I am missing more than half of my stuff that's not furniture. All sports memorbial, all video gaming equipment and games, jewelry, sports jerseys and much more. Although everyt8me I entered it looked different then the time b4, when I brought this up she had laughed and asked why anyone would do that, playing stupid. Anyways after me paying for insurance every month there is nothing I can do and these storage facilities know this, therefore know they can rob you blind while upping your rent every 6 months to a year. I started paying $226/ month and finished at $504. 79 in a 10 year span. I can rent a room in a house with shared amenities I.E. running water, electricity and appliances for Less then they are asking for a 10x15. Absolutely disgusting joke. When we moved our things in we, unfortunately, had the mishap of having 2 boxes that were left outside our unit. We received a phone call from them the next day saying we had two boxes that had remained in the hallway. I was grateful and thank them but and let them know that I was in between Montreal and Toronto and not back for another 3 weeks only when I returned I was informed that they had thrown away my boxes. I was absolutely stunned and frankly devastated because the value of the boxes was very important and precious to me. I was offered no compensation and was told that the management doesn't want them to keep anything for customers. And that the cleaning crew threw out my two boxes. That is obviously not what they did with the boxes. I stayed for a full year in their establishment in despite this since most my things were already there. I offered a reward to get my things back but obviously never got them back.

I stored my stuff here for several months after having used the Downtown East XYZ Storage facility…read more Pros: generally clean and secure facility; dependable about monetary stuff; has an old-school freight elevator that makes you feel like you're in a movie Cons: definitely not as clean and shiny as the (newer) downtown XYZ Storage location; front desk staff can be variable (some are super friendly, others less so); no recycling on-site NB: the dimensions of the lockers are variable and only refer to the total volume (e.g. 3' x 4' x 4' locker could actually be 6' x 4' x 2'), so if you want to store something that's close to the maximum dimensions of the locker, check the space first! Overall, I would recommend this facility.

Great service and clean facility!…read more It was my first time visiting the storage unit we have on site here and was very pleased with the customer service and facility. The reception at the front was very nice and helpful with where I needed to be. Super friendly service and made me feel so welcomed (as a first timer). The store front is quite large and very clean. Coffee station on the side if you'd like a sip and water available as well which is always a nice touch! The storage unit is your typical storage. Imagine rows and rows of locked units. The only down side is that there is no light in the unit so can have a hard time seeing when you're in there. But the hallway lights are bright enough for you see get some visual of what's inside. Washrooms are also available. I really liked the load docks where I was able to park my car to load things in and out of storage. Large trolleys are also available for use within the facility making it easier for you to move all your belongings. Overall a great experience!

DONT Trust Jiffy with your stuff!…read more Initially, all seemed good. They kindly donated a unit for my charity for youth, then, one day months later, when we went there to get some of our school posters, all our stuff in the locker was GONE! Wall-to-wall! They had cleaned out the entire unit --first they said they needed it for another client and claimed they didn't have our phone number (which, of course they did; as everyone has a file there, plus the charity is online with our contact info), then they switched their story and said someone broke into our unit (and took tonnes of documents and posters? We don't think so). Verrry strange. An elderly woman who lives there opened the door to her small apartment in there and told us that, then shut the door and disappeared. No explanation, no compensation. A very unethical, irresponsible company. DONT use them if you don't want to risk losing your worldly goods, your business or your life-savings.
