The procedures themselves were relatively simple and painless, just slight temporary discomfort. Throughout all of my appointments and follow up check ups the nurses, PAs, assistants all said everything looked great. I was somewhat happy with the results. Some of the discoloration did not go away as they indicated but they said I could receive more injections of some sort. Then I went in for the three month follow up appointment. A new PA examined my legs and told me that both veins opened up and the entire process needed to be done again. Skeptically I asked why is this being stated today when a month ago everything looked great. "Sometimes this happens". This was never explained to me previously. At that moment I lost all trust and confidence in this practice. A year later the pain in one of my legs is worse than it ever was before the procedures. In hindsight I never should have minimally considered other medical groups. If I decide to seek further treatment I will do so at another facility.

I was about 10 minutes late so the nurse makes a statement "I am going to take Mr. " " since she was late", which was okay, right...But why so rude? SO that was my welcome. As a sat and waited, another associate from different office in the building came in to borrow something. As she waited she a got a cup of water from the water machine in the office. Once she walks out the receptionist stated "they don't have their own water machine"? The other receptionist responds "it's nothing but tap water, I don't know the last time someone changed the that filter, but I don't care I just let people drink it". How disgusting. It gets better...they begin talking about a patient coming in tomorrow. They go on to say she has some kind of disease, they look it up and find its most common in persons with HIV. "OMG, does she has HIV I am going to tell _ _ _ _ _ to wear gloves". They continue on and on moments later finding out the patient does NOT have HIV and what she has is actually not contagious, yet still states "I don't care still tell her to wear gloves, I won't be here tomorrow so make sure you remind her". AND the patient first and last name was disclosed. CAN WE SAY HIPAA??? At this point the wait is too long, and I am disgusted by the unprofessionalism--so much so that I get up and cancel my appointment, immediately call my doctor and ask for a referral to another office. I felt compelled to share this experience. I will also reach out to the doctor office directly.
