Steakhouse Wedge Salad
Gloria M.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is great; the dining room is clean and the table are set up nicely. Service was good but the food was just ok. I stopped in for a few bites and tried the beef carpaccio, which I would recommend, and the wedge salad which was completely drenched in blue cheese dressing and could not be enjoyed. I tried a lemon dessert pie that was ok too.

The Yachtsman has been our "to-go" list for a while now and I'm very happy we finally made it here. This restaurant offers an amazing selection of meats, wine, and more. Our waitress was polite and warm which made our experience relaxing as we were out and about at parks all day - this was much needed. Great experience and we will definitely be dining here again(:

The best steakhouse. The prime rib eye was the best steak I've had at any restaurant - the 22 oz size could feed 3 people. They brought out appetizers and a box of chocolates on the house. Amazing service.

Amazing experience all around. The ambiance was beautiful, so was the decor and style of the restaurant. All of the food we had was amazing, including all of the sides. The lobster bisque was the best I've ever had. Even the bread service was incredible. The staff was incredible and our server was super friendly and helpful.

Yachtsman was excellent from start to finish. from the minute you walk in the presentation of the steaks and desserts along with the walk by the front of the kitchen was amazing. highly recommended you request "Lee" as your server. i hope i got her name correct because she was excellent. the bread with garlic and butter were some of the best ever! for dishes, highly recommend the "Short rib" and probably any steak on the menu your going to love. decor is beautiful and great location for a family gathering. one of my favorite location in Disney.

The food was so amazing I dined here twice in one week! The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and it just melted in my mouth. The Caesar salad was big enough to share. The crème brûlée was good; however I did not care for the whiskey ganache.

Celebrated our 3rd anniversary at the Yachtsman Steakhouse, and we're so happy we chose here! It was a bit crowded when we got there, but we were seated at a very nice and quiet table for 2. We started with sharing the lobster bisque and wedge salad with smoky blue cheese dressing. The salad was amazing and the lobster bisque was liquid gold! The lobster bisque is a must try, and seriously was the best I've ever had. We shared the 22 oz ribeye, sauce flight, mac and cheese and creamy spinach. The steak was super delicious and tender and the sauce flight was a great compliment. The sides were very good and served for sharing. Overall I can't say enough great things for our dining experience at Yachtsman Steakhouse!

Mashed potatoes and also creamed spinach

Another visit to Yachtsman Steak House at Yacht and Beach Club at Disney. The food ordered this time pretty much matched the order from the last visit. The prime rib was delicious which comes with Yorkshire pudding. We each ordered that, medium rare. We ordered a side of mashed potatoes and you must have creamy spinach. Wifey had shrimp cocktail for a starter while I decided on the French onion soup. The prime rib was great as was the Yorkshire pudding. Wifey enjoyed the shrimp but I was a bit disappointed with the French onion soup. It's not as good as the one at Steakhouse 71. The spinach was yummy but they need a new version of mashed potatoes. Not really impressed with it. We'll be back in 2026 and perhaps will change the side dishes in our order. The service by our waiter, Miguel was wonderful. The restaurant looks great as always.

I am vegan and my mom is not so this seems to be a place we can both find options. The newest vegan option is a pasta dish. It is very delicious and I would go here again and have it, however there is no form of protein in the dish which is disappointing for the price. The staff here is hit or miss. My mom has had the filet here and most recently she had the fish dish which she said was okay, however she doesn't love tomato based sauces with fish and this was. The bread and the garlic that comes with it, is delicious. I would say if you are near here and like steak it is a great place for steak, however the other dishes are not their primary focus and it shows (even the waitress agreed when we were talking to her about it). I would however get the vegan pasta dish again, but I would like them to add some sort of protein like the mushrooms they had previously.

No need to come here when Le Cellier Steakhouse at EPCOT inside of Canada is a short walk away. I've been on my quest to try the "top" rated Disney restaurants at the hotels around the parks. I wouldn't come back to Yachtsman. Everything here is pretty good, not great. Although I did really like the French onion soup. The steak was ok, as we're the Brussels. The $16.50 Manhattan was pretty good. There's really no reason to come here if you have a ticket into EPCOT.

Had a 7pm reservation. Started off a little rough as we rushed over there only to be told they were running 20-25 mins late. While we waited for our table we sat in the bar area. Once seated, our server was attentive. We both got steak which was very good. Really liked the mashed potatoes. It's expensive but it's Disney so just know that going in.

This is THE place to grab steak at Disney. We go every year for my birthday and we always have a great time. The interior is decked out sort of like a the interior of a yacht, and the service is outstanding as always on Disney property. The food, I usually stick with the rib eye and the seafood platter, and that is usually enough for a party of two. The prices are steep, I will say, but it's great to celebrate a special occasion. Their dome cake is also very delicious. It looks very dense and heavy but it's not, and highly recommend. It comes with Mickey ears!

My family loves this restaurant for a special night out on Disney property! We came here this week for my parent's 35th wedding anniversary. Ken was our server and made our experience spectacular. Ask for Ken!! This restaurant is inside the Yacht Club and is a fantastic steakhouse, also offering other options such as chicken, vegetarian dishes and seafood. They have a full bar and I really enjoyed my martini. The complimentary bread comes with spreadable roasted garlic and butter. This stuff is so addicting! I had the crudo for my appetizer and loved it. The flavors were complex and the texture of the fish was perfect. For my entree, I had the sea bass. I loved the mix of flavors and the crab was a great addition to the dish! For dessert, I opted for a chocolate martini and it was perfection. My entire family enjoyed their meals and we all had the best time celebrating my parents here!

Ask the Community - Yachtsman Steakhouse

Does the Yachtsman have a bar area where you can have drinks and an appetizer if you don't want full meal off main menu?

Yes they do have a bar next door, Crew's Cup Lounge. You can order bread, salads, cocktail shrimp, lobster bisque, truffle fries, or 14oz prime rib.

How strict is the dress code? I have invited guests and I'm not sure if I should tell them to not dress casual (jeans/hoody)?

There is a slight dress code, but as long as you are not wearing cutoff jean shorts or a tank top (for a guy), you will be ok. Personally, we wear golf shirts and jeans or khaki shorts which seems to be the norm.

Yes, technically it's a steakhouse. But as a pescatarian, I treated the menu like a seafood scavenger hunt. I got the tuna, crudo, anything that once touched the ocean. Also, and this is critical, the French fries. You cannot walk into a place this fancy and forget the fries. That would be a personality flaw. The food was good but I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because while it was good quality I am not sure I would say it was the caliber you expect for a $400 meal for two was really there. The amuse-bouche was tasteless but pretty. The bread was nice. The lobster bisque did not have very much lobster in it. The Tomahawk steak for two was cooked to the correct medium rare plus temp but there is an unusual hard crust on the meat that tasted burnt. The beef tallow to pour on is a nice touch. The bacon Mac n cheese is very decadent and a little overwhelming but in small batches ok. The mashed potatoes are the star. Seriously delicious. Crème brûlée was tasty. Cocktails were made well. I am not sure if we would return only because I thought it was going to a wow factor and it was a good factor overall.

Firstly, the complimentary cordial valet that greets you driving up is a perfect touch. It starts you off feeling well attended and pampered. Good job! All Staff are both formal (tux!) and friendly. They are swift, Helpful and with great attention to detail. I broke a wine glass & they were all over it in a moment, like it never happened! And apologized to ME?! We love our steakhouses for special occasions, so this is a definite yes in our list. We decided to choose an app to share, two entrees & one side. We got a crab cake app (fabulous), 4 complimentary meatballs (also delish!), side of au gratin corn flake top potatoes, 24 oz bone in ribeye and 8 oz filet mignon, butterflied. ALL great! The food has also been consistently high quality across most visits, with only very few moments where I can recall any issues. Had a fabulous date night with my husband, something we had been looking forward to for a while. The food was delicious. I ordered the chef's special, the surf and turf (filet with a half lobster tail cooked scampi). Our server was delightful, though service was a bit slower than usual this night. We sat for a while after the bread and salads, which are always generous, and by the time our meals arrived I was already pretty full. We dine here often, so I know this isn't typical and just felt like an off night. As usual, the staff came over to box up our leftovers, and since we were caught up enjoying our evening, we didn't pay close attention. Unfortunately, the next day I realized my leftovers were missing almost the entire lobster tail, which was a big part of a very expensive dish. I was honestly a little sad, as I had been looking forward to enjoying it for lunch. I do wish I had double-checked before leaving, but I also think a bit more care could have been taken when packing it. They've always done such a great job in the past, even boxing up small extras, so it didn't cross my mind to check. Just a heads up to others to make sure everything is in your to-go boxes before you leave. I still appreciate the dining experience at Charlie's, but anyone would be disappointed to lose part of such an expensive meal. As a small suggestion, if something is part of the main course and there's a significant portion left, it should always be included or at least confirmed with the guest before discarding.

I should have taken the hint and gone somewhere else when the stale tasting bread loaf was served. We requested another loaf, and it tasted exactly the same. Maybe stale bread is the new steakhouse trend? All the main dishes are served à la carte, and the sides were over twenty dollars on top of sixty to one hundred dollar entrées. That alone would be fine if the food were actually good, but it wasn't. The tater tots were mediocre at best, and the Brussels sprouts were overcooked, dry, and tasted like burnt bacon. Our server ended up removing the Brussels sprouts from the bill since none of us touched them after the first bite. Tina, our server, is the reason I gave two stars instead of one. She was friendly, attentive, and made the experience a little better. Now for the cocktails. My wife ordered the espresso martini and said it was decent, but not even as good as the one from our local burger joint. For a twenty two dollar "craft cocktail," I expected much better. I ordered two dirty vodka martinis with blue cheese olives, which came with a four dollar upcharge on an already twenty plus dollar drink. When the order was taken, I was asked if I wanted olives, but no one mentioned there would be an extra charge. It's not the money that bothered me, we already expected outrageous Disney Springs pricing. It's the principle of charging extra for olives in a martini, which traditionally comes with olives. To make matters worse, the drinks were so watered down that after two martinis I barely felt anything at all. The entire place feels more focused on loud music, Instagram photos, and pretending to be exclusive than actually delivering quality food and drinks. After paying nearly four hundred dollars for three entrées (chicken, shrimp scampi, and salmon), one salad, two sides, and three cocktails for a party of four, the experience was honestly embarrassing, both for me and for STK. Orlando has far better steakhouses that actually deserve the price tag. I left feeling completely ripped off and won't ever be back!!

As a meat lover there was a lot to like about this place but where it misses it misses really bad where it's honestly quite lucky to get a 3. The good: These fries might be the best fries on Disney property. Crispy and well seasoned, they're extremely savory and delicious, although I'd skip the poutine and just go with regular Parmesan fries. The steak was cooked exactly how I liked it, good char, decent seasoning, big piece of meat plenty of juice. Okay: We got some garlic shrimp as an enhancement. It was REALLY flavorful, drowning in butter garlic. However note that it would have been nice if it had a char like the steak, instead it was more poached. Really bad: I love creamed spinach, it's one of my favorite parts about going to a steakhouse. While this was well seasoned and flavorful, it was ice cold in the middle and was broken a little bit. It was clear that it was pre-made and they attempted to just broil it in a cast iron ramekin after the fact and while the outside was bubbly and crispy the inside suffered. This happened not only once, but twice after our very kind server attempted to fix it. It was pretty inexcusable as even quick service restaurants manage to serve hot food. The sauces are bad. Every steak comes with a mandatory sauce and none of them are simple in a way that compliments a good savory steak. Same with the reduction that comes with the poutine, rather than a simple well executed gravy they bring out a super sweet sauce that takes away from their amazing fries. Go here for meat and potatoes and keep it simple to have an okay experience.
