My employer has a contract with this company to provide rides for some of our clients who may not have the money to tip; so very often our clients sit and wait for hours for someone to pick up the trip and give them a ride. Our client's deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. A contract fare means the driver receives a flat rate for the ride so it is easily passed over for something that may pay better. Sadly they end up waiting and waiting. I'm sure the contract they have with our company is quite large. I think if we get enough concerned citizens to speak out against this injustice, and discrimination, it may be enough to convince our employer to consider contracting with a different ztrip service provider! read more

Great Service! Contacted this company the night before to schedule EARLY morning pickup. The automated system was flawless and our driver Henry called approximately 20 minutes before arriving to check in and he arrived promptly at our scheduled time. This is the WORST service on any level that I have ever experienced in my life. Yesterday waited on a taxi for nearly an hour ended up walking the 3 miles to the app, then after canceling it they had the nerve to get an attitude and say that I never canceled it. Then today I had a doctor's appointment so I went on line 24 hours in advance to book a taxi and it never showed so I had to reschedule my doctor's appointment. It's 3 hours later and they're still messaging saying that they are trying to find a cab. TERRIBLE customer service. I'll use lyft or uber in the future if I need a taxi. read more

I had used Z trip a number of times, with few exceptions, it was a long wait. I stayed with them because of the decent and kind drivers. No more. The last time, I waited for almost 3 hours, the dispatchers played games with me when I called. There is no bus service in the evening. When the store was closing at 9PM, one of the staff took me home. Unreal. They kept checking on me because they were worried. If it was possible to give a -10 stars I would. Cheers to Fresh Market. zTrip replaced the Yellow Cab in Pensacola. Do not use them. I waited 3 hours yesterday after I used their automated booking system before I called back to inquire about my ride. They had no record of it. Rebooked a ride with a "live body" and this time received a trip number thru text message. Waited another 1.5 hours before I had to cancel due to the business I needed to go to was closing for the day. This morning I called to book a ride at 5:15am. Once again had to book thru their automated system. Waited 45 minutes before I called back this time. Again, they couldn't find the booking and once again transferred me to a "live body" who once again rebooked the trip and sent a trip number, and said dispatch was looking for a cab. Waited another 30 minutes and called back. This time the call went straight to some operator I could barely understand but ended up getting the same story. Dispatch was still looking for a cab for me. At that point I started calling other cab companies, then cancelled the trip when I found one that said they could get me one in about an hour. If this is they way this company that operates in several States does business, then they should be put out of business. read more

Today, driving home from work, a driver nearly rear ended me, continued to drive in between two lanes, then almost hit a sherriff's car. I called dispatch to report the driver and the dispatch operator was ABSOLUTELY not helpful whatsoever, borderline rude. My mind is in complete shock how this company, Lucky Cab, has higher than 2 stars. I have interacted with dozens of drivers from this company for FOUR years and have never met a single experienced driver, all of them being unprofessional to deferring degrees, also driving like maniacs. I have used Yellow Cab for years and you never can trust them to pick you up on time, or even show up at all sometimes. When they are good, they are good, when they are bad you're going to be waiting an hour or more, or walking. Tonight I called them for a ride home, and they asked if my name was John, or if I knew John, to which I said no. I asked how long I'd have to wait, and they said they aren't allowed to give estimated times. I said it was cold, I have a little dog who can't deal with the cold, and It would be a quick trip around the corner, and to please come pick us up. Mind you, I DO tip! 30 minutes later, no cab. I walked to a grocery store, carrying the dog and her bedding and food bowls ( I'm pet sitting)... I walked there because I saw yellow cabs pulling up, picking people up, and driving off. I called the cab company back from the grocery and they told me that they had people who called before I did that got picked up, and people who called AFTER I did who also got picked up, and since I moved to a different location I'd have to go back to the bottom of the waiting list. Well apparently I never LEFT the bottom of the waiting list since people who called AFTER I did were getting picked up! I ended up walking home in the dark with a shivering aged little dog. She's fine now, warmed up fed and resting by me, but I'm fuming! I am going to get Uber and Lyft apps now, or at least finding the name and number of a competitor's cab service. I wanted to support a long time local business but they've left me out in the cold one time too many, and trust me, they've left me in the cold many many times. If I'm not important enough a customer to be picked up in a timely manner, and if Yellow Cab in Pensacola thinks it's okay to leave me waiting out in the cold while they pick up people who called for a cab well after I did, then forget you Yellow Cab of Pensacola!! read more

Ztrip....worst service ever. Can't even give them one star. I called them at 10:00 am to request a pickup for a two o'clock appointment with a specialist. I waited three months for that appointment. They never picked me up. Called three times to see if they were on the way...they said they were on the way. Ztrip never showed up.Missed my appointment. So now I have to wait another three months. I complained to a manager Of ztrip...she was astonishing rude. Told me that they won't guarantee that they will pick me up at the requested time. She was very rude, no apologies. Will never use ztrip again. Word of mouth is a very powerful tool...will tell everyone about my negative experience with ztrip and its manager. I was stuck at 2am at the airport after a long day of flight delays and Yellow cab was the only company able to get me. My driver was so kind to a tired traveler and got me home. I will be calling them again for my next trip. This is an update, I set up a ride to the airport 24hrs in advance, have called 3 times already this morning and still no cab. On a beautiful Spring evening, and after a nice meal and libations at a local restaurant, I called for a cab. A Yellow Cab. As, for some odd reason, I recalled that in my many trips to other cities, one could always count on a Yellow Cab. Was I ever more wrong? I think not. I called early so that I could return to my hotel room and rest for a very early flight out of town. I was told by the Yellow Cab dispatcher that my ride would be there in 15 to 30 minutes, and if they weren't there to give them a call back for and update. I told them that I would be just inside and would be looking for their distinctive vehicle. Patiently waiting, the first 15 minutes went by, then the next 15, and 15 more...I called them back, and was told "They came and no one was there" to which I replied, "I was there waiting and watching, no Yellow Cab ever came by, "Oh" was the dull reply. Then, "we'll send you another", and my response was, "I will be the only one standing alone in front wearing a Lime Green Aloha shirt." In the meantime, I searched for another cab listing and found Lucky Cab, so I decided to get "Lucky" and called them, I told their dispatcher my situation and that Yellow Cab had already disappointed me, and that whoever got their first would get a generous tip. (With the exception of Yellow Cab, of course). Ten minutes later Lucky cab pulled up, and I hopped in for the very pleasant ride back to my hotel. Once I arrived, I received a text message from a Yellow Cab driver telling me that he was at the restaurant, to which I replied "Thank you very much, but I am already at my hotel thanks to Lucky Cab!" and "Please pass along my thanks to the dispatchers and mis-managers of Yellow Cab, as I will never use them again." His reply was, "Ok. I pass it on." If you've stuck with me, here is my advice: Never call for a Yellow Cab when in Pensacola. It's simply not worth the aggravation on an otherwise pleasant evening. read more

If you're looking for anything other than a late night bar ride from downtown, you'd have better luck chartering a helicopter to your rooftop with Yellow Cab. Simply unimpressive with response times. I called to schedule a 3:45AM pickup the day before and they were still 40+ minutes late to pick me up for the airport. Terrible! I'd have to say that the horrible wait time was lightened by the awkward stories the cabbie was telling; how people end up where they are can be very interesting. The particular cabbie who swooped me up used to be a Madame until she was busted and served some prison time. She doesn't see anything wrong with what she did and threw in a few views on politics as well. Tired, beaten and running late for my plane I was at least entertained with some heartbreak. Tisk, tisk Yellow Cab! Why let people schedule pickups if you can't keep your appointments? I Should have to call twice after you're late just to make sure I get where I'm going. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. They may not understand why the taxi business is being replaced, but they should. Had a friend stuck out in town late night recently, his phone was acting up so he couldn't use uber or Lyft. I tried to call a taxi for him, they at first refused to pick him up because he wasn't an employee at the location he was at (a fast food joint that had closed while he was there). Then I called back and said he was an employee, and they basically said "ok well we're busy so it will be a while and we have no idea when". They never sent a taxi. Not the first time I've seen something like this. Taxi companies in general (this one included) have terrible service and have said they will send a taxi and none shows up. Despite numerous calls, and after being 35 minutes late for the requested time for a ride to the airport, I was able to get my neighbors yard man to give me a lift. (Got to gate seconds before the door closed.) when I called to speak with the supervisor, his excuse was that they "suddenly got busy." I suggested that they could have called me so that I could call another cab; and then I had to ask for an apology before getting one. This was an isolated incident, but now I can't trust them any more. Perhaps had they tried to compensate me with a voucher or sincere apology, I might feel differently. For now, I can't trust them. The worst cab company in Pensacola especially the general manager of the company we had a protest against Uber Thursday and she told her drivers not to go downtown and help the scab cabs as she called us little companies it doesn't matter just because yellow has all the hospitals railroads and the port of pensacola and rather or not believe it or not but Uber is also stealing away from your company also I used to work for yellow and when a close friend of mine was killed last October into November she showed no remource for my loss only thing she cared about was getting her $$$$ I'd never work for the banana company again again!!!!!! I was really nervous about my 18 year old daughter Taking a one hour plus taxi ride to FORT WALTON airport so I called manager Raymond who found us a non-smoking female to take our daughter to the airport . He was very professional and called me back in San Diego to let me know that everything was secured and she would be picked up promptly at 11. I was concerned about the background checks they do on drivers and he allayed My fears going in to details about police background checks as well as FBI FINGERPRINTING because they have to do in depth background checks to Transport military people . I'm a 51 year old " newbee " to town. I haven't used a cab ca service in over 25 years. I've been in this town (Pensacola) for 3 days now and have used this Yellow Cab service 3 times aready. I've got to aay rhat they hqve been EXCELLANT to me. The drivers have been Extremely helpful. Theyve ALL given me good info, ( the where to's and where not's ) of this town, and have been a joy to visit with during my ride. Thwy have all gotten me from point A to point B with efficiency also. The only thing to beware of is, on the 3rd of the month, they are extremely busy. Not a bad thing, but beware, you may have to wait a little longer than you want. "Your #1 transportation service on the Gulf Coast!" That statement alone is a joke. My wife and I have been using yellow cab for over a year and my experience continues to get worse and worse the longer I keep riding with them. If I could give this company no stars I would. First off the dispatchers, every time I call they can't seem to distinguish the difference between 1200 and 12000. My address starts with 12000 and I clearly state it over the phone. What happens? "Oh I'm sorry we thought you said 1200, we will send the cab your way" after already waiting for 30 mins, now I have to wait 30 more because you cant listen. Another thing is my wife and I share a phone and of you ever want to call a cab for someone else forget about it. They won't let you, anytime you call and ask "Yes I need to set a cab up to pick up my wife" their response is always, "Sorry, she'll have to call us." The depatchers are almost as worse as the drivers. Once you get picked up you're instantly judged especially if you're a college student. I've had a handful of different drivers who tell me as soon as I enter their cab that they don't accept debit cards...I'm sorry but you have to accept debit cards because that's what your company states on their website. Then when you do find a driver who will let you use a card they get pissy because you didn't tip them. They say "We lose 5% to debit cards" I'm sorry my 7 dollar fare is making you lose roughly around $.40 cents. Now you may be thinking wow this guy is just bashing these people, but I'm not. Yes, I do have days where I get a great driver who deserves a tip, but unfortunately you rarely get to see that. Yellow cab has some serious cleaning up to do if they want to keep my company. He was a very nice guy, probably been drinking, so he was trying to get a cab. He waited 5 hours for one. He had called this company several times before walking 2-3 miles in the middle of the night after a Mardi Gras parade (lots of drunks out not being as responsible as he was). Then we called for a cab at least 4-5 times for him as he lost his phone. They just kept telling us to call back in 20 minutes to keep his service on?? This poor man was nearly in tears, he just wanted to go home to bed. This was from 1230 am to 530 am. I will never call this company for myself or anyone ever, and the cab wasn't even for me! Tried calling a cab yesterday afternoon for my husband who is the groundsman manager for a hotel company and whoever works the afternoon shift (older white man) was so rude he wouldn't send a cab out because I was calling for him, I see why they have uber taking over, I politely hung up and called an uber, My husband is a great tipper and the rep made sure they lost money for whoever was going to be his driver. Yellow Cab service has gotten to be below sub-par. I understand that that they get busy dispatching but the "service" I received tonight was the last straw. After calling for a cab and waiting for over 45 minutes, I called back to check on the status of my ride, only to find out that the dispatcher never entered me into the system! I was told by another dispatcher that she would enter my ride request but that I need to call back after 15 or 20 minutes to check on status. Well, after a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes of waiting, my cab arrived. I asked the driver why it was their policy required me to call them back every 15 to 20 minutes and he told me that the system is set up to "kick you out" after that time because people will get tired of waiting and will find another ride to wherever they are going and are not there when the driver arrives. (SO WE AS PASSENGERS HAVE TO CHECK IN WITH THEM WHILE WE WAIT FOR THEIR DRIVERS TO ARRIVE??) He even admitted that sometimes their system had major malfunctions. Don't book Tucker Transportation (aka Yellow Cab) if you want to get to your destination. My cab NEVER SHOWED UP! I called at 4:30 AM and booked the cab for 5:00 AM. At 5:10 I called to find out where my cab was. Dispatch assured me she'd get right on it. Called again at 5:15. Dispatch told me she would upgrade my call to high priority (excuse me???).
