Yarrow has amazing food. The gnocchi was insane. 10/10. I loved the view, the sweet treat, and the fish was good (but I am still getting adjusted to eating fish). The ambiance of the restaurant has a classy and casual vibe at the same time. Our server Mary had great recommendations and was so kind. Service was fast. I enjoyed spending Valentines Day at such a beautiful and cozy restaurant. I definitely recommend this spot for a date night. ORDER THE GNOCCHI!! The sweet treat was a s'mores chocolate mousse sort of concoction and it was so rich. Just what a girl needs in her life. I love a rich sweet treat. I personally could have ate the whole thing by myself.

March 2026- phenomenal. Every course was executed well and was so unexpectedly delicious for a ski lodge. Starting with the masterful gnocchi and Caesar salad with incredible croutons, followed by pork Milanese and steak with chimichurri sauce. All excellent. We are coming back for night two. And a delight to meet Chef Traci des Jardins! And the service was amazing and warm. A small slow start but it carried on with attention to detail, friendliness and humor. So impressed. The ambiance was elevated without pretense. May it continue for our sake. A precious gem.

Ordered a beet salad, meat lovers pizza and a flight of beer tastings (4 flavors) First off the Server was wonderful! Very warm and very friendly to talk with. She was always checking on me to make sure my water glass was full and how b my meal was. Super nice person!! The beet salad is "To Die For!" The dressing on this fabulous! So tasty it's addicting! The beets, candied walnuts and cheese mixed with the arugula was such a fantastic and delicious combo! I'd drive 4 hours just for this salad! The all meat pizza is delicious! The tangy tomato sauce is a very welcomed change of flavor when compared to other pizzas. The sour dough crust is a welcome change too! Very tasty with the tasty meat toppings! The beer flight I had was delicious! I liked the first one a lot! I'm not a very big drinker but I liked the first one. The stout is very delicious too with a fairly strong coffee flavor. All the beers were very yummy! Great ambiance to just hang out all day or night long passing the day drinking tasty beer and eating delicious food! Please see the pictures below and let your eyes do the feasting!!

GREAT: wings, fries, beet salad NOT GREAT: Fish and chips (they're fish sticks) chicken parm sandwich (they're chicken tenders), pizza (sure is a pretty pizza oven though) Also, the dining room is small, and too often the setting for employee drama played out in full view of customers. Maybe schedule a team meeting and hash it out there? Things don't usually improve when the employees are more self-involved than they are concerned about customers. That's not why we visit.

It's unfortunate because the ambiance was great and…read moreit's located right off a beautiful golf course, but for the prices they charge, our meal was not worth what we spent. The steak was underseasoned, overcooked, and probably the smallest portion of steak I've ever received from a restaurant. It was smaller than the veggies on the plate. The broccoli was so hard and undercooked, I couldn't stab it with my fork. Also not salted. The best thing on the plate was the twice baked potato, which is disappointing when you spend $46 on this plate. My friend's pasta was also an insanely small portion and also tasted really strange. It was a papardelle truffle pasta and the sauce tasted sweet...? Almost like a Thai curry in my opinion. If it was good, we wouldn't have minded the tiny portion but it wasn't and didn't come with a protein either. Our friend who got a burger and fries had the best meal out of all of us. The mocktails were also good. Honestly, I think this place needs to stick to pub food. That seems to be their strong suit. Service was okay. I understand they were busy. But nothing noteworthy to comment about there.

The door was a freezer door and then you walk in to the actual bar itself. This is not a bis bar but spacious enough. We walked in and were sat by the booth all the way in the front by the music artist. It was actually so cool how they had the artist who was playing a saxophone, then the guitar then he can also sing and had a good voice. My major feed back with our experience is how the service was slow. We did have a big party, but what was crazy was that there was only one bartender. Mind you there was a host where you walk in and they count how many guest are there. The other person who helped at the bar did not come in until later and I'm not even sure if she actually helped out. Anyways, all their drinks I believe were the same price. I ordered the oasis which was really refreshing and tangy which I really liked. My bf ordered the tales of bourbon which unfortunately he did not like. Even our other friend who ordered the same thing did not like the bourbon. I do think the majority of our group enjoyed their drink. I would definitely say a nice spot to try and highly recommend it.

I'll say right off, I'm giving them 4-stars since I had time to just grab one drink and a snack. I'm sure when I come back and can hang out for longer, the next review will easily bump up to the 5-star level. Firstly, this is a cool hole in the wall, very nice ambiance, and set back in a way that makes it feel a bit like a speakeasy. The decor is very stylish and atmospheric, with plenty of comfy chairs and spaces at the bar, and the staff were quite friendly. And while I'm not the biggest fan of these in here, the bar has many countertop video poker machines, should you be inclined to play. This is a full bar, so they have plenty of selections for wine, beer, and spirits. But the main attraction are their house cocktails. Only had time to try one on this visit, but that Saffron Sazerac was very interesting indeed, and definitely makes me want to swing by and try more of their menu. And should you need something to snack on, they also have a small menu of bar bites, which is just enough to hit the spot. And as for prices, I found them pretty darn reasonable, especially given this is Tahoe, we're talking about. So yeah, all said, I have been fairly impressed with Gaviota. Definitely going to keep them on my short list of drinking spots on North Shore, and I think anyone looking for a classy beverage will love it here too. Hope to swing by again soon.
