From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed; I was greeted by the instructor and follow dancers. No partner; no problem. The way they teach the class, you do not need a partner. You actually learn the dance is phases and you go down the line and practice with a different partner each time. Being new at this and knowing I have coordination issues, I never felt I was being singled out for messing up. If I had a question or asked to see it again, it was not a bother. All the participants are very understanding and accepting. The practice dance portion of the class allows you to practice what you learned or dance a different style. Again no partner; no problem. Those that attend the class are so friendly and willing to teach others, that you will be on the dance floor more than you thought!! I highly recommend taking lessons here. I went back for several Ballroom Mondays and even tried the Westie Thursdays.

After four years of my daughter attending this gym we have left…read more There were a couple of classes where a young male substitute teacher taught her class whom I thought was extremely rude. My daughter was uncomfortable because she's never had a male teacher and she is quite shy to be in with. When she won't give him a high five he would make her feel uncomfortable. I thought maybe things would change once she was more comfortable around him. She had one make up class to use before it expired. They only class that was available was with this teacher. I told him I signed her up for his class which he seemed happy. Now to the day of her makeup class. My daughter asked a question that he would not answer her. At the same time two other girls ask similar questions that he answered right away. He made her stand in the middle of the class until she answered her own question. This happened a second time but to make it worse he stopped the whole class to answer another girls question and again made my daughter stand to try to answer her own question. He then told her to go do something and get out of the way. This is not her normal class so she was not use to his style of couching. She did not want to return if her normal teacher was not going to be there because this young male teacher was her back up. It got to the point she would ask her teacher if she will be here next week. If he talked to students like this when there parents are sitting right there I can't imagine how he treats the girls when their parents aren't there. We started looking for another gym because she was so uncomfortable. We finally found one that she will make her new home. My daughter had one last class before her monthly enrollment was up. As we walked out she was really sad. We talked for a couple of minutes. She had a change of heart and wanted to talk to her teacher about what happen. There was no compassion towards my daughter. I was told that she doesn't want to discuss this matter that she thinks very highly of him. Also, he was her back up. She didn't let her discuss what happen or I am sorry that happen or I am sorry you felt that way. After this we walked out knowing we made the right decision to leave a gym after four years and almost $3000!

I have taken yoga flow with Kimmie (one of the owners) and I hate yoga. Her class was the first yoga class I have ever enjoyed! She constantly reminds us that we are beautiful; we are strong I have taken her Zumba toning class and tried out barre with her and wow! I had never thought that taking a class would make me more sore than lifting weights!! Angelica teaches Strong Zumba and she was actually my very first Zumba instructor years ago so I was so happy to see her! I have never had a workout with her that I was not sweating profusely. Heather teaches Zumba toning and turbo kick and I love her. I actually came to the studio because of her. I have lost 30 lbs since last August and I give her lots of credit for it. I hated working out but took her class at Knollwood country club and was hooked. No longer was I dragging my feet to do a workout! I actually look forward every day for my next class! Who knew that working out is so fun??? I really suggest trying a class or two here. Heck get that unlimited monthly deal because once you start going you are going to fall in love with all the ladies there! No one there to judge so do not worry if you have no "experience".
