The ride I had arranged prior had a urgent family matter so I needed a ride and with less than 24 hours notice. No pressure, right?! So I fire up my trusty yelp app and type in airport shuttle, looked at the highest rated service. As always, I entrusted my fellow yelpers to steer me in the right direction when I am out of town, I was not disappointed. I called and was answered (on a Saturday) by a most pleasant gentleman. Gave all my info over the phone, I also prepaid for the fare and included the tip so I did not have to worry about anything. Thank you to the reviewer who advised the old fashion carbon copy thing with the credit card, I was not interested in that floating around either. So you can prepay the fare and tip, which I suggest. I felt the price for the fare was very reasonable considering I was coming from the Milton area. I was picked up exactly when I had requested, my vehicle was clean and in good mechanical shape. My driver (I'm so sorry I can not remember his name to save my life right now) shared several very entertaining stories on our 30 min drive to the airport. Bullet points: 5 stars was earned in my view, rates very fair,on time, professionalism awesome, I felt safe the entire ride, they responded to my short notice like a 5 star company. For the company owner, thank for providing this level of service, it reflects well on you as a person. If you treat all your customers the way I was treated, your business will thrive. I would like to recommend the ability for your staff to be able to use "modern" swipe to pay technology in the car. I know that there are devices that allow even a iPhone to have that ability. Before my mom died her favorite story to tell was a story about me, at this Florida welcome center, when I was just 4 years old. One day we were traveling from my grandparents house in Louisiana (her parents home) back to our home, here in Pensacola. We lived here in Pirate'cola when I was a baby, my father was in the service here. Anyway, as the story goes, we were driving back from grandmas house about 2 and a half hours drive. Everyone wanted to stop for orange juice & I had to pee. I was 4 so orange juice was very important & I was very excited to get my orange juice. Anyway, back in those days I was a little majorette in Kindergarten. I was a very good baton twirler, had a snazzy little blue sequined one piece body suit & white cowboy boots that I wore on the field at the football game. Anyway, I was the smallest majorette with my tiny baton & tiny tiny little white cowboy boots. I was so adorable! I wore them to my grandmothers to show her how cute I was, obviously, and was still wearing my cute little white boots on the way home. So I waited & waited so excited to get my orange juice but it was taking longer than I expected to pull into the Florida Welcome Center. We pull in & I jumped out of the car, running to the bathroom to pee so I could go get my Orange Juice! But i didn't make it up the hill & peed in my little white boots. When my mom got up the hill to the entrance, I was barefoot sitting on the grass. She asked me where are your little white boots & I pointed at the trash can. lol After I peed in my little white boots, I obviously did not need them anymore. duh. Anyway, I did get my orange juice & a new pair of little white boots the next week as I was taught to never litter. Till this very day, every time I come into Pensacola & see that big Florida Welcome sign, I always remember how much I love Florida, my memories of my mother, her exquisitely untarnished love for me & the smell of fresh new white cowboy boots.
