There's a doggie park, pool, exercise room, free wi-fi, laundry, clean and spacious restrooms throughout the park, new and clean picnic tables & outdoor fireplace. The facility is VERY clean and well kept. Every site is spacious and far apart from neighbors. Yanks is located 49 miles south of Monterey and 69 miles north of Paso Robles. We stayed for about 3 months with my husband, dog and son. Very clean, nice pads, and the laundry rooms were SO clean as well as the pool and hot tub. 2 of the workers that work outside of the office were so helpful and friendly. My only complaint is there is nothing near but I didn't mind it. Definitely would come back to stay read more

This is our second time here a goid place to stop over to rest and relax, the staff is top notch very friendly and polite. We enjoy the amenities like the pool unfortunately the spa closed due to COVID rules but the showers are awesome very clean and roomy the local restaurant s are very good. Absolutely hands down a beautiful RV park. Staff is awesome, very helpful with anything you need. We visited nearby Monterey, Carmel and Hearst Castle. Nice facilities including a small fitness room. The only downside is the wind. Cooking outside is nearly impossible and the wind was so strong it broke the door hitches. You can't use awning nor store outdoor furniture outside. Great rv resort!! We loved how clean the park was with a 100 ft all concrete spot. The lovely rosemary plants smell so nice. We came here last minute and they were very accommodating. We saved a large chunk of money deciding to come here instead of wine country rv. I can also see why the park was pretty full all week unlike cava robles that was empty all week because it's extremely expensive. It was also closer by 64 miles to big sur! Y'all are doing it right. Also Want to thank the friendly guy who showed us to our spot, He loved the Roush truck. read more

This happens to be one of the nicest parks I have stayed at. Nice large paved sites, clean facilities, friendly staff and way easy to get into! It will be even better when the museum is completed. The only downside is out of the parks control as greenfield is famous for its windy afternoons in the summer. But a hidden gem in the area. read more

I would give this resort a six star if I could. They have thought of every detail and cleanliness is unsurpassed. Additional bathroom/tiled showers are nicer then most residential homes. They offer a pool, hot tub, workout room, bikes to borrow, 2 dog parks, play areas, etc. They even take you to your designated camping spot. Very, very organized. Not much in the area, but you can drive to Monterey, Pinnacles National Park, etc. for day trips. Caretaker actually drove around the blew the leaves/bark back into the landscape. read more

This RV resort is top notch. Bathrooms and laundry room are immaculate. The grounds are well maintained. The sites are spacious with cement pads. It is windy here so you don't spend much time outside. We went to Monterey and both entrances of The Pinnacles. Highly recommend this resort. read more

First time at Yanks Rv resort this weekend! We checked in late on Friday night. After hours checkin, was a breeze. Park is super clean and landscaping is well kept. We had a back in space, love how the landscaping in between each space makes it seem bigger and a bit more private. Definitely not pack on each other like most parks I've been too. The cement pads are great, but could be a tad bit bigger. The pool area is very nice and clean, but wish it had some better shade like umbrellas or trees around. Can't beat the price! read more

I have stayed here several times in the past few years in my travel trailer with my parents. The sites are all very well maintained and huge spots to park your vehicle and rig. The staff is incredibly accommodating! We arrived Friday and wanted to leave late on Sunday so that we could stop by a few more wineries before heading out . They were able to let us stay until 3pm since no one was scheduled to use our spot! They even't blocked it out to make sure! My only recommendation about this place would be to setup the club house to be used by guests to hang out, play cards, etc. It's extremely windy there and if you don't have a huge rig, it would be nice to have a place to hang out! Love this place! We stayed for 2 weeks when we had just started our full-time RV adventure. The staff are exceptional, the grounds are very well kept. The pool, hot tub, gym, showers and laundry are top notch. Great location- Monterey, pinnacles, big sur ... oh the the places you'll see. :) Just keep in mind the wind can pick up on the afternoons so keep your awnings in if you plan to come back to your site late. read more

We loved our stay at Yanks. We didn't experience the wind issues that some people complained about. We didn't meet any of the staff but over the phone the lady was very helpful before I booked. We stayed in site H17 which was close to the entrance in a back-in site. The hot tub and pool were great and the bathrooms were the best were very clean and nice. The price($52.64 out the door) was 30%-40% cheaper than other places we've stayed at that we're this nice. The wifi was good enough for browsing and messaging. There is nothing to walk to but we still enjoyed staying at Yanks! We will be back for sure! read more

We would have rated this place a 5 Star except for a major issue we had with the staff member guiding us into space B-1 with his golf cart. After our minor accident for incorrectly guiding us into the space with a U turn (instead of taking us down and back up the proper way) we incorrectly followed this untrained individual into our space. With the U turn and "gutter" type high curb we bucked the back rack and punched our fiberglass on our 5th Wheel. Initially the manager promised my husband that they would cover the costs, two days later the owner rescinded the offer to over our repair. We recognize our own driver error in following this "staff" with an ill advised way into the space. Thank God our insurance will cover the repair. If we would have simply been guided correctly this place would otherwise given this well designed and maintained park a 5 star review. Sad the experience we had here. Our advice be cautious of any one guiding you to a space, in this case he admitted he never guided anyone into this space and we suffered that consequence of not stopping before entering the space. read more

Was registered with a group of 30 to stay here. Called a week prior, explained I have a minivan and a SUV tent to attach to the hatchback. I was told tents are not allowed, it gets too windy. OK, that's understandable. I also asked if their pedestals had 110 power as I do not have a 30 or 50 amp hook-up. I was told yes. I drove 3 hrs, went to the office to register, received my information, went back to my minivan to drive to my spot, the Mgr came out to tell me I couldn't stay as I was not "fully self contained". ( I have a fridge, hose for running water, electrical cord & porta potty. I bought specialty bags that empty down the toilet.) I explained my previous conversation and saw nothing on the website stating anything about "fully self contained". She said "it's there". I just looked under each category and still didn't see it. I did see....... "Our facilities are designed to accommodate all RV sizes from motorhomes and fifth wheels to campervans and tent trailers." Not all campervans and tent trailers are fully self contained! I was refunded my money, minus a $2 "processing fee". read more

We enjoyed this RV Park. We arrived late so we didn't get to enjoy it for very long. Top notch amenities and grounds. Paved sites, clean and spacious bathrooms and showers. There is also a nice dog park. It's gated and our late arrival went smoothe. The weather was nice while we were here in early November. I've read that it can get windy here, so keep that in mind. This is a beautiful place. The amenities are fabulous. I probably won't stay here again for only a couple of reasons. The spaces are pull through, landscaped, and there are a lot of them. But they are small. The other thing is (and it's not the fault of the Resort) is that there is a wind starting in the afternoon that is so strong that I felt that barbecuing would not be safe. We were here for three days and all three days we had that wind. Gentle in the morning and getting stronger as the day progressed. Asking around, the wind thing happens more days than not. I like to cook out, so it wasn't something I can just ignore. Other than that, the place was beautiful, clean, wonderfully decorated, and quiet. read more

I'm a bit late leaving my review on the RV Resort, but I have to say this was one of the nicest RV Resorts I've stayed at. Upon check in, the gal in the front office was extremely friendly and helpful! (Dee) she got us checked in quicklu and we were escorted to our spot by Tim. The Spots are paved and level. Long and wide. We had a 40 ft towing a truck. We fit with lots of room to spare!! The grounds are impeccable. You see staff always cleaning and trimming bushes etc. (Tim was amazing.) The bathrooms were immaculate! Nicer then mine at home. The dog parks were always clean and it's so nice to have two to choose from!. Our dogs loved them. The pool and fire place sitting area were a nice surprise. So very welcoming. We were there over Thanksgiving week 2021 with a large group. The staff was so accommodating they allowed us to use their club house which was amazing!! I have nothing but great things to say about Yanks! I can't wait until they build their Air Museum!!! read more

The first thing you need to know about the Yanks RV resort is THE WIND. It starts at sun-up, ends after sun-down, and roars across the place non-stop. Forget using the BBQ, or an awing, or reading at the picnic tables, or pretty much anything outside the RVs. The shower facilities, laundry* room, pool, and hot tub are well-kept. *Laundry room has ***NO*** change machine, so have plenty of quarters on hand. Yanks is a great idea, but without planting dozens and dozens of trees as a wind-block this will never be anything but the punchline to a joke. I liked it here, but hoped for better. read more

This place is a first class RV resort, first time here but we've yet to find anything we don't like about it. Sunny days, a bit windy in the afternoon. Bring your own propane fire ring as there are no fire pits. Has a nice pool and exercise room with treadmill, incumbent bike, elliptical and a weight machine. Nice charcoal grills at each site. We would definitely come here again. Very spacious sites on concrete, most all are pull throughs. read more

To Yanks RV park owner - this is definitely one of the nicest RV parks we've ever stayed in. Most notably the spacious sites and over all maintenance of the landscaping and grounds. The only reason ww marked four stars and not five is because of accessibility to the facilities showers and bathrooms during prime time in the morning. The entire bathroom and shower along with laundry facility was shut down throughout the mornings most days during our stay, which left people the option of using the single bathroom located near the pool. The showers in that facility did not get much more than lukewarm. There was a line of people waiting at the bathroom stall. OUTSTANDING HOSPITALITY! Every single person we encountered at Yank's was extremely polite, helpful and very accommodating from making our reservations all the way thru checkout. The park is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very easy access from the 101 freeway with many pull thru sites. All RV pads fully concreted and very clean. Very nice grass areas for kids to play and even an awesome dog park. The pool and spa area was very clean and they even provided floats for the kids in the pool. The restrooms and showers were modern and extremely clean. We've stayed at many RV resorts all thru California and I truly can not say enough about the exceptional staff here at Yank's RV Resort and how accommodating they all were... this RV resort will definitely be our new go to resort. read more

Best dog venue ever. Beautiful grass, fenced dog park with benches and dog wash tubs available. The dog wash was $2 for 4 minutes. Seems pricey to me. I agree with others that this is one of the best RV parks we visited. Lights near hookup and street lights made me feel safe. 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. Never enough. But very clean. I see they have added sites and another laundry facility that isn't opened yet. But still not enough machines. read more

This is an amazing park with beautiful landscaping, PRIVATE bathrooms and BIG, clean showers with excellent water pressure that are kept up with LOVE. Frances and Sylvia are incredibly personable housekeepers who truly care about their work -- and the visitors. LOVE them!! The grounds are so well-kept with beautiful stands of flowers. The amenities are awesome -- pool, hot tub, lovely outdoor fireplace and seating area. Our pup loved the two dog parks (she passed on the dog wash -- this time). We didn't use the laundry, clubhouse area or fitness room -- this time. ;) Jodi, the Manager, is so welcoming and invested that I thought she was an owner. The office staff are all lovely and accommodating; Julia patiently helped me get important documents printed. There are two comfy chairs in front of the fireplace to sit and chill out. Great rv park with clean, spacious sites, nice restrooms and beautiful views. However, despite every review mentioning the wind I still underestimated it. This is not a park that would be good to sit outside and play cards or even bbq. The wind was so strong we never even set up our outside stuff. Walking through the park you don't see anyone sitting outside. If you want a relaxing spot to stay inside your coach this is a great place. We took a tour with Behind the scenes wine tours which was excellent. She even picks up and drops off at the rv park so even if you don't have a tow vehicle it is super convenient. This would be a good stop on the way to Big Sur. read more

This RV Park is a great stop on the central coast Hwy-101. The park Hosts and Support Staff do a great job helping to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The facility is top notch with immaculate restroom/shower facilities, nice pool facility, and grounds. It has pull through cement pads, full services, with propane available on site.
