Michaels offers in-store and online classes/events, such as crafting demos, sewing, cake decorating, etc. With so much to offer, they do still have some things that could use improvement. Many items have no prices on them and I couldn't find a price scanner either. It's little tedious to have to approach a sales person every time you want to know a price. It's also a little messy here. Checkout is self checkout here, with an employee hovering over to assist. You'll also find weekly coupons online to use. The President John Grasso is a hands on personable/ flexible guy that always has an open "phone" for any assistance. The field management is led by Mr Dominic Ferraro who is a hard working hands on experienced Director/ Supervisor that provides the needed guidance and assistance and is always available. I worked here for 5 years and many of the guards have been here for years. I have nothing but good words for this company in a tough industry where sometimes good words are tough to come by. They treat you fairly as long as you do the same- nothing wrong with that! I was laid off by my Corporation job and CJ was the one that hired me during tough times where nobody was interested in a 55 year old ultra experienced middle management middle age guy. I owe them gratitude for their years of loyalty to me that I know I gave my best to them as well.
