The second time I went, again, it was because the other salon I tried to go to was completely packed. Meanwhile, this salon was empty again. I told the nail lady that I had to be out by a certain time. She was working on my manicure and the nail polish kept splitting when drying. She thought it was because I didn't wash my hands so I washed again and she tried again and it split again (literally looked like pink zebra stripes). This tells me their products were not quality! Red flag. I didn't want to keep wasting time so I had her do my pedicure. There wasn't any more time to try my nails again after the pedi, so I went to checkout. They charged me full price as if a manicure was done! I said that doesn't seem right, since it wasn't my fault the nail polish did that and I told them I would do them the favor and return in a few days for them to finish the job! Days later I returned and, once again (this was the THIRD time) the polish split on my nails. It was ridiculous at that point and a complete waste of MY time. I said just give me something that works and they changed a few things and it finally didn't split but the manicure was not neat at all. There were air bubbles and an uneven application. I had them done on a Friday; I didn't go out or do anything that day and Saturday I was out of the house all day. Come Sunday, only two days later, my nails are already peeling. I do not recommend this salon and will neither return.

I'll start first with the booking experience, this part is 100% done by the website and schedule is managed by the owner. Manicurists do not manage or have any control over the schedule. Owner is not there from what I saw, and they do not accept walk-ins. I made a scheduling mistake and Ada was able to move me around with little issue (which was greatly appreciated). Next, let's talk location, location, location.. the salon is in Luna Suites which is a space shared by a number of salon suites. Easy to find the room, getting to the bathroom was so awkward. I was told to walk out the door and in the next one.. I was not told this would take me outside the building so I walked all the way around the building looking for the bathroom ‍... once in the suite there is no precaution for Covid at all. I'm not overly sensitive about this but I found it interesting that the chairs were completely on top of each other. There were two clients including myself and two technicians and it felt crowded; while I understand there are two more technicians I cannot imagine how cramped it would be with everyone there and all busy with clients. Experience was bitter sweet... best pedicure results I've ever had. The technician took tremendous care to provide a top notch pedicure. I will be back for this experience. The manicure unfortunately left much to be desired. I was told they were making them thick to prevent breaking, I never said I had an issue with them breaking so I found this comment odd but ok... results were not good. Almond shaped but so lumpy, and the tip of one finger had a tiny chip the same day. I wanted to give it a few days before reviewing and glad I did... I noticed one of my nails getting a little dark towards the tip... well low and behold the polish had peeled back and had I not gotten to this sooner I may be dealing with a nail fungus.... Ugh.. not only do I now have one nail with no polish but I also need to trim the tip in order to avoid this potential fungus... not happy about this at all... I was already unimpressed a few days ago, and scheduled a mani/Pedi at another salon... now I'm only disheartened that I didn't schedule that appointment sooner. Now I'll have a chipped tip and uneven nail with no polish for 5 more days... In summary, prices are low for a reason. Techs are very nice, but if you're expecting a top notch gel manicure... keep looking.
