my first call was answered at 7:50am Friday Jan 31 2025. It's been over a hour no call no show. The dispatcher answered my first call and was super nice, also said the driver will call and to make sure I answer my phone. No call no show it's 9AM and I cannot get a dispatcher on the phone. This is the most unprofessioanl cab service I have ever expirenced Not only are their cabs stinky and raggety they have a very Rude dispatcher! I called to book a trip but first i asked for an eta because this was after the first of the month. He shouted at me and said everyne is asking an eta then he sarcastically answered 1-3 hrs. I have never been treated so badly; Letting you know you just lost a good customer. I used to ride a lot but then they got worse and was undependable so I resorted to Z Trip. Called Lucky and specifically asked if they could get on base, which they responded yes. Driver goes to the wrong location, not on a base, and spends an extra 30 minutes getting to us. Took an hour after my call to get our ride. Dude shows up greasy as all get up, in a car that looks and smells like it should be in a junk yard. Very disappointed that this is one of only a few companies that can pick us up on base. read more

This is now the second time they have been utterly late in pick up times. I've called and booked a pick up well over an hour and a half (or longer). To give them sufficient time to schedule a driver. But to no avail they're late. AGAIN! Even the lady answering the phones told me to call/schedule a pick up and I'd be guaranteed the pick up time! Now I know sometimes rides might last longer than usual. But given an hour and a half or even longer to schedule this....you would think it would be sufficient time to arrange the proper pick up time. Especially when I'm using them to schedule a work ride! I also know that it's been twice they've been late...so I'm willing to give them another try to see if they can do a pick up on time with sufficient notice. read more

Driver 213 needs to take his drivers test again because he clearly has no idea how to drive. How he did not wreck into me while carelessly changing lanes is a miracle. He drive 15 miles per hour in the passing lane for god knows how long. read more

Today, driving home from work, a driver nearly rear ended me, continued to drive in between two lanes, then almost hit a sherriff's car. I called dispatch to report the driver and the dispatch operator was ABSOLUTELY not helpful whatsoever, borderline rude. My mind is in complete shock how this company, Lucky Cab, has higher than 2 stars. I have interacted with dozens of drivers from this company for FOUR years and have never met a single experienced driver, all of them being unprofessional to deferring degrees, also driving like maniacs. I resorted to Lucky cab due to an utter failure of service from Yellow Cab. The driver was courteous and arrived ten minutes earlier than promised, and he took me on the most direct route to my destination...my only reason for rating 3 stars is that this has been my only experience with the company. Should I use the company again and they provide the same level of service, then I would consider raising my rating to 4 stars. I am favorably impressed with this start up company that is challenging the "old guard" of Yellow Cab, a company that is no longer interested in good customer service (again, that's Yellow Cab with the Bad Service, NOT Lucky Cab) BTW - my driver had been out of work for two years when he was hired by Lucky Cab. He was a nice fellow, and seemed to be a hard worker, and he lost his job only because the place went out of business. I paid him double the fare. DO NOT USE THIS CAB SERVICE!!! DISHONEST SERVICE AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Had to give it a one star rating but believe me when i say it doesn't deserve even that high of one!!! Had been using this company several times a week for years, but tonight this company lost my business for good. Cab driver kept me waiting over an hour to be picked up (left me waiting in a dark area, by myself, where EVERY business here is closed). When he finally arrived, he copped an attitude about my groceries and refused to help me load them into the car. Then he insisted that i put them in the middle section of the car and proceeded to pull several of my bags behind his seat where he knew i couldn't reach them, charging me both for all of my bags and for the time i had to take loading them up (his dishonest self was running that meter BEFORE HE EVEN PULLED UP TO WHERE I WAS). When i noticed that he already had the meter running (i didn't even have half my groceries loaded at that point) he got even madder when i asked him why he had that running when i wasn't even in the car yet. When i called the company and asked to talk to the manager, the DISPATCHER CLAIMED to be the MANAGER (lie....the manager happens to be a woman, and the person i had been talking to was male), and he hung up on me TWICE. The cab driver in question meanwhile, was still running that meter, despite the fact that i no longer had anything at all in his car, and was now screaming at me and threatening to call the police on me for not "paying the fare" and calling me names the whole time and saying he "has it all on camera". Just for the record, this Lucky Cab did NOT have any notices posted anywhere about charging for handling bags (nor have any of their previous drivers charged me for them ever before) where a customer can see it, nor is there anything posted anywhere about how their drivers are allowed to be charging you just for entering the parking lot to pick someone up. To make a long story short i did end up paying him, no cops were called, and this company lost a long-time customer over this horrific, dishonest person. And i'm still sitting out here waiting on another cab company to come pick me up. Hopefully this one will be a much better service. But if you do use this company, please refuse to use cab #213, especially if its driver is an overweight, pasty-looking brown haired guy with a beard. DO NOT use the people. I had a cab driver (cab #137) almost side swipe me because he didn't want to yield in a merge lane like you're supposed to. And then they proceeded to speed up behind me real fast (after I didn't let him cut me off and come into my lane) and acted like he was going to ram the back of my vehicle. I'm just saying I wouldn't want to get a ride from someone who puts other's lives in danger because they want to drive recklessly and think that they don't have to abide by the rules like every other driver on the road. Called last night for a 5 am pickup to the airport. I told the dispatch-er that I had an early flight. I assumed that booking 12 hours in advance would be safe. At 5:05 am, no cab so I called and was told it was a "very busy morning" and they were working on it. At 5:20, Tim, my driver called and said he was 20 minutes away. At 5:36, I got a text saying the driver was there. He was not, he went to the wrong street. At 5:42, he made it to me. Got to the airport just in time to be too late to check in for my flight. I try to, whenever possible, support smaller local businesses. I will not use them again in Pensacola...ever. I just updated my Uber app. read more

I've used this taxi service multiple times over 2 months. Some of the drivers were good, polite, had a clean car, and showed up on time. Others are rude, show up late and have filthy vehicles. You have to watch out because some of them will charge an extra $5 for ur trip essentially giving themselves a tip without asking or mentioning it to you. If you're on base this is the best cab company to use even though they all suck. If you're out in town then use Uber or Lyft. read more

Don't count these guys out. Even though Uber is new to the area, it's also extremely expensive around here. I got an Uber from home (Langley and Scenic Highway) to downtown and the cost was $27.00. Later in the night, I tried Lucky Cab for a ride home and paid $23.00 for the exact same place. Uber costs $1.20 per mile and an additional $.20 in town, while a cab costs, $.50 minute in town. Cab #130 cut me off without using his blinker. So I honked. He must have not liked that because he then proceeded to not use his blinker again and to STOP in the road for absolutely no reason at all expect to annoy me or cause an accident. At this point I'm laying on my horn. He finally starts to move but only at 20 miles an hour in a 45 zone. I finally get home shaking mad at this point and I tell my parents about it. My dad was just leaving to go to work (in a different vehicle) and guess who he gets stuck behind! THE SAME CAB!! (I had partial license plate number but no cab number) my dad calls once he gets to work and tells us that the same cab didn't use his blinker AGAIN and slamed on brakes to turn into a store. Absolutely terrible. Do not use this company. Terrible customer service. Rude. And deliberately quoted me a wrong time to secure my business. I thought I'd give them a try since zTrip service was bad. Never again. Was over an hour and a half late from the time I was quoted. Every time I'd call back they kept saying a few more minutes. Then told me that they'd get the driver to call me. I receive a call from the driver who said I requested a call and what did I want. I just asked how much longer because they made me late to work. She claimed for her safety the roads were wet and she's coming as fast as she can while remaining safe. I'm pretty sure after that she deliberately went slower because it took longer than she quoted me then. Then she calls and said she accidentally passed my house and had to make the block. On the drive, she started texting so safety was definitely not an issue with her. No mask even though it said at the time I booked the ride that one was required of me. The previous rider's garbage was still in the back seat. Thankfully, this company's reputation proceeds them. Had a driver come into our RV Park doing about 25 MPH (5 MPH Limit) and when he was approached to slow down he had a wise comment and pulled out of the park. As he left he was told to slow down and he stopped his Green Lucky Cab car - got out and started shouting back at me. I told him I was going to call his company and his reply was 'Go ahead, they won't do anything." Dang he was right. I called and talked to someone who said she was the dispatcher. I told her about his speeding and attitude and simply enough - she slammed the phone down on me. I left a message for "management" to call me back and nothing. This is a private RV Park and Private property - I have advised all of our residents not to use Lucky Cab in the future and do not want them speeding through our park. read more

My boyfriend called this cab company a few days ago, a week after getting out of hospital with infection, to bring him home from Wal-Mart. The cab driver stated that he was not going to drive up in trailer park and would let him out at road. When my boyfriend tried to say something to the contrary, the driver told him that he works for himself and would charge an extra $25 if he had to drive thru trailer park and if he got mud on his tires. What an idiot!!! This cab driver needs to be fired immediately!!! The cab drivers are here to serve the public not talk crap to customers!!! He was going by cab this afternoon but cancelled because the same idiot was sent out. I heard the idiot state that my boyfriend needed to come on out to road to get his cab and to hurry because he has other customers waiting so this driver was rude today as well. I called to make a complaint and told the dispatcher that they need not send that particular driver back out ever again. read more
