I told them I really wanted to be put under, knowing I had very long wisdom teeth roots. Dr Jamili ignored my request, used 6 year old xrays, only used Novacaine and I was in the most massive pain of my life. I kept telling him to stop. He used a hammer and wrench. It was torture. He was only able to get 2 1/2 teeth out before I made his stop. I was in so much pain for 5 days. I eventually had another oral surgeon take the remaining teeth out. I filed a medical claim but Dr. Jamali denied it saying his standard of care was fine. It was terrible. Do not got to this butcher

They offer same-day service, meaning consultation and surgery can be done all in one day, but I chose to meet with the surgeon first and schedule the procedure for a later date. Before and after the surgery, they provided clear instructions and helpful tips for recovering from having three wisdom teeth removed. I really appreciated how professional and straightforward they were--they double check your insurance and let you know upfront if you'll have any out-of-pocket costs, which was awesome. I highly recommend them. They're efficient, professional, and truly mean business.

While there were some slight hiccups during my first visit with wait time (I think it was a busy holiday season for them), the second checkup took less than an hour max including wait time and the physical doctor visit. The waiting room is clean, modern, and modest. They have a great bookshelf-full of magazines in case you don't want to exhaust the apps on your phone. Staff is efficient and down-to-business. The only real downside is the massive renovations going on outside. If you aren't a resident of Oak Park or have not visited before, currently there is a ton of construction which makes it difficult to park. I suggest parking in the public lot across the street (free for 2 hours) or have someone drop you off then pick you up.

If you're not familiar with the area, you should definitely leave early. I was slightly late due to this very issue. I was greeted warmly, but there seemed to be more questions about insurance. All insurance information had been taken care of. There was a continuous theme: money. They were already charging me for the x-ray but wanted my insurance so they could bill the insurance and reimburse me if the insurance covered it. The problem is, I would never know.......... The staff didn't seem knowledgeable or trustworthy. After paying for the cost of the 3D x-ray, she didn't verify my email address and sent my receipt to the wrong email address. I had to ask for an itemized bill because the receipt was only for the transaction and not what I paid for. The most interesting part, the visit only took 20 minutes total. Oh, and there was nothing wrong. The doctor and nurse practitioner seem fine. The doctor explained the issue but gave me nothing about what he explained. Did I mention, the expensive x-ray, they absolutely needed to diagnose my potential issue, I never saw it. I left feeling ripped off. I will never comeback here..........

She was excited to create a work of art. I'm afraid to say too much good in this review because it'll be hard to get an appt. But, seriously - she is soooo incredible. A unicorn in the industry. My tooth looks better than it has in 20 years. She didn't just say - 'ok you're done.' She asked numerous times....'how does it feel? Do you like it? Is anything bothering you?' And when I was walking out she said - 'if anything feels odd just come back in and I'll touch it up for free. I stand by my work.' I'm so impressed with this office and Dr. Kouris. Everything is high-tech. All the latest technology and tools. My only sadness is that I didn't find them years ago. But, I have them now. Thank goodness! I can't stop smiling.
