So...I took my front & rear tires with the motors on them from my stand-up scooter to this shop to get new tires installed on 10/5/24. On 10/15/24 they called me it's all done. I'm happy with the business just wish they got them done quicker but still happy with their service. It

THE OWNDER YELLING OUT GAY SLURS AS WE LEFT

i recommend going to JB's scooters, rather then going anywhere near this place. the owner joe is a complete asshole. i dropped off a scooter and was quoted 2-3 weeks over a month later and i hadn't even received a call or update on it being fixed. i called and the person said he just took a look at it that day. so it sat there for a whole month with no work being done on it. i said i'd just come pick it up and take it somewhere else. he said that's fine. i showed up to pick it up and was told they did work on it and i owed $50 for labor, all they did was remove a screw. when i took it in, it had one broken screw now it magically had 2 and one wasn't fixed so they just removed a screw so they would be able to charge me. the owner joe made a lot of rude comments while we were waiting in line in front of other people waiting too. he also made threats which we have on voice recording. after paying the 50 and lots of arguing and belittling from the owner, he said "get the fuck out, i know i'm an asshole, this is my store" he was very entitled. then he made threats to beat up my friend who is a cripple. leaving the store i made the comment that they should be ashamed to be a business and to treat your customers like that. joe then proceeded to come outside and yell at me as i loaded the scooter in the car and then physically tried to fight my friend as shown in the pictures below. if you want this kind of service, then you should take your scooter here. i would not give them your business at all. we were also told the other screw could not be removed. we took the scooter over to JB's scooters on boulder and sunset and he removed the screw within 20 minutes. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO WHEELZEN RIDES UNLESS YOU WANT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I SEE THE LAST FEW PEOPLE REVIEWING ALSO HAD ISSUES LIKE MINE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF. PICS BELOW ARE THE OWNER TRYING TO FIGHT MY FRIEND AND ALSO HIM MAKING JACKOFF REFRENCES WHILE WE DROVE AWAY. SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT KIND OF A PERSON YOUR DEALING WITH THE ONLY GOOD THING I CAN SAY IS THE GUY WORKING THERE, I BELIEVE HIS NAME IS PRESTON, WAS PROFESSIONAL AND NICE. I'M SORRY THAT YOU WORK FOR SUCH AN ASSHOLE THOUGH.

2022 Emove Touring
Danielle L.

Jamie took great care of me from the initial first phone conversation we had to talk about purchasing all the way to providing me with a helmet to test ride the 2022 Emove Touring I was interested in when we first spoke. With this shop you either buy in cash upfront or u can go through a financing company if you don't have all the cash and want to leave the shop with a Electric scooter / bike of your choice . I went through the financing company and walked out with a $1000 Emove touring for $70 and have a plan to pay off in 90 days to not have interest be acquired on the loan which is pretty cool! The company that makes the Emove gives a 2 year warranty while when u buy from Wheelzen Rides u get a 1 year warranty with them . Super awesome !

I have stopped in this store a couple of times. Everyone I have spoken with is knowledgeable and helpful. Recently I needed a tire replace on e-scooter and they helped me out. I was pleased with the work they did. I am looking forward to shopping for my next scooter at their store.

Cut wires.

Don't go here to fix your scooter. They didn't like that they couldn't fix it so I wouldn't pay, and so they deliberately cut the wires inside my scooter that connect to my display. I will be suing them in small claims court, this is a civil matter. The owner also yelled in my ear on the phone and is a huge baby.

With our son being baptized last weekend, followed by 'real talk' with your medical specialist about the consequences of poor decisions, buffets and late nights all catching up after years of sedentary lifestyle, something needed to change. So I got a bike. The last time I used a bike regularly was in the 80's where my Tuffy took me miles away from home. And the desperate race to get home before dark and my father's whupping. I did my usual research, comparing and investigating different brands, different styles of bikes and their uses. I already had my heart set on a cyclocross or gravel bike. My buddy Gruber had a Surly that he rode 22 miles both ways to work in the dead of a Chicago winter from our apartment downtown. That sold me on the practical use of a bike that could take it under adverse conditions. I had actually looked for the right bike since. But I couldn't part ways with $3-5k on a Specialized or Trek. That was an expense I usually spared for firearms - truth talk. After my doctors appointment I made a call to the one closest to home. Giant on Blue Diamond. Spoke with Hanna and told her what I was looking for. She mentioned a couple of different models that fit the bill but what caught my attention was that one model was nearly $550 off the full price but it was the last model on the show floor. I gave it 2 weeks. And then 2 nights in a row I wake up with GI pain that kept me awake all night. I swung to the store when they opened and Pat and Hanna showed me some really cool features - 1. It was my size, 2. The tires were tubeless so there was no need to fill the tires with air - better for running over pointy things and keep on rolling, and 3. A brake system based on hydraulics. I was out of excuses. I bought it before anyone else could snap it up. Pat adjusted everything and Hanna shaved some of the seat stem after measuring - while cautioning me on the expectations and finer points of bicycling. Bottom line, I highly recommend! They're knowledgeable without being pretentious. Informative without being pushy or upselling at every opportunity. Both of them advising to spend on higher end items until I was properly broken in. Go here and ask for Pat and Hanna!
