Absolute perfect place for us! I love that it is gated. The camp host was so nice, my kiddo loved her. Nice and quiet in our opinion despite being right by the airport. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. The entire camp site was well maintained. You can turn on the furnace which heats up the shower areas really well. Washers and dryers on site was a plus. Dog friendly. We will definitely return when we visit back home again.

The site is beautiful but Rosalie is SOO rude and unhelpful. I would give this place 4 stars but being forced to speak with Rosalie in order to get a reservation is the worst. She is so mean and just absolutely unpleasant to work with. I really wish that they would look at bringing someone on with better customer service skills and someone that knows how to talk to/treat people. Outside of Rosalie, the camp host is lovely - so welcoming and friendly. The location is next to an airport and golf course but still beautiful!

This RV park definitely needs it's own listing and should not be combined with the golf course at Monterey Pines. They are definitely two different things. You enter thru the golf entrance and the lush green grasses but drive around it to the RV park. We have stayed here a couple of times in the past. The bathrooms are spotless. The laundry is well taken care of and there's even a grill onsite. The sites vary from nice 40' sites to much smaller sites. Trees are abundant but can make satellite reception a big pain. Availability of these sites is online and there is an 800# to book the sites. We knew from past experience that we wanted a 40' back-in because those sites were on the south side with open skies for the satellite TV reception. After checking several times a day for a 40' site to become available, one finally was open. I called and made reservations for 3 nights for that specific site. However, that didn't mean my reservation was honored. About an hour out of arriving I received a call from the office indicating she was moving us because we weren't 40' and someone (after us) needed that site! What?? We were given a much, much smaller site and our credit card had already been charged!!! It was a weekend and you can imagine how difficult getting another spot at the beach in California would be over the weekend --- impossible. So, we jack knifed into the site given us -- probably the most difficult site we've ever pulled into. Upon checking in, prepare yourself for a lecture of the rules. We're all used to rules but this was a little ridiculous. Once away from office staff, we found the camp host super nice. She was friendly and helpful. Maintenance staff was also friendly. We do like the park. The location is fabulous but not so sure we would trust office staff to honor our booking in the future.

Nice spots, very clean and welcoming staff! Definitely coming back Odd locations for the electrical hook ups and water( they are opposite the boundary sound wall into the neighboring space)

Most are back-in sites; there are 2 pull-through sites. All with full hook-ups W/E/S

Monterey Pines RV Park is a lovely place to camp for eligible patrons (see their website). The office is located at the golf course, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rosalie Flores is in charge of the RV park reservations and she is especially well informed and customer service oriented. The majority of sites are back in with level-is concrete pads. There are 2 pull-through sites. All sites have full hookups with W/E/S included. Restrooms are well maintained, clean, and well stocked. There is a large shower stall with a bench and grab bars, although another grab bar along the long wall to the 'dry' changing area is needed. Prices are reasonable and full hook-ups available. We really enjoyed our stay here, and will return again soon!

Then these two started screaming obscenities again for a few minutes hr raced up the hill in his truck, she jumped and they sped away. I did NOT sleep the rest of the night. I was terrified it was going to happen again. The next morning I went to the office to complain about the day before. She told me they were only here 6 days and were leaving today. I did not fall off a turnip truck. There's no way they were there only 6 days. They had decking, storage boxes is the front and sides of their huge fifth wheel. Do not stay here. It is well kept for the most part & the owner is doing his best (their outdoor maintenance guy fell ill with cancer recently). The weekends fill up. You're 10 min from the beach & the valley has beautiful views. There is wine tasting in Carmel Valley Village which is very close, and a great organic farmers market open daily. The showers are clean but push button, this is the only drawback (most rigs I've seen would have their own).

Beautiful Yurt Stay with Great Location…read more Our family spent a week in Big Sur staying in cabins, but there was virtually no cell phone reception, which made it impossible for me to work. Since I had to work three days of the week, we chose to stay at Marina Dunes RV Park in a yurt -- and it was even nicer than expected! The yurt was very clean and comfortable, and the bed was great -- we slept so well. Staff were friendly, check-in was easy, and the bathrooms (a short walk away) were cleaned daily and well-maintained. Even though it's close to the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1), it was surprisingly quiet. The location is perfect for exploring Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur. There's a beautiful trail over the dunes that takes you right to the ocean, and just down the street is a state beach entrance and parking lot -- we even rode our bikes there! ‍ The drive from here to Big Sur is absolutely breathtaking and so worth it. Cell reception was excellent for T-Mobile (four bars most of the time), and if you need full 5G, just head up the street to Walmart. We loved it so much we booked another two-week stay later this year, and this time we'll be bringing our RV. Highly recommend!

We were staying in Monterey, so it was about a 25 min drive to get there, we arrived before 11am. We parked before the park entrance along Highway 1 where there were NO signs saying "No parking at any time" THIS IS IMPORTANT because as we were walking towards the entrance, there was a parking enforcement officer giving tickets to all the other cars parked where the signs were clearly posted closer to the entrance. So make sure you pay attention! There is parking inside the park too for only $10. Once inside there were park rangers helping you with questions and guiding you on deciding which trails to go on, which was very nice and convenient! We took a picture of the map and choose to do the Cypress Grove, and the Sea Lion Point Trails. We only had about 3 hrs to hang out at the park, so those two were perfect easy hikes and roughly about 2.5 miles if you do both loops. We got spectacular views everywhere, you could hear the Sea Lions and see so many beautiful birds flying around. Wish we would've brought binoculars, so bring some with you if you remember. We can't wait to come back another time and do a full day of hiking because there are so many other trails! The park and restrooms were clean and well kept too, it's definitely a must visit once in your lifetime at least!!

This review is for the RV Park. 3 &1/2 stars…read more RV Park offers full hook-up but is basically a gravel parking lot. The sites aren't quite level so make sure you have leveling blocks. The spaces are also fairly tight. We could clearly hear our neighbors inside their RV's while we were in ours. Event: '25 Monterey County Fair, Opening Night Main Stage…read moreAct: Steel Pulse (reggae). I've been several times to the Fairgrounds, but this was my 1st attending the annual fair. It didn't disappoint. I mean walking thru these hallowed grounds, one is reminded of the remarkable history of this venue. The legendary 1967 International Monterey Pops Festival featuring Janis Joplin & Jimi Hendrix. All the great Jazz legends thru the years at the annual running Jazz fest. Not to leave out all the epic Reggae performances at the Cali Roots Festival each year. Jaw-dropping history in short. I came to see a favorite reggae group Steel Pulse. Celebrating their 50th Anniversary as a group, they were fresh off a gig in Spain at the ginormous Rototom Festival. Still sounded great, playing a crisp 90 min. set. And all for a very reasonable fair entrance fee of $16, a relative bargain. And they had a nice, large crowd show for opening night & Steel Pulse on a Thursday. I stopped smoking years ago, but felt like I got a nice contact high from all the...umm "leaf burning" during the concert. Are those clouds Martha? No Dear, not weather clouds, lol. And plenty of delicious if not healthy fair food and merchandise to appeal to a broad range of tastes; albeit pricey for the food, which is pretty standard for most fairs. And it's deceptively big inside, covering at least 2-3 longish blocks I'd guess end-to-end. Rides for the riders too. The main entertainment stage is set up to the right of the main entrance, but signage isn't good on this. If your familiar with the annual Cali Roots Fest held every year, you'll def. be familiar with the venue and the "Bowl" stage area. The weather is very pleasant in Monterey and much cooler than summer fairs in other inland cities, a big plus for this event. Slight drawbacks are parking ha$$les, low overhead jets frequently buzzing the area, not enough bathrooms, uneven footing in the grassy areas + limited lighting at night. So best to keep your alcohol consumption in check in this regard, so you don't end up faceplanting on your way out. This fair & venue are overall winners. Check it.

Moss landing is an old fishing town, very small, abut very historical and interesting to walk around. The ocean beach is walking distance from the campground. I will return to this place, very safe and very secluded. Nice clean laundry room, landscaping is beautiful, location is in a very secluded area in the farming community. Very tight spots, you are really close to your neighbor. But that's OK, this is a place you stay at, and go out during the day to see the sites around the area. There is no stores or restaurants in the area. Only one deli (which is really good but only open to 3pm). So you will need to have food and supply with you.
