But what you do get is good food and service. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there, the staff was super nice as was what I assume to be the owner/manager who chatted with us for a bit. Though in an older building, we used to frequent this specific spot back in the day when it was a pizza shop, it's super clean, the restaurant and restroom(s). (I assume the men's is as well kept as the women's.) we were there mid Thursday afternoon and they had quite a few customers! We ordered a few rounds of raw oysters, teriyaki chicken tenders with fries, peel-n-eat shrimp, and buffalo shrimp, so quite a variety and everything tasted great! It's set up like a bar scene, though they only serve beer and wine which I can only assume has to do with the ginormous expense for a full bar liquor license and stock price threshold. The menu leans more into bar food plus some delicious extras such as raw oysters. They also have a board up displaying live music dates and such. I love these types of places, small businesses, especially ones that show so much enthusiasm will always hold a special place in my heart over corporate chains any day in spite of the cost of entry. If I had one recommendation, it would be to update the ketchup bottles. The labels either need to go or just replace the bottles altogether. Otherwise, everything was great!

I just picked up my order from Fat Boiz in McDonough, and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed…read morewith the pasta I received. The pasta is very watery, to the point that there's liquid sitting throughout the container. This is not what I expected at all, especially when I'm paying for a quality meal. I understand restaurants can have an off night, but this is honestly unacceptable to serve to a customer. I shouldn't have to drain water out of my pasta before I can even attempt to eat it. I'd appreciate it if someone could make this right, whether that means remaking the order properly or issuing a refund. I'm not trying to be difficult--I just expect the food I paid for to be prepared and served properly.

Excellent Experience at The Juicy Crab…read more I ordered the oyster platter plate, and it was everything. The oysters were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and had that rich, briny flavor you can only get when they're done right. The sides were hot, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the platter. The service was quick, the food came out piping hot, and the whole experience felt worth every penny. If you love seafood that's juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked with care, The Juicy Crab never disappoints. I'll definitely be back for more. Exceptional Service at The Juicy Crab I had another great experience at The Juicy Crab, and my waitress made it even better. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just the way I wanted. My oyster platter plate was fresh, seasoned perfectly, and served piping hot -- and she checked in at the right times without ever being overbearing. Her professionalism and great attitude really stood out. Excellent food and excellent service -- that's why I keep coming back.

As for the food, it definitely was not I normally expect from a seafood restaurant. Sauce was bland and not well seasoned. Atlanta is coming off spring break so maybe people are prepping for back to school/work next week. Our server (Darlene) was super kind and customer service friendly. She took the time to explain the best way to order so we maximized our options on side items. She checked on us a few times and brought extra lemon and butter and bind as needed. I had a Long Island ice tea. I had read the reviews prior to coming and expected a drink much stronger than what I received. My dining buddy ordered a "sneaky link" which is basically a blue mfer. She didn't think her was strong either. She order two pound of crawfish and a half pound of shrimp her sides were corn, potatoes and broccoli. I ordered a pound of crab legs and my sides were the same. ($105) The potatoes were small boiler potatoes. You could eat one potato in a full bite so if you like the potatoes, don't substitute them as they are tiny. The corn and broccoli were delicious. We both got medium spicy and I could have gotten mild. I didn't think it was overly spicy but if my nose starts running while eating a seafood bag I'm not trying to wipe my nose and eat. Ewww The place had a nice mellow R&B playlist going but again, I was here at 130ish on a Sunday afternoon. We had a 15% off coupon. The manager has to add the discount after the check is printed, so if you have the coupon be sure to make sure it's applied.

My recommendation is to Uber and then enjoy the square. I was meeting someone for lunch and this was in the middle from our destination. It had great reviews and pasta and was what I was craving. It's a small, warm and inviting little place. Service is fast and good. Menu is limited which is not a bad thing but enough variety. I absolutely loved my fettuccine. The pasta was made fresh and you could seriously taste the difference between fresh made and boxed pasta. The crème brûlée was on point and a great finish to lunch. I had plenty of left overs.
