We were told where the waiting area was and proceeded there. The service I had asked for took only 40 minutes. We were very pleased with the dealership and the friendly and courteous people working there. We put a deposit down on the car to hold it. Colten was prompt with communications as to the status of the order. They gave us a very fair trade-in value on our car with no 'low-ball' back and forth crap. When the new Corolla did come in he did a complete and lengthy orientation of the car's technology with us. The business manager, Kelly, was so pleasant and was not in any way unpleasant or overbearing in trying to up sell extended warranties. When she presented the extended warranty options we told her we would think on it, and she told us that we had until the end of the 3 year, 36000 mile factory warranty to decide, and that was it. No pressure! The buying experience with Magness Toyota was excellent. Colten is a personable, friendly salesman who knows his product, and Kelly was so helpful and friendly. I have bought many new and used vehicles, and the Magness experience was the best by far!

    Extremely Disappointed -- Unethical Sales Practices…read more If I could give negative stars, I would. I had a signed contract on a Ford Raptor truck they took in on trade this past Thursday, along with an extended warranty. Despite having a fully executed agreement, they sold the vehicle out from under me overnight. I tried to leave a deposit last night to secure the purchase and even pleaded with them to take payment to avoid exactly this scenario. They refused, assuring me--via text--that the truck was mine. I arranged shipping and made plans for full payment first thing this morning. When I called to finalize the payment, I was told the general manager had sold the vehicle. I had spent hours the previous day with the sales manager discussing the trade, reviewing photos, confirming warranty details, providing my driver's license, and arranging logistics. The vehicle file was in their finance and insurance office with my name and documents clearly marked. No one returned my calls. No one gave me the courtesy of a heads-up. They simply sold the truck without honoring our agreement or even informing me. This was not just disappointing--it was unethical and unprofessional. I would caution anyone doing business here to be extremely careful.

Fast forward to today and I find out while selling this Jeep, it had a front end collision with structural damage, and it is now on the car fax. These guys are thieves and the true definition of used car salesmen. Stay away from this place

I found a Mach-E Premium in their inventory that had all the features I wanted, even though it wasn't my preferred color. I reached out to Lance Watt and Stacy King, and they quickly provided a transparent out-the-door (OTD) price. After comparing offers with several local dealerships, I decided to move forward with Clay Maxey. When I let them know my travel plans, Stacy had the car fully charged and ready upon my arrival on February 20th. I performed a quick inspection, and everything checked out perfectly. The entire process was smooth and efficient -- I was in and out of the dealership in about an hour. Best of all, they didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't want or need. A few weeks later, when I had an issue with the window tint, I contacted Lance and Stacy. They asked me to find a local tint shop, get it redone, and send them the invoice so they could cover the cost. Their willingness to stand behind the vehicle even after the sale was impressive. I only wish I lived closer, as I'm confident they would have helped resolve a current paint issue I'm dealing with (which has now been escalated to Ford). I highly recommend shopping outside your home state when buying a vehicle -- you might find a better deal, just like I did. Clay Maxey Ford, especially Lance and Stacy, made the entire experience outstanding. Their support before, during, and after the sale has been exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

We reached out to Lance to see if the dealership could help address these issues, but never received a response. Based on our initial interaction, we trusted that this was an honorable business that would stand behind what they sell, but that hasn't been our experience. I wish we would have read the reviews before coming here! Now we see why they only rate 2.2 When a vehicle develops significant problems so soon after purchase, customers deserve support and accountability. I hope the dealership will reconsider and take steps to make this right.
