I am a Community Manager and I use Yardnique for many of the properties I manage. They have fair prices and are very easy to work with. Their professionalism and responsiveness surpass others in their industry. I would recommend them to any community looking for a landscape contractor. There have been many times when Boards want something done immediately, and I can always count on Yardnique to get the job done! read more

These people are the most inept, lazy and unprofessional people I've came across. After the growth had been ignored by their workers I asked for the area to be mowed but NOT TO BE POISONED because of our dog, he eats grass on occasion and did not want to have that as an issue. Afterrequesting that the areas shown be manicured by weedeating because it wasn't addressed prior they disregarded and did it anyway. I'm my opinion they are the worst, can't wait for someone else to take over!!! read more

I live in a neighborhood that contracts with Yardnique. I came home from a long weekend getaway to find they crew butchered my gorgeous ornamental Japanese Maple tree. This tree has lived untouched by them for 13 years, as I have personally shaped it over the years with periodic, seasonal pruning. They cut off branches more than 24" inches long. Prior to the hacking, the front branches cascaded over at least the top 2 rows of a retaining wall. I am appalled. I cannot understand why they would do this. Two of my neighbors have identical trees yet theirs were untouched. Several years ago, Yardnique did this to a 30 year old fig tree in my front year that ultimately killed it. I don't know what in the world they were thinking when butchering this tree. read more

This is the 2nd community I have lived in and Yardnique maintained. They are awful. Our lawns are torn down to the dirt due to the zero turn mowers going to fast and ripping out divits. I have no control since the HOA hired them but the work is pathetic and the laws are always brown! Cut down way to low. Our lawns are more dirt then grass. I would give 0 stars if that were possible. read more

Absolutely the worst. They are used within our HOA community. Sloppy job weed whacking often damaging property which as to be repaired.. Property including fencing, edges of houses, plants and trees. They use highly toxic weed poison causing illness in people, particularly elders in the community and a couple of dogs died. read more

Seems like they were hired by our HOA. Employees use residents' water spigots without permission nor notice, to clean their tools, and water various things. I find this unacceptable. They took my neighbor's hose, incorrectly connected it to our faucet, and left it there until my neighbor stopped me to ask if I used their hose. So inappropriate of Yardnique. Those two incidents have really disappointed me with their service. read more

After cancelling service that did not meet expectations on our lawn, they continue to bill my credit card for service that was cancelled 6 months ago. Call to the company go unanswered. Emails to the company go unanswered. Horrible to deal with. They do not perform the service they were contracted for and they continue to bill customers. Sounds like everyone is having the same issue. read more

They don't answer the phone and don't call you back if you leave a message. Such poor customer service. If they weren't contracted in my neighborhood, I would never use them. They cut down trees and leave weeds to grow as bushes. How can you be a landscaper and not know the difference? read more

My yard has more weeds than it has ever had before. I have asked the Yardinique supervisor, Shaun, on two occasions when they plan to spray lawns for weeds and he completely avoids a direct answer, saying they would be spraying beds, which is not what is needed. Many lawns in our HOA community of The Elms Of Charleston are inundated with weeds just like my lawn. The Supervisor blames our previous landscape company yet has done nothing to rectify our current weed problem, which they, Yardinique, is now responsible for. read more

One start because zero isn't an option. Savannah Georgia crew keep intentionally blowing debris on my porch even after complaining several times to the manager Greg hodges. He says he talked to his crew but they still keep doing it. I have several videos of them blowing slow near my porch when I'm outside, and as soon as I leave, they cover my porch with debris. This has been going on for months and needs to stop. They are covering my autistic children's furniture and toys with debris. Greg hodges still sends the same crew week after week intentionally leaving a mess. read more

Yard-Nique is not a skilled landscaping company. I would have fired them years ago but my HOA picked them as they were the lowest bid. I'd prefer to pay more for quality work and keeping my landscaping healthy and looking presentable. When the new board did not get rid of this company, I decided that I'd hire a professional company to trim the shrubs in the front yard and have opted out of Yard-Nique's services the last two years. It was ignored last year and they made my various sized shrubs worse. They have no clue what they are doing and butcher them. They are not uniform in size. They have killed two in the front yard and one in the back since I've lived here. This year I tried putting a sign up for them not to cut a thing as that has worked for other neighbors in the past. I'm not sure if they couldn't read English but of course they butchered more off of the two shrubs that need two to three years to re-grow from the damage done. I'm not sure what else to do to get them to stop damaging my landscaping if opting out didn't work or putting a sign up. They also use the weed wacker to cut grass where the mowers cannot get but take out all the grass so just dirt is left. I'm not sure where the hire the workers but they lack training. If you have a choice, hire another company. read more

I would give negative 1 if I could. This company is awful! They have broken numerous things In our yard over the years (HOA hired them) and just came home to this today. 1) All of the green has been cut from the top of my grass.... it is so low that I have a brown summer lawn. 2) All of the grass clippings are sprayed and blown toward my mulch. You can even see the mulch or white rocks... only grass clippings. 3) They don't know what they're doing. 4) The shrubs were suppose to be cut in April... it is now August and the shrubs are above the top window. 5) The grass is not cut level... some areas are low and some high. 6) And they don't realize that each strip is to be cut, not every other. 7) THEY ARE THE WORSE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. read more

Yardnique is the new landscaping company that began servicing our neighborhood at the Townes at Westford in Apex,NC in 2023. In this short time weeds have overtaken large areas of common green spaces and yards and the mowing and trimming is atrocious. Their so called professional crews miss more places mowing and trimming then they actually cut. Whoever supervises the crews must be asleep at the wheel or never actually at the job site to check what is being done or more appropriately not done. Their mission appears to be "speed at any cost" and not "a quality job well done". How can the owners of Yardnique not be embarrassed? I would not recommend hiring this company. Based on all these negative reviews, I feel more confident posting my own. We live in a new neighborhood with $500K to $600K homes. Unfortunately, our clubhouse area pool and perimeter fence plantings are not regularly maintained as they should be by Yardnique. As you can see in the photos, extremely tall weeds (more like trees) and overgrown grass were in the pool area plus very large weeds are in the HOA maintained area on the other side of the pool fence. The pool weeds were there most of the summer. They finally cleaned them out a couple of weeks ago. The fence area weeds are still there, despite request we sent to the HOA to have removed. They have been there all year long. Yardnique has failed to provide a level of maintenance for our HOA that is reflective of our neighborhood. I cannot recommend them. read more

Our neighborhood HOA uses this company and it is HORRIBLE. Every single week, they come in and scalp my yard. I have spoken to the workers directly, several times to please not scalp my grass and they do not care and do it anyway. Today I found a huge hole in my backyard because of their incompetence. This company does not hire people who know what they're doing or care. read more

I am a Service Manager in SWFL. They started out mowing my property with 6-7 guys and now its a crew of 3-4 guys trying to do the same amount of work in the same amount of time. Yardnique has been taking care of our homeowners association for eight months. There are weeds everywhere, the weeds grew over plants and suffocated them now we need to spend over $30,000 to replace them. Simply a great landscaper, most notably their commitment to communication. Highly recommend.

Horrible, sloppy, and lazy. They only want to blow debris on people vehicles. They are to lazy to use a broom around vehicles but quick to blow leaves and dirt on your vehicles. I would not recommend Yard-Nique to do anything that requires a payment. read more

Not a good company or service. Scalp the grass terribly. Not particular about showing up on the appointed day. Not particular about announcing unavoidable day changes. They use to be good but not anymore. Weeding is a basic part of maintenance for our neighborhood entrance. But they have failed, and let weeds, saplings and crabgrass take over our beautiful entrance. We spent a lot of time and money fixing our community's entry up but all for nothing it seems. Cannot recommend Yardnique anymore. Disgraceful. read more

Looking at the other bad reviews, it appears my experience with Yard-nique is not unique... Through my HOA, I requested at least twice to be on the 'do not prune' list. Yard-nique crew would still come in my yard and butcher the shrubs. Recently, I was home in the morning saw the crew trimming a neighbor's backyard, so I went over and spoke with Crew Supervisor Chris to not trim my yard. I told him I like to do it myself, I like the shrubs large and leave the natural areas natural. I also (for peace of mind) added 2 yellow wooden stakes at the back property to indicate 'do not trim' this yard. Marking a yard with yellow stakes is a solution for homeowners who don't want "landscaping services" in the private property yard areas. Despite my communications, Yard-nique crew and Manager Tony Gregory (who was on the property that day) butchered my shrubbery, removed tree limbs destroying natural privacy buffer, trimmed off the flowers of a blooming Abelia and left a mess on my patio and yard. When I complained through the HOA, Tony Gregory lied that nobody saw the yellow stakes (see photo please).. Yard-nique does not respect your property, have no aesthetic for trimming plants, disregard communications to not trim, run rough-shod over your plants and yard leaving an unhappy homeowner in their wake... Please check my photos of obviously marked yard with yellow stakes, gaping hole left in my bush, over-trimmed bush with not-so-lovely-now exposed view of HVAC unit, a sign in another neighbor's yard that says 'do not weed eat plants'... Spare yourself the experience and find a better landscape company! read more

Absolutely the worst landscaping service I have ever encountered ... the crews mow much too short, leaving scalping spots throughout the area - often using spayed chemicals for lawn edging, resulting in brown dead grass as the edge. I have found Yard-Nique to be extremely competitive with pricing and very reliable with their full line of services (design, install (models, homesites, common areas, monuments), maintenance, lighting, irrigation, etc.). Only once in these past almost 3 years have I needed to have a "talk" regarding their lack of weed removal in my 30+ communities and they immediately corrected their crew's oversight before my following week's site visit. Something that often took other commercial landscapers close to a month to accomplish (if at all even after repeated reminders). Needless to say, I have been impressed with Yard-Nique's responsiveness to my requests and needs as a customer. They are my PREFERRED landscaping vendor. I encourage others to give "The Boys in Orange" the opportunity to prove my 5 star rating. read more

Abysmal service quality. Do not... I repeat do not do business with this company. Hire a neighborhood teenager before you ask these so called professionals to do your yard. They can't mow or trim a yard and will destroy your property and not tell you. If you are unfortunate enough to live in a HOA that uses this company I recommend seeking legal counsel from an attorney who specializes in HOA litigation to get you out of your maintenance co tract. If you are looking at living in a neighborhood that uses them, move elsewhere. I have had them in wake forest for 2 years and have not had a single good experience. This is true for the majority of my neighbors. The only ones who are ok with the service are retirees who can't do it themselves. I have complained until I am blue I the face. They don't care.
