First time visiting Yard House and it didn't disappoint! Our waitress was on point. She even suggested some dishes due to it being my first time there. I went with one of her suggestions...the Mac & Cheese. It was delicious! It has bacon, chicken, 3 types of mushrooms, parmesan and truffle oil in it! And my Midnight Sangria was strong and PERFECT! My friends loved their dishes as well. P.S. I tried a bit of my friend's Jambalaya. It was spicy but flavorful. Although Yard House is a chain, their food and drinks usually don't disappoint, except the few times they ran out of the dry dock smh. If I'm here for a full meal, I usually get the ahi tuna sandwich with truffle fries. If I'm here for happy hour, I always make sure we order the ahi tuna app. Okay, I just really like ahi tuna. I also really like truffle, hence my other go to is their truffle burger. The atmosphere is sports chic, if that's a thing. There are TVs everywhere, and all day Monday happy hour during football season. Though the seats and lighting is still pretty "formal" as in you can still bring a date here. Usually, I abhor all chain restaurants (for obvious reasons), but I was taken to Yard House by my cousins, so I wanted to keep an open mind. Yes, you're going to wait (sometimes an hour plus) if you come in for dinner on the weekend. That said, you can often find a seat in the bar to enjoy a half yard while you wait. After imbibing said half yard, our group got seated. Despite the large menu, the jambalaya looked intriguing. I asked the waitress about the level of spice and she said it was up there in terms of heat; I ordered it right away. When it arrived I was pleased to see a pair of jumbo (like U-12) prawns sitting on top of the noodles. I'll give credit where credit is due, the waitress hit it right on head, it was spicy. Happy hour junkie - Went to Yard House for a happy hour gathering with old coworkers and some friends. We arrived at 5:30 and it wasn't too busy yet! Note that happy hour ends at 6! So you have to get your order in quickly. The happy hour menu has a lot of different options. More so of certain dollars off of a drink rather than a specialty price. The Yard House does have happy hour special pricing on appetizers as well. For example, a martini was $3 off regular price. So for happy hour, my martini was $9.25 instead of $12.25. On to the food. We got some poke nachos because poke is SO in right now and we love it. The nachos however, tasted VERY fishy. I mean what can you expect it IS a bar but I was slightly disappointed. We also ordered a Spicy Tuna Roll which came in a rather large form. It's like one roll blown up to size 200%. The roll had great flavors but I was not a fan of how much edamame was on the bottom, OVERLOAD. Next time, I will know to get more bar / happy hour type food. But I am glad I tried their sushi options because I was curious! Service was decent. We had a group of 10 people and we always had water, drinks were filled, no complaints. The waitress even had all of our tabs pre-split which is so nice! The hostess staff is great and attentive. They were able to seat us right away. Atmosphere is loud, especially after 6pm when everyone gathers. The place is dark, we used our phone flashlight to read the menus. First time here at this location in the Denver Tech Center amongst a sea of restaurants/retail shopping. The whole place felt like an intimate night club: darkly lit with modern art lining the walls and fireplaces. I was impressed because we had a party of 9 and we were able to be seated without reservations in less than 15 min. The service was very accommodating and for a big table our waitress made sure we were taken care of with refilled waters and just checking in. The beer menu was huge accommodating just about every kind of ale a brewery snob could want. I especially appreciated the dark beer selection for the winter temperatures. As for the food I had a stir-fry lo mein style seafood pasta complete with plenty of shrimp, lobster claws, crab, spinach, and other veggies. This was heavy, but well worth it if you're starving. They also piled on the seafood, which was nice and the price considering the lobster was very reasonable. This will definitely be bookmarked if I return to the DTC. read more

My partner and I stopped by for lunch and a beer at the Park Meadows,CO location during a busy day before Christmas and checked in at the front desk. We noticed a couple of seats at the bar were vacant as well as a couple of High Top tables so we asked if we could sit there and avoid having to wait for a table. The hostess said yes, so we proceeded over to one of the tables. We sat there awhile and looked through the electronic menu. After about 5 minutes, one of the wait staff came over and told us to vacate the space and that we were not allowed to sit there. I explained to the waiter what the hostess said, and he said please leave. So, on the way out, I told the hostess to get mor organized, and we left and will not be returning, we ended up walking across the street to White Chocolate, got right in, and had a great meal there. I went with the blackened tuna tataki... cooked perfectly and really, really good. My friend ordered mac and cheese with chicken... this was an upgraded, adult version... big and delicious. He also had cheese curds.... now, after living in Wisconsin I know cheese curds... they were spot on... however, the sauce was a little weird. It was served with two sauces... one was a spicy sweet red sauce and the second was a ranch (ish) with a hint of cocktail sauce??? My suggestion... replace it with just ranch... I have this location 3 stars, wet we visits often. We dine here for convenience and variety. My baby girls really enjoy the hummus, guacamole, and edamame. We enjoy the beer variety and the rotation if local and seasonal beers. And the servers seem to usually know about most beers, surprising for a corporate restaurant group. My problem with Yard House is that very other time we go they have issues. I'm not sure if the servers are not typing in all of the mods or if it's the kitchen not reading the tIckets? But the food comes out wrong every other visit. On one occasion we waited an hour for our entrees and we had two hungry and cranky babies. Was not a pleasant experience. The manager did come over without being prompted to and tried to make amends. On another occasion, a host tried to seat us in a freeway area where hot food and drinks travel, when there were literally 15 open tables not in the traffic area of servers. As a Result, when I visit I just tell the host or hostess where I want to sit in how many menus I want. I'm done being nice. I just want what I want. I'd love to give them more stars, but with your inconsistencies and bad seating practices, I just can't do that. It's clear that lots of training is needed at this location, something that the management should look into. None of this is rocket science. It literally boils down to people not being trained or being held accountable, that I blame on management. read more

My friend and I visited Yardhouse on a whim while down visiting Ikea, and I'm so glad that we did! We were both starving and went a little crazy on the appetizers and I have no regrets. Our waitress was at our table just the right amount and before we knew it, we had buffalo cauliflower and chips and queso on the table. The chips and queso were...unexpected, and not in a good way, but my friend enjoyed them much more than I did. They had a strange, salty kick that didn't quite gel with my palette. How.Eve.Er. The buffalo cauliflower is to die for. It is the best buffalo cauliflower I've ever had, and that's saying something considering that I basically am just searching the world for the perfect one. These are crispy, air-friend, white trees of utter perfection. We ordered one, and then ordered another, just so we could have more. That's how good they were. Our burgers were delicious; dripping with grease, topped freshly and paired with truffle fries. It was a beautiful, glutenous experience and I REGRET NONE OF IT. We (4 girls in total) went for happy hour with 1/2 off specific appetizers and $2 off drinks. - Moscow mule. It was really good (also a first). Not too strong on the alcohol and the taste was well balanced. - For appetizers we started off with the spinach cheese dip. Delicious, but it made my stomach hurt a bit (I'm Asian and a bit lactose intolerant, but it was worth every bite). - Poke nachos. They were good. I wish there had been a bit more sauce for the leftover chips. - Pork lumpia. I love pork lumpia. Unfortunately I was not a fan of the ones at Yard House. The wrap was a bit dense (not as crispy and fluffy). The meat was not as juicy. The sauces didn't go too well with it. One friend who likes to take picture of food wasn't fond of the presentation of the dish, so she added lettuce from the lettuce wraps to make it prettier. - Lettuce wraps. Not sure what was in them, but it was good. I felt very healthy eating them. - Fried calamari. Sorry I made a mistake. This was more disappointing than the lumpia. This was my first visit to this particular Yard House and the experience was very good. We have a Yard House in Greenville, SC, but my experience there has been hit or miss. This Yard House was very accommodating, they gave us several tables near the bar. Our server, Jacob, was on point and handled our large party easily. My co-workers and I were hosting a Happy Hour for our customers with drinks and appetizers and the experience was great. I particular enjoyed the Guacamole and Egg Rolls. The Guacamole had a great fresh taste, the chips weren't up to the level of the Guac, but it was still a great dish. The Deviled Eggs were good, but they came fresh out of the fridge so they were a bit firm. For those partaking, I think the bar service was on point. All I can say is they kept me in all the Coke Zero Sugars I could drink. read more

Went to the yardhouse with a group of 45 last night and had a good experience. They accommodated us and even found additional seating when 5 more people arrived than we had planned for. They assigned us multiple waitresses and allowed for us to all have individual checks. Food was good, I stuck with bar food and beers but some of the others ordered off the main menu. The only complaint I had was that our waitresses weren't familiar with the beer menu. Small issue, but it goes along way to have your staff educated on what your concept is. We ordered the Korean boneless chicken wings from the appetizer menu. The chicken bites were little bombs of spicy, yet sweet nuggets, and the garlic was robust but not overpowering. The dipping sauce was addictive-- lightly bleu cheese creamy and delicious! I'm going to start out by reminding people thinking about coming here that it's under the same parent company as Olive Garden. If you love Olive Garden you will think Yard House is really good! If you think Olive Garden is a step below ramen noodles, go next door to White Chocolate Grill for some real food. It's all relative to where your personal tastes lie. It has a massive menu, likely a LOT of pre-prepared (frozen) food but I can't confirm that. Think Applebee's but better quality and more expensive. I had pizza and it definitely 100% was frozen because it tasted exactly like Trader Joe's frozen pizza. I don't think they adjusted cooking time for elevation because the cheese was still rubbery- not melted enough. The flavor wasn't terrible, just bad texture which is half of the pizza battle. My husband had the fried chicken and he wasn't impressed either. We both had a house beer, the house honey and house Pilsner. Both super mediocre and generic. This would probably be a good place to drink because they have every beer you could like on tap. The real reason my review is soooo low is because my server did not want to be there. She was rude when we asked her questions, really short with us, she even down sold us instead of up-selling us on food. Overall a painfully mediocre experience. read more

The service was EXCEPTIONALLY slooow. It took 18 minutes to take our order and another 37 minutes to get our food. There were only two of us and we ordered a burger and salad. We had to ask for our food after the couple who sat down after us were served long before us. We also had to ask for the bill, then we had to ask for the credit card to be closed out. Going forward, we will wait until YardHouse is back to full service, appropriately staffed with no covid protocals before returning. Same with the Ranch Salad which was lettuce, tomato, corn, cheese, radish, and mixed in a ranch dressing, only mediocre. The restaurant is large and noisy. Over 100 beer on tap, plenty of TVs, and a vast menu for just about anyone, you can't go wrong coming here for any occasion. I usually order the rib eye and shrimp and it is prepared delicious everytime. The beers are great but there are also plenty of other drinks (cocktails, martinis, wine and sake) for your liking and I definitely recommend trying any of them. Service have been good for the most part and with a huge selection of items, you can be sure to find something to come back for more. Tip: recommend to come in groups and for special occasions.
