Again no car there and we had to call multiple times to even get ahold of anyone. Once we finally got someone to answer the phone, they said it would be another 20-30 minutes before the driver would arrive. The whole point of a car service is so you don't need to wait. What a joke!

We asked for help with transportation- were told it would be about 30 minutes for pick up. I asked how much it would cost and was told it was meter based with no other details. Grateful for a ride and not expecting it to be more than $60 for a 25 minute drive we decided to wait. After 40 minutes I called to see if they were still coming and was told yes about 10-15 more minutes - 20 minutes later the driver showed up so total wait time was 1 hour NOT 30 minutes. The driver made passes over a double yellow line which did not make me feel very safe and then when we did arrive the bill was $110. I told him i felt that was too high so he called his boss who offered me a discount to pay $100 (which to me is still outrageous but apparently we had to pay the meter for his 1 hr drive to pick us up with out being told that ahead of time?) the person on the phone argued with me about the timing and said we only waited 40 minutes which is not true.. I called at 12:38, 1:08 and was picked up ay 1:40, arrived at 2:01 and was billed an outrageous amount. Being out of state, here for a funeral we have a lot going on and too many emotions to argue further. The driver and I also did not speak the same language so I didn't want to take it out on him so I paid and moved on. I hope other people see this and decide to book a different way as this does not seem ethical to me. Actually, I think I will continue to post until the company decides to make it right. Eventually, he found me. The ride took 28 minutes, and it cost $33 plus a tip. The driver did make courteous conversation, drive safely, and did not give me a low rating.

I noticed coming from the airport, I was charged $0.66 for the "Dolphin Expressway SR836 - 17th Ave. Eastbound" (standard SunPass rate) and a $2.00 "MIA Airport Surcharge."

We tipped well each time because it's so convenient and the drivers are so friendly.
