Most of the scents are too sweet for my taste, but I love the Aromatherapy shower gels and foaming soaps. Every few weeks the prices are right and that's the time to strike. Yesterday I had a BOGO offer and wanted to get two shower gels. I had the offer on my phone, and when I got up to the counter I managed to lose the email and it was going to take a couple minutes to find it again (I'm not the most screen-adept user). The cashier saw what happened, and said "It will take forever to get that offer back with our signal. I'll just give it to you." Well done.

Because my wife loves all kinds of smells, soaps, mist sprays, lotions, etc., she always drags me to B&BW during mall visits, so I've slowly becoming accustomed to the nauseating lemon-hibiscus-mimosa-ocean-breeze scents that assault you upon entering. This is kind of huge for me because I can barley stand the candle aisle at Target. Beyond all that, the employees are pleasant although checkout is annoying, especially if there's a line. And definitely go for the sales -- there's always a sale.

I stopped in while putting together Christmas boxes for my out-of-town family and was blown away by how easy they made it to shop small in one place. I was able to find all local products without hopping from store to store including honey, candles, baker's chocolate candies, magnets, t-shirts, and so many other amazing Nebraska-made items. Everything is thoughtfully curated, beautifully displayed, and genuinely high quality. The shop itself is adorable and welcoming, and it feels really good knowing that every purchase supports local makers and businesses. It's the perfect one-stop shop for gifts that actually feel meaningful and unique (not just filler items). If you're sending care packages, building gift boxes, or just want to support Omaha-made products, this place is a no-brainer. I'll absolutely be back not just for the holidays, but year-round.

Just like all Five Belows, they have everything from home decor, clothing, office supplies, toys/collectibles, makeup, electronics, and more. Our top favorite thing to pick up here are the chips, candy, and cat toys. One thing I'll say about this location specifically is that if you are seeing a movie at the Westroads AMC, it is a nice place to shop for sneak-in-able candy LOL It is basically a higher end version of a dollar store - which is great for little items you're not expecting to last forever. Aside from candy, Five Below is a great place for things you don't need to last forever, like dorm decor, cheap kids toys, and pet items since those are things that will inevitably get destroyed - and you won't be mad, since you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. Most recently, we had just been at Hot Topic in Westroads, before heading to Five Below. Hot Topic had a Squishamallow of Pascal from Tangled, and it was about $25. That's a bit expensive for me for a fun little plush. But lo and behold, Five Below had a similar one that was about 3/4 the size of the Hot Topic one (for $6!) So if you want a little shopping trip for some cute, fun items (or candy to sneak into a movie at AMC) definitely pop into this Five Below to give it a try.

Every item and experience we have had has been excellent. We are from the west coast where these types of stores are everywhere and the Next Millennium is top notch. Unfortunately, my most recent visit will be the reason I won't be returning. I went in to purchase a new gem ring and some stones, and after checking out, I got in line for a tarot card reading. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes. During that time, I noticed every other customer being helped without issue. I was also the only African American customer there. When it was finally my turn, the reader immediately asked me to show proof of payment. Customers are required to pay beforehand which I had already done and I didn't see her ask anyone else for a receipt. The request felt targeted, and the energy shifted from that moment on. I ultimately felt uncomfortable enough to ask for a refund. While my past visits were positive, this experience left me feeling singled out and unwelcome. Because of that, I will not be returning to this location.
