Rented from Yellow Scooters and the first day went great. Good scooter, with cooler attached, lots of power. Beginning the 2nd day (after a full nights charge) we begin to have to plug it in all through the park. Didnt seem to want to hold a charge. 3rd day problem became worse. Had to leave the Magic Kingdom by mid day wasting most of a park ticket and a cooler of snacks by having to return to hotel. ECV was totally unreliable at this point and I called and reported it. Called again that evening and left a message about a different ECV for the park the next day. No response. Was forced to rent a Disney scooter that day at a cost of $50 and again loss of ability to take snacks and drinks due to no cooler. Called Yellow Scooters twice more about credit for time lost on their scooter. Said "Sherrie" would have to call me. Still has not happened. read more

Was extremely happy with the responsibility of this agency. They delivered on time. They picked up on time. The scooters were easy to use. They held their charge most all of the day. While the scooters were not brand-new, they were in good shape. The headlights work. The seat was very comfortable. I have no idea why some reviews banned this agency. My experience was wonderful. The order placement online was quick and easy, The delivery was scheduled for 9 am John showed up at 830 am told him we would be down shortly. Got to the pickup location John had the 2 scooters however he did not have the high back seats or canopy. His statement was that he didn't get the full order. What? How do you show up early without all items ordered. He was not very people friendly and kept griping about having to go back to get things from the warehouse that I had clearly ordered. He then goes back to the warehouse to pick up the other seats and canopy about an hour later he changes the seats and attaches the canopy's. We are now behind on our itinerary... Get to Disney and both canopy's keep falling off. Finally figure out that they are missing the bolts that hold them in place. End up calling the office and Fantasia tries to get me in touch with John to no avail he has already left for the day. Fortunately for us Fantasia saved the day and came to fix the canopy's by bringing and installing the bolts. So while there was some ups and downs with this business Fantasia was the highlight of dealing with this company. Would give 5 stars if Fantasia had been the person I was dealing with and not John. read more

Yellow Scooters saved our vacation when my son broke his foot. Great customer service, delivered right to my hotel. They were also super responsive and helpful when I needed to make a change to our return time. Would highly recommend as a no hassle way to rent a scooter for the parks. read more

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT W/ the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The amount of $$ that I wasted on this scooter, the $$ wasted on parks that I couldn't enjoy w/ it, and the aggravation that my party and I experienced cost me more than the scooter was worth when in new condition! My scooter was delivered w/out the instructional email they supposedly send out to customers. It broke down constantly the first day. The neutral lever would let the wheels lock after 10 seconds, making it impossible to push a 50lb scooter to an outlet for a person who needs it to get around. To boot, the battery indicator was faulty, never letting us know the charge amount. It had no light on it and the seat smelled like urine when it got wet. I expect someone peed on themselves when they couldn't see in the dark.... Yellow told us we weren't charging it enough or locking the battery down properly, so we charged it whenever not in use the next day. It broke down again at night & we were unable to get it charged enough before the park closed to take it back to the store. Universal instructed us to leave the key in it and said that the companies pick up defective scooters from the park. I smelled a scam & presented the key to the associate the following day who said they do not pick up scooters from the park. I asked for a replacement until we could get the scooter back & was refused. She was rude, told us that I was told I couldn't speak to a manager, then was refused to let me speak to the owner! THREE wasted vacation days with my party regretting inviting me, a defective scooter & a battery that wasn't keeping charge along w/ a battery indicator that was inaccurate. The only consolation that I was given was to have 2 cheap drink cups rented to me to use on the scooter arms as requested, after I was refused a different $20 add-on because they said they only had one left. The 3 days they wasted of 5 people's time wasn't worth $20 to them! I was able to bring that scooter back and was given a new replacement the following day w/ an apparently old battery. The indicator light worked so I kept it charged & had no further issues. I am certain this nasty associate broke some type of rule besides being rude, bc while in company of coworkers the day I exchanged scooters, she was sickeningly nice. Don't waste your money on a scooter from this company. There are plenty more scooter rentals in the area with similar prices that probably won't lend you faulty products and treat you like garbage. read more

Worst experience ever renting a mobility scooter. Over charged. Scooters very old and broke down 3 times on me. Called the owner, and was basically told to LIVE WITH IT... and that i paid cheap for the scooter, and that is the service I am getting. Forget this company. Never again. read more

The scratches were the least of my negative experience. A 24hour answering machine is great for service if the business actually checks and answers after hours not the next day. That is not helpful to the customer. The bad part of the beat up scooter was the completely bald tires that if you think about it are just going to blog down the motor/batteries more as well as riding crooked. I had such frustration already in my first 2 days consider this ...that I just wanted to get the service over with and get my vacation done rather than spending park hours playing phone tag. And "I" didn't lose the key the cheap plastic attachment holding the metal ring on your Keychain was insufficient. Consider what I did after I found the key, use the metal ring to attach it. And I was fine with being out of delivery area, I picked it up, what the problem was is the company should be professional and say "oh I charged you more for meet n greet that you're now not getting let me give that back" the customer shouldn't have to point it out to the company and then STILL to this day never hear or see anything about a refund. Its the customer service level in a town that hardly sleeps that doesn't work for this location. Its just constructive criticism as to this experience. read more

We scheduled for a scooter online and wanted an early delivery the next morning because we were going to the parks. We were given a time for delivery but then the following morning the driver was 1 hour behind schedule and told us that they were trying to fit us in. When we ordered the scooter we selected a pick-up time for 7 AM on Sunday morning because their website allowed it. Well the store doesn't open until 9 AM. It is 8:45 and the company has still not contacted us or picked up their scooter. We have email and called several times. We have to be out of our rental house by 10 AM. Poor customer service. I will never use this company again. read more

This was the worst company I have ever rented from. I had to return the scooter early and was told they couldn't help me. They had no one to pick it up. I had to bring it to their office myself. If I left it at Disney and they were assessed a fine, I would be charged that fine. I couldn't lift this scooter and had no way to get it in my car. I'm DISABLED, that's why I got the scooter!! Disney did call a Mears Taxi and I was able to get the scooter to their office just before closing. I wasn't given an adjustment for returning it early or delivering it to their office. If it was possible, I would give them 0 stars! The customer would have waited for a driver. THE CUSTOMER was told by yellow scooter office that the DRIVER WAS GONE HOME FOR THE DAY! WE WERE TOLD THAT ONCE HE MAKES THE DELIVERIES IN THE MORNING HE GOES HOME FOR THE DAY! I've been renting from competitors for years and the day before have NEVER EVER BEEN A PROBLEM! read more

Absolutely horrible company! If you could give zero stars this company would get it! Sadly, used in the past and had a great experience. This time around, two days in a row, two different scooters have died! First day, one made it about 4 hours. We had to charge it. Then it made it two hours. Got them to bring a new one for day two, after charging theirs all night. The new one seemed better at first. However, it began jumping as she drove. Three hours in, and it literally died. Would not love. Called them and got the run around. They said user error. Told us there was nothing they could do. We'd have to get it to the hotel. They were ugly to my 73 year old mother and myself. They did not care one bit that it was on them that this was ruining our trip. They tried to say shr should have ordered a better version. However I was there when she ordered this one and she spoke to them. I know that she shared that she wanted one that would make it through the park all day. They said this would make it 20 miles, today it maybe made it 1 mile. My guess is they're leaving it up to their people that rent from them to charge their items and they assume they're charged when they're not. Or they just know these are faulty and don't care either way, as they claim they cant come into the parks to fix anything (not true, buy a ticket and come in). Just a terrible business all around, huge warning Better Business Bureau will be hearing from us soon! read more

I reported the incident first thing, and I was not contacted until I had already been in the park for 2 hrs. What was I supposed to do, wait until you were ready to come to my aid? I had family come in to town and we were looking to rent a scooter for my grandmother. After some research we settled on Yellow Scooters. Everything from the seamless, user friendly online reservation/rental to the customer service on the phone was amazing. Not to mention they dropped off/picked up the scooter for the hotel! I can't express how much we are pleased with our experience, and definitely will be going to them from now on! read more

I was extremely unhappy with the service by Yellow Scooter rentals on my recent trip to Disney World, Day1: Delivered scooter to the wrong person(not me) and I had to find the person and get the scooter back. Also, the 4 wheel scooter was very large and was difficult to get on the transportation bus to and from the Disney Parks for the next 4 days. Day 4: While at Disney Hollywood Studios the front tires went flat on the scooter. I called Yellow Scooter and spoke to Vicky. First she told me that it was impossible for the tires to go flat on their scooters. I told her the tires were flat. She told me that was not possible. I told her I would send a picture, then she asked for my order number. Once she looked it up she apologized because the scooter I had in fact, has tires that have air in them. Then she told me that I couldn't get a replacement scooter because the driver had gone home. It was between 5:00 and 6:00pm and Vicky did not offer any other solution since I was straded at Hollywood Studios with no way to get around. I asked to speak to a supervisor and Vicky said he wasn't available. I asked for her to have him call me that night and I NEVER received a call from anyone. It is too bad this scooter rental was responsibly priced because the service and the flat tires made this the worst experience. I would NEVER use them again!!!!!! read more

The scooter had a number of chips, chunks missing from handles and ripped seat. There was no headlight on it to navigate at night at the Disney parks. We got an extra battery which came in handy since the battery life is short. The general experience with them was no a great one. I sent them an email and their response was they thanked me for the comments. One battery did not hold the charge. read more

If I could give them a negative star I would. Rudest and most unprofessional customer service lady I ever dealt with. I reserved a wheelchair for my father to go to Freemont street. The website asked where to deliver the chair and I entered my home address. I did not see anything on the website saying they do not deliver to residential homes and the website accepted my home address for drop off and pick up. Asked for it to be dropped of at 5 pm as we were planning to leave at 6pm. This was at 1:30pm. At 4:45pm, the lady called and informed me that they do not deliver to residential homes. She was very rude telling me I should have called instead of using their website to sign up (why have sign up on your website then?). I asked why they waited until the last minute to inform and she said she just got around to it??? I said "I already gave your company my payment information and now it sounds like I am screwed" to which she replied she would refund my money (duh) and hung up. So now we are left with hoping we can find a wheelchair down on Freemont street. Thanking for F'ing up our family's night out! read more

Just got back from Disney. I rented a scooter from Yellow Scooters for the week. I knew I would be using the scooter for entire days so I paid for an additional battery to have ready if I couldn't get one of them charged in time. I was able to use the battery that came attached to the scooter for the first two days but on the third day I needed to use the extra battery I rented. After only 45 minutes of use the battery died, quickly. I contacted the company and was told I could use the charger to do a quick charge or just to push the scooter to my car, over a mile away. Apparently the company doesn't have any type of service for situations like this. The company told me that there was a slide switch on the back cover that would release the motor and make pushing the scooter "easy". Considering I rented the scooter so I didn't have to walk and my family wasn't in a position to help and I didn't have the battery charger, I tried to push the scooter with the switch in the off position. It wasn't "easy" as the switch kept on falling back to the motor lock position and after a short while I just gave up, left the scooter parked to the side and walked back to my car. Luckily I had the original battery which came on the scooter I had used the day before and I walked it back up to scooter hoping it would have enough power to get me back to my car. I was lucky and using that battery I was able to get it back. The company was able to get a new replacement battery for the one which did not hold a charge. Again, two days later I had to use the new replacement battery. After only a hour or so this battery died quickly as well. Fortunately, I had the charger with me and only had to push the scooter a short distance to get to an outlet. I had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours to get a charge which allowed me to drive the scooter back to my car in the parking lot. I continued walking for the rest of the day since the original battery was back at my home over a hour away. The following day I left and returned home and left the scooter to be picked up. I contacted the company and asked if I could receive any type of refund on the extra rental battery since both of them were defective. At first they offered a 10% off discount on my next rental. I do not plan to be back to Disney for several years so this wasn't an option. After several additional emails in which the company admitted the first battery was bad they decided to refund 1/2 of the rental cost for the extra battery. I am always surprised at a company which doesn't consider the aggravation they cause there customers because of their inability to maintain the equipment they rent. Besides the aggravation I missed several hours or valuable time in two of the Disney attractions. I would not rent from this company again and I suggest that if you do, bring your battery charger with you and plan to push your scooter (don't worry it's easy) at some point in your rental. read more

Terrible! terrible! Business! Faulty equipment, Nasty owner, Nasty workers.. I just cant say enough bad things about this company. Made are vacation at Disney a nightmare. Will not refund monies to us. The owner should be on American Greed or British Greed if they have one. Just noticed that u replied to my review. We texted the day before because no one answered the phone for hours. Im the old guy that one of your employees wanted me to push that faulty scooter of yours all the way to the contemporary hotel. I then pushed it onto the ferry and delivered to ur driver. All this talking on the phone and texting with your employees cost me a half day at disney and almost killed me with all this pushing. I tried to resolve this with u the day before last and all i got was lectures on agreements. U acted like i was a senile old senior. Do u remember ur comment at the end of one of ur texts. "Oh well thats LIfe". No thats not life, i expected a working scooter, i expected good customer service, I expected to be treated with respect, You offered me nothing but a tab for one week use of your scooter. We found this scooter rental location by what was near our condo. We needed to rent scooters for my inlaws as they cannot walk far distance due to health issues. We did not want to fight the line in DisneyWorld so we thought this was a great option. We essentially lost a whole two days in the park because we were fighting with the scooters THE ENTIRE TIME. The first day the batteries would only last a maximum of a half hour so we would have to stop, find an outlet and charge until full. Then we would try again, they would do the same thing. They said t was supposed to last 3 hours and they lasted a maximum of 30 min. The entire day. We called and Yellow Scooters left us new batteries and chargers. The second day, one mobile scooter didn't even register the new batteries! My husband had to park the bad cart, take the bad battery to the car with the good cart, drop off that cart and bring the new battery back. The parking lots are not close! We had to sit around most of the time just waiting for batteries to charge and had to spend an extra 140 dollars to get an ECV that was luckily available in one of the parks! This PLACE IS TERRIBLE. No accommodations and barely a refund of 55 dollars when we have paid double that especially when we lost DAYS in the park. Horrible customer service. So incredibly disappointed overall. read more

This company caused our family all kinds of trouble. My mother scheduled back in October for 3 scooters to be delivered to our condo the first week of December. Our condo was not in the free delivery zone so she was charged back in October an additional $20. We were all set to go to the parks with 3 young kids eager to start their first trip to Disney. After about 30 mins of waiting my mom calls and was told that they just don't deliver that far and they had called her on her home number to tell her this (obviously, she wasn't there because she was on vacation, which is the reason they should have used her cell number instead.) We decided to go the 40 mins out of our way to get them. After arriving at the Magic Kingdom we made our way down Main Street. 1 scooter died right in front of the Crystal palace the second scooter died just across the bridge from it. My husband had to spend the rest of his day at the magic kingdom on the phone and sitting in a restaurant charging batteries so that we could get 2 of the 3 scooters back to the car. We told them to come get them the next morning. They said they would inspect the scooters and if there was a problem with the batteries then they would "consider" a refund. The manager refused to speak personally with my husband. This company ruined our day at the magic kingdom! We did not get to spend it as a family, we had drag our children quickly from place to place so that they were able to do something there with the limited time we had left after dealing with this fiasco! I highly recommend NOT using this company!! Disney trips are too expensive to waste your time dealing with junk like this! read more

The ecv scooter was at the hotel as requested. I had contacted someone the week before to get assurance that I could fit the scooter in our rented compact car. She sent me the breakdown instructions. Trying to remove the seat was next to impossible, I wound up with bruises and cuts on both hands. After much effort I got it off only to be unable to separate the back wheels/motor from the foot platform. Luckily I had been upgraded to a minivan so lifting the way too heavy unbroken down scooter into the van was possible. More cuts and bruises and a sore back. Long story short, the scooter would no longer run after about 3.5 hours. I had purchased the extra battery but left it in the car at magic kingdom in the parking lot, since we arrived late in the day. The scooter had to be pushed for a very long distance. From magic kingdom, up a ramp to the monorail and to the car way out in the parking lot. Tried the other battery, but that didn't help. No one at Yellow Scooter phone number for help. Day 1 ruined. Next morning I went to the yellow scooter, Clermont location. The girl there was helpful, but also could not get the scooter to break down or work for more than a few feet. She said it was an older scooter and gave me a newer one, 2 new batteries and a new charger. She said to tell them what had happened the next time I rent for a discount. I live in Oregon, with the problems I had, doesn't seem likely I will return. The company should have compensated me for the loss of use for 2 of the 5 days, but did not respond to my request. With the new scooter, breakdown was a breeze and it worked fine. This business was not available when I needed assistance. I called at least 4 times and got only an answering machine. I would not choose them again due to a less than satisfactory experience. read more
