We have been going a little over a year now and my kids love it. The instructors are great, my kids have really bonded with a few of them. When the pandemic hit, we knew it would be an indication of dedication as to why businesses would step up and answer the call to challenge and diversity or cave to the many existing pressures. The Star team chose to rise up and answer the call, bringing along with them a group of like-minded students. What came out of it was an even stronger team who demonstrated the life skills they taught: respect, discipline, communication & confidence. This weekend our daughter became one of the youngest black belts and has enjoyed being a student and now leader at Star. We can't say enough about Masters Mr. & Mrs. Birky, Ms. Torres, Mr. Cooper, Ms. E & C Gallegos, Mr. Schoettmer, Mr. Hartman & Mr. Hawkins along with all the other instructors who are learning to lead and assist in classes or who may no longer be at Star. You are an extraordinary team with life long goals both meaningful and purposeful. We appreciate the practice and effort you've given us, and as newly signed-up parents, we are now looking forward to our journey to black belt as well. Once again, we continue to strongly recommend Star Martial Arts - Elkhart to foster all the important life skills parents are teaching their children.
