I went ahead & went shopping at the Phipps Plaza when I returned back to Atlanta. While I was in Atlanta, I got a miss call/ voice message from Anna apologizing for the lack of follow up. She stated she went on vacation & thought her team had handled my request, yet they were waiting on Anna to return to personally assist me. No harm, no foul. The phone call was appreciative & I would definitely return to shop in-store upon my next trip to the Mall.

Save yourself a trip, unfortunately they have a few rows of Halloween merchandise, but nothing like the commercials. You can find a better selection at your local CVS. I will give kudos to the nice sales staff that tried to help me find some fake spiders. They don't have any. But, they did make the effort to check for me. The merchandise available was a low price, but so was the quality. So, I won't be checking back there. Shame on you Five Below for advertising all of these things that you do not have in your stores. THIS IS A FIRSTHAND ACCOUNT of my shopping trip to the Yves Delorme in Bethesda, MD on Old Georgetown Road. From INSIDE THE STORE, I purchased some bath towels and bed linens. I WAS STANDING AT THE STORE CASH REGISTER when the sales clerk explained that they did not have enough stock on the bath towels to fill my order. I purchased the available 3 towels and gave approval to the sales clerk to have the outstanding towels shipped UPS to me. Several weeks later and after the return period expired with the company, I was told that YVES DELORME was unable to get the remaining items so they just deleted the order on the backordered items. I explained that I never used the towels but they refused to accept a return. It was a horrible experience and compounded by the actions of YELP staff on this review. Deleting my review only fuel suspicions that Yelp is more concerned about their bottom line, then having accurate and honest reviews about local businesses.

I paid $96 for three packs of woodless colored pencils for their rich colors and their claim that they last longer than wood pencils. The product's claim although not stating specifically, suggests they are a more durable product than wood colored pencils. This helped to justify their cost. When my students started using them they were easily breaking compromising their long lasting claim and making them cost prohibitive. When I took them back the management said they will not issue a return because they were used. The questiion of how can they break if they aren't used was met with a reiteration of the store policy - we don't take back used items. I noted to the manager that the claim on the back of the package states that they last longer than wooden pencil. He looked at me with a straight face and stated that doesn't mean they don't break easily. And if I had asked him before buying them he would have told me that they break easily. I wondered how I was to ask a question about a problem that I didn't know existed? The customer service was so irrational and combative response that I wasn't able to believe that all the Plaza (now Blick) stores adhered to it. So I went to another Plaza store and indeed I was met with a much more understanding, reasonable and statisfactory response. The manager in this store understood the problem, agreed with it and issued me store credit. Vola! Problem solved and sanity restored Plaza, and I understand now Blick, have a strick return policy. I understand this. However, when the policy becomes dogma and reason is defied it is no fun to shop at this particular Plaza/Blick Art Supply store. I do not recommend it and will be going elsewhere for my art supplies.
