Amazing!!! Not a fan of fried chicken so I was avoiding Yardbird for a while. That is until I showed up 7am for a breakfast!!! Staff was super friendly and eager to show me the best possible experience! I went with their recommendation of Cowboy burrito!! What a choice. To die for!! Restaurant is actually huge although it doesn't look like it from the outside! Very lovely experience!!!
Amazing chicken and waffles. They have spiced watermelon chunks and a hot maple bourbon sauce that makes the whole thing explode with flavor. A wonderful blend of savory, sweet, and spice. It's on the pricier side but worth it imo. It's also centrally located on the strip so prices are what you'd expect. Waiter kindly moved us to a larger table when we asked. Everyone was friendly. The vibes were great
This place is located in Grand Canal Shoppes in the heart of Vegas. There is a full bar with seating and a decent-sized dining area. The staff there was very friendly, attentive and helpful. I liked that the bartender told me the gratuity was already added to my bill before giving it to me, so I did not add another full gratuity (which I have done before by accident). This restaurant serves some Cajun fare, including steak, fried chicken, ribs, salmon, jambalaya, and brisket. They also offer savory cocktails. I ordered Lewellyn's Fine Fried Chicken and got a Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade to wash it down. My food was ready really fast. It was hot, fresh, tasty, and delicious. My drink was really good too. I would recommend getting both. I really enjoyed my experience here and highly recommend checking out this small chain restaurant. I will definitely be back very soon.
Southern comfort food is not a cuisine that I eat often, so it was nice to check out Yardbird. Through their website, I was able to easily make a reservation. When I arrived, I was seated fairly quickly, within about 5 minutes. I ordered 2 main dishes and 1 side dish to share with my partner. This was more than enough food for the both of us. We couldn't finish everything because of the big portions. Crispy Fingerling Potatoes seasoned with pecorino, rosemary, and chives - these were buttery and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. A nice sharing dish. Lemon Basil Rigatoni cooked with roasted garlic cashew cream and market vegetables - creamy and savory. The lemon added a nice touch of acidity. This dish is lighter to eat than many other pasta dishes. Creamy Jambalaya Pasta with cajun cream sauce, andouille sausage, peppers, grilled chicken, and shrimp - tasted very rich because of the sauce. This dish had a mild kick of spice. I liked the smoky flavor from the sausage. For me, the biggest drawback about this restaurant is how loud it was inside as well as the lack of service. My partner and I had a difficult time hearing each other from across the table. Additionally, the staff were not attentive to us at all. One thing to keep in mind - regardless of your party size, there is an 18% gratuity automatically added to your bill, and the calculation is based on your total after tax (not an ideal situation).
Not my first time to Yard Bird, but my first time at this location. We didn't have a reservation but was able to get a table for 3 pretty quickly which was surprising with how busy it was for Sunday brunch. Service was good. We were checked in on by not only our server but the manager as well. I ordered the half fried chicken($36) and the monkey bread($16). The portions were large and more than enough to share. I did think the chicken was a bit dry. I'm used to soft and moist monkey bread, this monkey bread was definitely dry and overcooked. I don't think it is worth a trip back.
My company team and I came here for dinner, and it was such a lovely experience! I believe they booked a private room with a set menu, and I genuinely thought everything was delicious. Service was incredible despite how large of a group we were, and our waitress on our side of the table was so sweet. Food came out really quickly, and I loved chatting and eating with my co workers. I would definitely come back here again if I came with friends or family! I especially loved the short rib, salad, and pesto pasta. Those are must orders!
My partner and I had a reservation for dinner during our visit to Vegas and first impressions is that this restaurant is super LOUD. As expected though, full of customers and people walking by, it's the center of all the attention inside the The Venetian Las Vegas Hotel. It's nice to note that inside is quite the darker lighting so that was a nice tough to the vibes overall. We were seated immediately with a reservation and our orders were taken within 15 minutes or so. Staff here is pretty friendly but not anything over the top. Restaurant was super busy so it's understandable. At times, my partner and I did feel like we weren't even there. Food: Arrived pretty quick, was impressed with the presentation and how the staff explained each dish. -- Crispy Fingerling Potatoes ($15) -- Presented in a pot, this dish consist of Pecorino, Rosemary, and Chives. The potatoes were bite size, and a decent appetizer to start the meal, not too salty and not too overwhelming as well. -- Creamy Jambalaya Pasta ($38) -- Covered in Cajun Cream Sauce, Andouille Sausage, Peppers, Grilled Chicken, and shrimp, there's a bit of a spice that's in every bite, it just wasn't anything special. I had found some shrimp shells in my shrimp but it was manageable to clear out. Aside from that, portions are pretty standard so there's a plus on that front. For the price, I would choose another option. 6/10 -- Lemon Basil Rigatoni VEGAN ($28) -- Comes covered in Roasted Garlic Cashew Cream, and some vegetables, pretty opposite to the Jambalaya pasta, each bite was pretty flavorful and I thought it complimented the spicy flavor of the Jambalaya. Portions are pretty big as well but not as much as the other dish. Would order this again. 8/10 Overall, a solid restaurant with decent food, seems more of a brunch place so I'll see if my partner and I can revisit next time to try other dishes. It's quite loud to the point where I have to raise my voice quite a bit just for my partner to hear me.
We had a $65/day bfast credit for our room at the Palazzo, so we decided to use it here. We had no problem meeting the $65 credit. First of all, I ate the salmon avo toast while I waited for the chicken & waffles. The toast was very good w/ lots of fresh avo. However, it was ridiculously overpriced @ $27 w/ only one slice of bread. On the other hand, the chicken was nicely brined, fried and seasoned. The price was high @ $44, but more reasonable considering it fed two people. The bartender was cool & attentive. He made sure there were utensils in the take out bag. Regarding the ambiance, its large here w/ a Western motif. I'd return to share the chicken, but I'm not sure about the other items. The prices are high vs the portions.
The chicken n watermelon n waffles are a MUST TRY here! I would say this is one of the best I've ever had it's SO GOOD. It came with HUGE pieces of chicken. The chicken is perfectly crispy and seasoned, the waffle is soft and crunchy in all the right places, then the watermelon is the icing on top of the cake to top it all off. The Mac n cheese was pretty good, not the best I've ever had but still delicious gooey cheesiness. This was actually enough to feed 2 people so despite the price I would say it's a good value if you're sharing with someone! Definitely add the hot sauce onto the fried chicken for extra yumminess! I've heard thy have really good southern inspired cocktails here too! Service was good, our waiter was nice and attentive to the table, came back to fill our water a few times. It took awhile to get someone's attention to get our check at the end but it did get busier so understandable. Interior is really pretty. Modern elevated warm farmhouse decor. All of the plates/dishes are super cute and fit the theme. Overall, I would come here again! The chicken n watermelon n waffles are to die for!
The food was amazing, and Nicholas was a great server! He was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We shared the gravy train, mac and cheese, hash browns and the monkey bread. The portions were reasonable, and the dill ranch with the hash browns was very fresh. I also tried the watermelon sling cocktail and the fresh watermelon was very prominent, which I enjoyed. The interior is very southern and warm. I would definitely recommend checking it out!
Went to Yardbird for breakfast and the service was great. Our server was super nice and really attentive the whole time which made the experience feel welcoming. The inside is really pretty with darker lighting and nice cozy vibes. Portions here are huge. We ordered the All American breakfast and the flapjacks and both plates were massive. The food itself was pretty basic though and nothing really stood out flavor wise. It definitely leans on the heavier side so it felt like a lot for first thing in the morning. We also tried the Green Monster which was actually a really nice start to the morning and felt refreshing. The iced latte unfortunately tasted a little watered down. One thing to note is they automatically add a 12% tip to the bill.
For a family of 3, we are glad that we only got two entrees as the portions were huge! We got the St Louis ribs with a side of mashed potatoes and gluten free Chicken and waffles. This was plenty for the 3 of us. The chicken was so juicy and tender, and the ribs was so flavorful. It was a bit on the expensive side but the portions made up for it. The $$$ wine could be a bit better. Will come back again when we go back to the Sphere. read more
My family and I went here while staying at the Venetian after getting a recommendation. I had the "everything but the kitchen sink" which is a skillet with a variety of fixings and it was pretty good. My boyfriend got the cowboy burrito, but said it didn't have much flavor for being $30. But we did have mimosas which are always a hit. read more

I stopped by Yardbird Southern Table & Bar for breakfast and ordered the Flapjack Stack. The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy with lemon-zested blueberries to add a pop of flavor. It was served with a smoky bourbon maple syrup that tied everything together beautifully. If you're a pancake person, this is a must-order dish! read more
I'm just updating my previous review with a breakfast portion. We came in before our flight back home to have breakfast. Wow! It was absolutely delicious. We both got the Classic American Breakfast which each consisted of two eggs, crispy bacon, sausage, grilled tomato, hashbrowns, and toast. Let's start with the eggs. The most perfectly cooked over-easy eggs I have ever witnessed. They could have been on display at The Louvre. The bacon was a masterpiece as well. Crispy without being overcooked and perfectly flat and thick. The highlight of the whole breakfast however was the hashbrown. Perfectly browned and crispy on the outside, even the edges were perfect, with a soft fluffy middle. Best hashbrowns I've ever had. The entire portion could have been split between us, although between us we didn't leave much left behind. Overall: A fantastic breakfast experience. Will definitely hit it again when we go back. read more

Yardbird at the Venetian absolutely still lives up to the hype. I had been here years ago on a previous stay and was really hoping it would hold up, and honestly, it exceeded expectations this time around. We went for weekend brunch around 8:00 AM (Saturday/Sunday brunch), and the menu is the perfect size. Not overwhelming, but packed with incredible options! Sweet, savory, breakfast-style, and more lunch-leaning dishes. Basically: decision paralysis in the best way. Because we couldn't narrow it down (no regrets), we ordered: * Yardbird Hashbrowns (crispy, golden perfection) * Iceberg Wedge salad * Bayou Benedict * Skillet Cornbread (warm, buttery, and dangerous) * Jalapeño bacon jam deviled eggs (absolute show-stealer do not skip these) * Iced coffee and hot coffee Every single dish was outstanding. The flavors are bold, comforting, and elevated without being pretentious. Everything tasted fresh, intentional, and very much farm-to-table Southern cuisine done right. We spent about $160 including tip, which may sound high at first glance... but for the amount of food we ordered, it honestly could have fed four people. For Las Vegas brunch pricing, especially at the Venetian, it felt more than fair. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is beautiful. Yardbird has that upscale farmhouse / Southern chic vibe. Warm wood, cozy but polished, and just genuinely inviting. They had great music playing (fun mashups and mixes), which added to the energy without being overpowering. When we arrived, there were plenty of open tables. By the time we left about an hour later? Completely packed, with a line out the door waiting to be seated. That alone tells you everything you need to know. If you're looking for one of the best brunch spots in Las Vegas, especially near the Strip or inside the Venetian Hotel, Yardbird is a must. I'll absolutely be back, there's still so much on the menu I want to try. Not to mention we made friends with everyone sitting around us to see what we all were eating and give recommendations. I've been hearing good things about Yardbird, so I decided to check it out for myself. It's located on the casino level inside the Venetian, so you can also do some shopping at the Grand Canal shops if you're not too stuffed. Their spicy Bloody Mary was awesome, the granola and berry parfait was beautiful, but the star of the show was their chicken and waffles with spiced watermelon. It's a half chicken with huge portions! The service was great, and they also gave us complementary champagne for my husband's birthday! read more

Yardbird absolutely delivered. The gluten free chicken and waffles were incredible, crispy, flavorful chicken with waffles that didn't feel like an "alternative" version at all. As someone who has to hunt for good gluten free options, this was a rare Vegas win. The service was also top tier from start to finish. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun instead of rushed. Definitely one of the best meals we had on the trip and a place I'd happily come back to. read more

We tried this restaurant for the gluten free options and cocktails which did not disappoint! We made reservations and still had to wait a bit to be seated, but the service was on par the whole visit. The gluten free eggs Benedict was such a delight and splurge! The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and the deviled eggs were absolutely amazing! The cocktails were good, I didn't think they were great but can't win them all. It was a bustling spot but warm and cozy wooden vibe. Check it out, was an overall great experience! read more
Another holiday celebrated at Yardbird!! Happy Thanksgiving dinner with the family!! Located in the Venetian on the casino floor area. Not only great tasting food but no dishes for me!! This restaurant has an ambiance of upscale industrial casual. Fixtures are unique and intimate all at the same time. Our server was knowledgeable and personable. This meal consisted of ' sort of' typical turkey day dishes: gf fried chicken , Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts , chicken and waffles, and cheese and grits. Never a bad meal here! Listen, it's not the cheapest restaurant cuz it's in a very busy hotel and the food is good, chicken and waffle is amazing, you still have to go here.service is amazing. Although it's not the quietest restaurant but it's lively and during a conference, it's worse but patrons and servers do their part for a good dinner. Make a reservation so you do not have to wait. We see ppl standing for so long and walk up is not worth it. Love the restaurant. As you walk in, bar is on the left, tables all scattered around the front part of the restaurant. The back part of the restaurant has additional seatings plus a semi open kitchen and a room on the side that you can reserve out. The whole place it lively. Drinks are actually reasonably priced. Food a bit higher in price. Serving as large though and can be shared. read more
I love Yardbird. The wait is with it. Yardbird specializes in stick to your ribs food. One meal later I'm all sleepy and content. Can't be good for my cholesterol nor my waistline but it is ever so tasty! I'll sing the praises of their shrimp and grits all night long. Creamy, delicious, and that sausage! makes the whole thing divine. While not a huge pepper fan, the texture off-puts me, it was easy enough to ignore. Everything was cooked to perfection. I ordered the watermelon sling to drink and was utterly charmed to find the ice cube was a frozen watermelon! It was the gift that kept giving because as it melted instead of diluting the drink it refreshed it with every sip. Super easy to drink. Our waitress was charming and engaging. She brightened the space with every stop at the table! Which glad she did as the space also was rather dimly lit. Not sure why but the lights were turned low like I was ordering lunch at a speakeasy and not a chicken restaurant. Would highly recommend! read more

Our server was excellent and super friendly and funny. We were pretty hungry after a day of Vegas walking and wanted to try their 1/2 of a fried chicken (of course) and their Wagyu burger with egg, pork belly, cheese, sauce and pickles. The burger came with some delicious truffle parm fries that were perfectly crispy. We also ordered the roasted brussels sprouts. The fried chicken coating was absolutely delish and perfectly crispy with moist tender chicken nestled inside. That hot sauce they give you on the table was bomb good. We liked the burger but it didn't blow us away. The brussels were extra yummy. read more
My husband and I stopped by Yardbird on our first night in Vegas, and we were not disappointed. The service was great, and the food was really good. My husband ordered the pasta dish, which he enjoyed, and I had a half order of the chicken, a Caesar salad, and a side of mac n' cheese. Everything was delicious. It was a pretty busy night, but we were able to find seats at the bar, which worked perfectly for us. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely eat here again the next time we're in town. read more
We had a great time at Yardbird and it's an interesting place to dine at the Venetian. There are hints of southern flair with appetizers and entrees that have all the charm you'd expect as well as some odd offerings like tartar. The service was pretty good, and the ambiance inside helps sell its price point and vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed the food especially the short rib with the soft bread and au jus. The salmon was cooked as requested and who doesn't love fried chicken with syrup? Not bad but a side note...there is an 18% auto-gratuity added to all checks which may put off some people. It was really a really good experience especially for Mother's Day brunch , nice clean setting . Food was seasoned, great service , deviled eggs just had too much filling for my liking . We just got off the plane and our room wasn't ready yet, and we're looking for a place to get drinks and (girl) dinner that was casual and close by, and this was the place. This was one of the few bars that's had Tajín which already set the bar high for me since we just landed in Vegas. So I was happy to have a margarita with Tajín on the rim. I can't remember the drink names but they were very good and we did order another around to-go that they put in these to-go cans for you. Took a group of 6 and were able to take a table immediately despite higher crowds. Great service, great food, and an exciting atmosphere. We had a guest that needed completely gluten free options and Yardbirds was easily able to accommodate. Everything was excellent. I personally compared the gluten-free chicken and waffles to my own fried chicken, and the flavor was almost identical. Excellent job of preparing for those who need accommodations. read more

It's Friday morning in Vegas. I'm not hungover. I'm starving. I can't find anything I want to eat. Ready to give up I start walking back to my room at the Palazzo from the Venetian. On the way I noticed Yardbird was open. I love me some southern comfort food. Took a look at the menu and saw grits for breakfast. Bet. My body is ready. I ordered the sunrise bowl. It was cheesy grits with sweet corn, smoked sausage, scrambled eggs, roasted peppers and Louisiana hot sauce butter. It was phenomenal. I also ordered the monkey bread that pull apart biscuits with cinnamon sugar and Carmel glaze. Was also amazing and I don't know what I expected but it was huge. The staff was literal S tier. They made me feel like I was eating at someone's home like a welcomed guest. I will definitely come back again as the food left me feeling warm and full. What a Fun Night at Yardbird! there was 8 of us and we meet Jason at the front counter who took great care of our experience. Tracy was our waiter and he and the staff were spot on! Water glasses always full, the food options and quantity plus selection was perfect! Tracy suggested a few items and we ran with them. We started with the fried green tomatoes With bacon and cheese the BTC, so nice as an appetizer. Followed by several meals to share, The whole chicken and waffles an order of ribs, Lobster Mac and cheese and sides were blackened string beans perfect for me to spicy. Tracy came out with cloths to clean out hands and they were fun to watch. We all laughed and smiled and enjoyed a fantastic meal! read more

Yardbird -- so excited to eat at the Venetian, and this place has completely changed the chicken and waffles game. Food: The chicken and waffles were absolutely next-level! 27-hour brined and pressure-cooked chicken, paired with a sharp cheddar waffle, spiced watermelon, hot honey sauce, and bourbon maple syrup. Every element was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and elevated the dish far beyond any chicken and waffles I've had before. It was truly an unforgettable meal. Service: Andrea was fantastic! so attentive and friendly that she checked in on us so often I half-jokingly felt like she was family. Her service made the meal feel even more special. I've been here a few times now, when all the other restaurants are full try your luck here. Once we sat at the bar and once we got a table. Come hungry for brunch...I wasn't that hungry so couldn't justify getting the chicken and waffles- but man did it look good. I did however get what I can honestly say was my favorite Shrimp Caesar salad I've ever had. It has these wonderful tiny grapes that have been soaked in something that gave them a sort of cinnamon flavor (that wasn't quite it though, I couldn't put my finger on it and forgot to ask the server) and tiny pieces of thinly sliced lemon with the rind. I know grapes don't sound good on a caesar salad, but apparently that is why they call it the Little Gem Caesar Salad - trust and believe it really worked! It's a loud restaurant in the middle of a corridor of a bunch of other loud restaurants, but lively and hip. read more
So good! I made a reservation to make sure we had time before our show. We were seated quickly and we had great service all around. The place was packed with a southern home cooking vibe. We started with the deviled eggs- probably my favorite dish they were really good. For dinner I had the GF fried chicken and cheesy grits- yum- but HUGE portions. My husband got the wagyu burger. Popped in to Yardbird for a late lunch with our crew while in town for a wrestling tournament. The cocktails are always on point, charcuterie was well appointed and a nice mix of flavors. Shrimp & grits was 10/10 (my meal) my hubby ordered the ribs and they were just 'ok' - it seemed like it was one of those situations where they tried to do too much to them...they seemed to have some sort of breading, fried, and then smoked so they had a strange texture and came out kinda tough. Hubby ate them, didn't flag to the server and moved on w his day as otherwise all was great. That said, as a foodie - I felt the feedback was noteworthy both for the business and for others checking out the menu and trying to narrow down your choices on the menu. We've had many a visit here before, mostly for brunch which is also always on point. Will definitely keep it on the running list while in LV! read more
After walking around for hours a friend and I got hungry and were looking for somewhere to sit down and share a late lunch. The lunch menu looked promising and we decided to share what seemed like an appetizer medley. Drinks and food did come out fast. But nothing was memorable. Everything looked great but was just average. Waiter left with my card for an extended period of time and said they accidentally used my card for the wrong order but then corrected it. So I'll have to watch my credit card statement for the next few days which is a bummer. I prefer the restaurants that let me check out directly at the table to avoid anything like that. read more

Wouldn't get this again - would have tried some other appetizers instead. Nashville hot chicken This might be the best fried chicken I've ever had. After I landed in Vegas, I met my friends at yardbird for brunch. They got sat around 1130am but brunch had ended at 11am on a Friday. We sat in their private room " The Cellar" which is the room on the left after you walk into the restaurant. It was very cozy with a beautiful southern charm. Inside the room you'll see a bourbon wall and never before released picture from the estate of John Wayne. Once I arrived, I ordered a tito's and grapefruit to start my day in Vegas! A lot of my friends were sipping on espresso martinis. They all needed a pick me up after their very early flight to Vegas. The froth looked fantastic. For lunch I ordered their shrimp and grits. Not going to lie, I was a little bummed we had missed brunch but I was actually really happy with my dish! Their shrimp and grits was full of flavor- Cheesy grits, sweet corn, medley of peppers, Louisiana hot sauce, blackened large shrimp and smoky sausage. So delicious! My friend ordered their fried chicken and waffles, this could have been split by 2-3 people, depending on how hungry you are, it was massive!! It was a brunch situation. Loved the loungy southern vibe in here when we first walked in. The bar area had bar tables/chairs and cool leather couches to sit, drink and chill. But we headed to eat in the dining area. Great options and I was excited to order. Our waitress, Paige (from Texas-loved her, loved her accent) was lovely in helping us pick out things from the menu. Enjoyed everything I ate and drank! The deviled eggs were delightful and surprisingly did not have a strong mayo taste but rather light on mayo and tasted more mustard. Lewellyn's Fine Friend Chicken, I was afraid was too much, but it was hard not to eat it all. The crispiness of the skin was great with a slight honey taste. The chicken was very tender, even the chicken breast. All time favorite must order, is the Mac and Cheese!!! It's so amazing!! The Sippin' on Trouble drink was good! Slightly sweet. It really wasn't that spicy. A child should be able to handle it
What time does lunch end? I want to make sure I get in for the burger and it's not offered at dinner.
I'm not sure but I would be sure to get there before 2pm for sure.
Do they have peanut butter pie? I saw it mentioned in a review, but didn't see it on the menu. Taking my husband here for his birthday, and peanut butter is his absolute favorite!

Yes they take reservations for 4 and I'd strongly encourage you make them. Not sure about New Year's Day. But I imagine since it's Vegas they are.
Can I eat it if I wait without making a reservation?
Yes, they except walkins or you may order from the bar. Unknown if it is the same menu or smaller bar menu. It is highly recommended to make a reservation if possible, especially depending on the size of your party.
