I never leave reviews but need to give a shout out and a huge thank you to Sheila. I showed up on an extremely tight schedule with a piece of furniture that unexpectedly did not fit into my unit. She was extremely efficient, helpful, friendly and calm and transformed a hectic day of moving debacles into something better and it was very much appreciated. After seeing what other storage units have to offer this is a breath of fresh air. It is a clean open space with great lighting and an knowledgeable accommodating staff, finding an appropriate unit was simple and straight forward, when we unexpectedly had to extend the stay of our items by over a month there was no problem. Unfortunately there was an issue on pick up of my belongings however after contacting XYZ they in time came back with a much appreciated solution. Frankly with the stress of a double move and everything else that has been going on I was extremely grateful that this business was able to show me the courtesy and consideration that our particular situation required. We purchased mobile storage and paid upfront for pick-up and delivery. We got a random phone call a month ago saying they were discontinuing the mobile units, and moving our stuff to Weston. This is already inconvenient since we chose XYZ for their mobile service, so now we'll have to pay extra for movers. When I phoned to ask whether we will be reimbursed for the delivery fees paid up-front, the person at the Weston location tried to tell me that they don't owe us the delivery fees back since they moved the items from their closed facility to the Weston facility. That's ridiculous (not to mention when they phoned us to say the items would be moved they said there would be no charge). Why should we be paying for XYZ to move our items around Toronto because they decided to close a facility? They've already caused us trouble by cancelling the mobile storage service without warning, and now their trying to keep our money for a service they have failed to render. read more

I've been a customer for five years. I'm a good customer that always pays my rent. This company is the WORST storage facility in Toronto. They keep increasing their prices, the staff is rude.....I'm talking about you Ahmed, and they will not offer any Covid 19 relief to us long term customers. Even though I told them my May payment would be late, they have hounded me relentlessly and because my payment is late, they refused to let me get my wheelchair out of the unit, despite the fact that I need it desperately. Clean place BUT when you move out and they owe you a refund...good luck. You have to constantly call and wait months. If you leave messages they do not return calls. Here's a tip! Call your credit card company or bank (if debit) and they can reverse charges paid to them back to you. They can go back as far as 90 days to reverse payments! Pretty sad when I've been renting from them for several years over the winter months. read more

From beginning to end, ACSS was phenomenal providing service. When researching storage options, I called several places, and ACSS seemed the best and had reasonable rates for mobile storage. I was able to easily schedule drop off/pick up at point A and subsequently at point B where we moved. The staff at the office were extremely helpful and friendly providing service, and that same great service extended to the drivers too! I'm generally very critical about customer service standards, and hardly come across businesses worth sharing- ACSS is an exception. Hands down the best storage place I've ever used. Spectacular rate. Reasonably fast sign up in the office, and very friendly. Facility is spotless, all the equipment (elevators and carts) works. And when I moved out over Easter weekend, and instead of me having to track them down to cancel my contract, they automatically noticed Monday morning that I had moved out and called *me* to let me know they were pro-rate refunding me the rest of my monthly fee. (For most places, you need to hound them to stop charging your credit card.) A+++ read more

The All Canadian staff were very helpful in all areas. Reception is friendly and provided a good understanding of what my best option was. You can rent a truck, pick up your items and drive it right into the storage warehouse. It makes it very convenient when bringing lots of items into your storage My main purpose of this experience was to just rent a uhaul truck to move some items i bought which which did not fit in my vehicle but then it became more informative experience learning about their self-storage this staff is willing to give you there time!! Currently I did not need a unit but I was just getting some information for the future since I will be looking at storage when I decide to clean my garage. Overall great experience! Not a great experience. They changed the gate code without informing any of their customers. I had to urgently remove some items from my storage locker. I tried to enter the gate with my code around 7:40pm on a Friday. It would not give me access. At the same time there were other customers trying to get access but their code was also not working. Even though you pay for a locker to have access to during normal hours it is not always guaranteed considering how unprofessional management is. I would not recommend this storage space unless you are okay having to make multiple trip to gain access to your locker. read more

Like many people using self-storage for the first time, I was expecting a world of hassle. Generally in situations like these I consider myself lucky if I only get yelled at once or twice by a bitter cranky staff member hell-bent on projecting frustrations from his/her personal life because I didn't already know the complete ins and outs of the business of self-storage the very FIRST TIME I'm using it. Thankfully I dug around review sites like Yelp and trusted the power of community evaluations and reviews, because today's experience, on the other hand, redefined and completely exceeded the word "service". Awkwardly stumbling through the main entrance with my loose luggage, I locked eye with Sarah (why eye singular? You'll soon find out), the lovely and charming staff member who immediately tended to me and managed to find out what I needed, albeit with half my face covered by two large wardrobe bags throughout our conversation. She was very understanding, patient, social, agreeable and most importantly, honest. I deeply enjoyed her presence, helpfulness and every second of our conversations. Soon they suggested I take a load off, temporarily setting my luggage in one corner of the office while they give me a quick tour of the storage unit I was looking to rent. That's when Jessica, the super perky staff, surprised me with a "would you like tea?" and still actually handed me a cup of apple cinnamon hot tea even though the hipster-diva in me uncontrollably blurted out "do you have anything herbal?". It's safe to say said tea warmed me straight to the heart. The process was efficient. I received exactly what I set out to get- a clean, safe and secured mini-storage unit. The price was reasonable, and every person in that office was extremely helpful and had bright smiles. They were a welcoming bunch, each one a friendly individual, and together they were undoubtably a wonderful representation of their company. I left there blushing by the end, because today I was spoiled by a group of kindhearted people. And you know what? I didn't mind at all :) read more

Great storage locker facility. well lit facility with climate control. The drive thru is a nice touch. The price is high but reasonable given all that they have to offer. The staff (Jessica & Sarah) are both very friendly and professional. They'll answer every question and make sure you're good before they make you sign anything. I chose All Canadian due to (1) price and (2) type of container. I needed a more narrow container and they had one that was 5' x 8'. Perfect for my small Toronto driveway. They were able to squeeze me in to get my container quickly (a day or two, I can't remember) and the pick up was hassle free. I wasn't even home. Just left it empty and that was it. Container upon arrival was clean and dry and stayed that way. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

Went to All Canadian for a small cubby. Good enough to store extra boxes (out of an apartment). The main lobby wasn't the fanciest, but the facility for the actual storage is nice. Has the ability to drive in and out. Great for a small business owner like myself. Will plan on using them for a while! read more

We rented a trailer to move from Nova Scotia to Ontario. We drove through a rain storm and it turns out there was a leak in the top of the trailer but not the bottom. The trailer filled with water destroying thousands of dollars of our items. U-Hual stated "no direct negligence on the part of U-Haul..." We had also paid for insurance. read more

Nice facilities but not prorated like they claim. They make you pay for the entire month up front even if you just need a few days. Good luck getting them to explain anything to you though; the first girl I talked to didn't even know what month it was. Dealing with U-Haul has been HELL. DO NOT USE U-HAUL. I've been trying to get a hold of a manager for 3.5weeks now, 6 calls later, still no one to tell me WHY MY UBOXES WERE CANCELLED WITH ALL OF OUR STUFF IN IT. Work tools, baby crib, toys, clothing, shoes. Everything you can think of to live with aside from our backpacks with a couple of basic living necessities. Our boxes were just sitting at the Western Rd, Toronto stockyard for a week before I realized something was wrong. I've been trying to get a hold of someone for nearly 4 weeks to find out what happened. 6 calls, 9 people talked to in total, have opened a 'customer objection form' and promised calls and emails, it's not until 3 weeks 5 days later that I received a call from manager Shannon. She has been less than useless with no answers for me and promised a call back, which never happened and just issued a $500 refund on a $2600 overall cost. No answers, no call back. I am still trying to get a hold of a manager that can properly explain to me why it's taken nearly 4 weeks to have NO ANSWER. They are disregarding the financial stress which has cause emotional stress and in turn physical sickness. I am going to escalate this as a legal matter as I have been treated less than acceptable by Uhaul. This is OUTRAGEOUS. DO NOT USE UHAUL, THEY WILL BE LESS THA PROFESSIONAL IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. read more

All Canadian Self Storage went above and beyond to provide us with last minute storage needs. We were moving our student out of residence and requiring last minute storage solutions. As we are from out of province we did not have a chance to investigate storage options or moving arrangments. All Canadian Self Storage was recommended to us so we made the call. Diana ( our angel of all proportions) answered the call. We did not have any transportation arranged and for our needs she recommended that we contact a taxi service with a van that would accommodate the extra belongings. Not only that, she offered to contact them for us for a quote! Above and beyond! Diana of All Canadian Self Storage went above and beyond, getting quotes for us for moving our goods, finding us a perfect storage container, meeting our taxi van and helping us unload. All above and beyond. Right up to the calling of the taxi to get us back to our hotel with the remainder of our luggage. After a very hectic day, Diana and All Canadian Self Storage went above and beyond to provide the courtesy of perrsonal, professional service that we recceived at our five star Hotel. All Canadian Self Storage is a FIVE STAR in our books. We would recommend this facility without hesitation. We also noticed that other clients were treated like family.
