    Poke Nachos

Stopped in for a drink before a movie and I loved the Draft BlackBerry pear by Bücha - it's a hard kombucha brewed in San Diego using organic, California grown blackberries and bartlett pears from local farms. Staff were quick to help me at the bar and they were friendly too. The space was crowded - it was a Friday night and there was a sports game on.

Had HH here a little while back. Yardhouse HH is always a good deal! They offer most of their appetizers and all of their pizzas at 50%! The place was busy when we arrived, around 5pm, but our party of 5 was able to be seated right at a booth. Our server was very friendly and he checked up on us often. We were able to place our food orders using the tablets on the table, and our food was brought out quickly, one or two at a time, and just minutes apart. Their cheeseburger sliders are simple, but the beef is flavored so well, it's so good! Comes with fries you can upgrade for onion rings or sweet potato fries. Poke nachos and chicken nachos is also a fam favorite and you get so much. YH definitely has a lively, social, busy atmosphere. Check it out!

YARDHOUSE @ MISSION VALLEY Parking is super easy since they have a gigantic lot. It's located in Mission Valley Mall, so the parking is shared with places like Outback Steakhouse, a bunch of shopping centers, and Target. We parked right behind Target, which was only about a couple minutes' walk to Yard House. This was my very first time going to Yard House and I kid you not their happy hour deal is insane. They have half off a huge list of appetizers Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM and again after 10 PM to closing. They also offer select drinks at half off. We got there around 5:30 PM and were seated pretty quickly. The space itself has more of a darker vibe, which honestly makes it really nice for a date night. It's also a big sports bar, but the layout is super beautiful and well-designed. There were definitely a lot of families there too, so it feels casual and welcoming overall. I ordered the poke nachos, which come with tuna and crispy wonton chips. I opted out of cilantro and green onions. My friends got the chicken lettuce wraps, Brussels sprouts, and chicken tenders with fries. The portions were way bigger than I expected, it honestly felt like I ordered a full entrée. Unfortunately, my food didn't come out for about 20 minutes after my friends had already gotten theirs. However, the manager and our server were super kind and apologetic. They even took it off my bill because it had been brought to the wrong table. They handled the situation really well, which I appreciated. The poke nachos were so delicious, everything tasted super fresh, the wonton chips were perfectly crispy, and I loved the sweet sauce they drizzled on top. Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by Yard House during happy hour. After 6 PM, it did seem like the crowd died down a bit, but happy hour is definitely the move if you can make it. The environment is great, the deals are amazing, and it's a solid spot to check out.

I had an absolutely amazing experience here. Our server Stephanie was the best and honestly made my experience here even better. We were seated immediately and came just in time for happy hour - which is half off appetizers. We decided to order a bunch of apps and split between us. We got the sliders, poke nachos, tenders, Brussels sprouts, and chicken lettuce wraps. For the price ($8-$10) for each item it was so worth the money. The portions were such a great size and the food tasted amazing! I really liked the sliders and chicken lettuce wraps. Nothing was dry and the flavor was amazing. Overall I would highly recommend coming for happy hour. The vibes of the restaurant were amazing and I absolutely loved our server Stephanie so huge shout out to her! Definitely coming again

Was popping off during happy hour (weekdays 3-6pm) on a Thursday! There was a short wait to get seated but shout out to Luis & Brisa for putting our name down first. Miko was an excellent server. Very attentive and friendly even amidst the crowd. The food was incredible. Came out hot and outstandingly prepared. We loved the sliders, Korean boneless wings, and carnivore pizza!!!

There was a lull in which we haven't visited this place in about 8+ years and now that we've come back to reexperience Yardhouse it's safe to say we've never been happier coming back! The Poke Nachos are still just as delicious as I remembered them years ago and it is hard to beat that level of delicious consistency! We've been back for happy hour for about 5 times now in the last 2 months so that should speak for itself The ambience is dim but welcoming and relaxing yet not too obnoxiously loud, the servers are always so sweet, courteous, professional, warm and welcoming, diligent in filling water and 1/2 yard orders We've ordered the Blackened Sashimi, calamari, truffle mushroom pizza (10/10), poke nachos (10/10), The Sliders (they come with a side of fries but our little one likes mac and Cheese so we sub the fries for that) ,buffalo chicken pizza We always get the 1/2 yard blackberry kombucha it's delicious but proceed with caution it's a creeper haha **You can always wait in line through the website just in case The beauty of happy hour here is eating family style and it doesn't break the bank and you leave full ! Next time I want to try the carnivore pizza and the Brussel sprouts for sure Trust me and try this place out to unwind or even as a little outing afterwork! No regrets

Came here on Valentine's Day and, as expected, it was pretty busy. Even without a reservation, the hostesses were attentive and stayed on top of the waitlist -- we were seated within about 35 minutes, which wasn't bad at all considering the crowd. This was our first time at the Mission Valley location and overall it was a great experience. The food was good overall. The only downside was the rice and beans that came with the taco flight -- they didn't taste very fresh. Also, one of our plates was still dirty when we're getting sat but I'm sure it was unintentional.. Aside from that, everything else was great. Our server was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. My only complaint would be that we'd wish we had a cleaner table and clean plates.

Zoe was our waitress and she was Great! First off, we sat in her and it was closed but she was happy to take our order. The Blue cheese burger was to Die for!! Amazing as well Zoe gave us a recommendation and she was spot on!! Will be back

Yard House has the best Happy Hour prices Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm. The food is 1/2 off, $2.00 off on Draft beers, wine & cocktails etc. We enjoyed the following happy hour appetizers and rate them 4.5/5 stars: *Poke Nachos *Burger sliders *calamari We visited the Mission Valley location and looking forward to their new location at Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista since this is closer to me. We were happy with our service. Give this place a try! Happy New Year :)

Because every restaurant and every meal tells a story. In a complimentary way, just wanted to acknowledge Yard House in mission valley for their vibe, large portions, service, and selection of American classics. So filling and satisfying from the cobb salad, to the chicken wings, and fish & chips. I hope that you will have a great food experience at the Yard House.

I lovee it here. The food always hits. Never do I not order the poke nachos. That aioli sauce is to die for and my fav is the Korean ribeye steak. Soooo good and they always cook it just how I ask and like it. The burgers are delicious too. My mom had ordered the seafood pasta and it was pretty good as well. It can get pretty loud for ambiance but it's kind of like a sports bar so it's to be expected. The wait can be a little long on busy nights but that just means it's popular. They also seat for big crowds and is able to split the bill in many ways which I lovee. Always good vibes and a great experience when I come.

always a pleasure to come back to yard house! Their happy hour is amazing!!!! I got the same dishes I got last time because they're just that good! Our service today wasn't too good unfortunately but we still had a great time!! Can't wait to go back!

The first Yard House I dined at was in DTLA downtown LA, next to the Crypto Arena formerly the Staples Center. I liked it then and it like here in Mission Valley, San Diego. Plenty of free parking in the lot is a major plus. While the Yard House's claim of fame is the array of beer selection, that's not why I like it. The many TV monitors, the variety of foods ranging from bad to the bone bar food, to food porn and healthier options is why I like it. If I can watch one of my favorite college or professional teams play and have a descent meal and drink ins clean place with great service, I'm thrilled. Have dined here for almost a couple of years. Almost everything I've ordered from salads, appetizers, pizzas and wine were all good and have repeat ordered: the ahi poke, the blackened ahi sashimi, Salmon with salad, Brussel sprouts, Truffled mushroom pizza have been my repeat orders worth mentioning. I have sent back some foods for being subpar ie being overly fried or overly salty. If you can drop in during HH=happy hours, some of these are half price and that means you scored!! It would better if HH was offered on Saturdays too. It's not a dive but not a fancy place either. I especially like that it's clean, casual and sports bar lounge vibe where a solo diner or a group of diners including kids are welcome. Every time I've visited, the staff from the hostess, wait staff and servers have been helpful, nice and accommodating. Recommend

Now the SERVICE??? It's a HARD NO. We've done reservations, we've done walk ins, we've called ahead.. it does not matter.. they will BS in service and timing. Over all, service is GARBAGE. But this ONE specific experience, I'd like to share was service from HELLLLLLLL! I promise you. So a friend of mine whom is vegan, was visiting from Oahu and I had been telling her for a while that I want to take to this spot! So boom, our schedules finally align and my sister and I are hella hyping the spot up, like "yea, it's fire ! You gon love it!" Right? Ok so boom by the time we meet each other in the parking lot, it's roughly 5 something. There isn't a lot of cars in the parking lot and it's usually packed. So we're like "BET, it's bout to be smooth!" WRONG! Some get inside and see at least 3 open tables and two tiny table that just needed to be cleared. So me and my sis are like dope finally we come and it ain't busy af! Go to host and tell her party of 3, no res. She's like oh I'm sorry but the wait is going to be at least 20 mins. We hungry and my homegirl leaves back to Oahu in like two days. So we like it's fine, put us down. She takes my number and we wait outside right? So we sittin waiting.. I look down at my phone and it's been 40 mins and I still haven't received a "table ready" text. So I go inside and ask how much longer it's going to be. She's like oh, it's been ready, we can seat you. HUHHHHHHH? So you just seen us sitting outside waiting and didn't bother to send a text or take two steps to grab us??? Mind you, there's STILL open tables that were open wh n we first pulled up. So we're seated and it's about TWENTY MINS minimum, before we get a server, the girl that was "helping" us, moving slower than a sloth on life support's name was Francesca. So she comes and at this point our stomachs are damn near on reserve! And we already knew what we wanted to eat so we didn't need any menus. So she takes our orders, COMES BACK TO t mins later and asks us our orders AGAIN!!!!!! This gotta be a joke!!!?! So now you're playing with our time and trying to be funny! Our food literally comes out about 10/15 mins apart from each other. Did I mention this place was not busy at this time? And she was moving EXTREMELY SLOW? And it started to feel real intentional. Drinks came out separately and in between dished that came out super far apart in timing. Now it's time for the check. I ask for the check and some boxes bc we already know at this lint she's about to take her sweet time. Sure enough I watch her help two other tables, make eye contact with me and walk away. Sure enough I have to wave her down to get the check and some boxes. When I say their customer service is sub-par, that really an overstatement. I've never been there and got even at least some MID service. Except Valentine's Day, the lady was super sweet. But other than that, Only good things i have to say are about the food itself. Talk about embarrassing yourself by trying to hype this spot up to your vegan friend .. and we get the experience from hell

Saturday night after a show at the theater down the street, we were walking along Park and decided that was the night! It was almost 9 o'clock when we came into the charming house-turned-restaurant and asked if it was too late to get a table. We were assured it was the perfect time and seated right away. Our lovely server, Melissa, offered us expert guidance on the menu. We went with her suggestion of the roasted mushroom appetizer and were floored by them. I wouldn't expect to be so stunned by mushrooms of all things (I can only think of one other time and beer batter was involved then) but they're wonderfully seasoned and have unexpected crunchy bits. We completely cleaned the plate, scooping up all the spaghetti squash accompaniment. Our mains were also delicious, a fava bean and a lamb entree with cabbage and lentils as the sides. Melissa delivered extra injera without us even asking, and gave us the excellent tip as we headed out to add our leftovers to a pan of scrambled eggs. We did so the next morning, and ate them with our crisped up leftover injera, a very tasty cap to our experience with Muzita!
