I am changing my review of Inner City Moving & Storage Company because the owner stepped up in way…read morethat was completely unexpected. He offered a sincere apology and he made things right. As I mentioned in my previous review, the movers were highly skilled and very experienced but mistakes were made that caused some damage to my furniture. We're human and we all make mistakes. Minor damage to furniture is a normal part of moving and I expected it when I hired this company. What I didn't expect was that the owner would take the time to contact me, to listen attentively to my complaints and then to respond by remedying the situation. I did not expect compassion, kindness or a human being at the end of the phone line who was deeply apologetic. I was very impressed with the humanity shown by Paul. Paul didn't just apologize for the mistakes made by his crew, he took responsibility and ownership for those mistakes. He showed integrity and to me, that is what differentiates a good business from a bad one. Thank you for being an honourable human, Paul and for running your business with integrity. I highly recommend Inner City Moving & Storage Company. Patrice

Packing a house with 2 self employed professionals with work from home offices was beyond stressful…read morebut without question, the smartest decision we made was packing with City Boxes! When I was doing my research, I originally was ready to go with Frogbox and then I found out there would be an extra charge to pick up from Aurora. So glad for that extra charge because I did more research and found out not only does City Boxes pick up from Aurora, they would cost less and allow me more time to have them! As everyone else has said Andrew is THE BEST. Customer service is in his DNA and of everyone we dealt with for the move, his friendliness and helpfulness simply blew us away. I should also add that the 6 guys from the moving company doing our move ALL said they prefer the dimensions of CityBoxes over frog boxes. They said they are easier to carry - because professional movers don't carry boxes the way the average person does. Andrew and the City Boxes website keep saying take more than you need - DO IT. It makes packing so much easier. And the dolly was great for moving stacks of boxes around. Thank you Andrew for being the rockstar of our move and giving us faith that there are still businesses that understand customer service!

It doesn't happen often, but every now and then you encounter a business that goes above and beyond…read moreevery expectation, and leaves you feeling relieved and satisfied. That's how I feel about my experience with CityBoxes, and thus I am compelled to write this review. They just delivered my order of boxes, not only to my door, but right into my apartment, through a particularly harrowing passage between two houses that even pizza delivery guys usually fear. All of this days ahead of schedule. I can't say enough good things about my experience with CityBoxes. The awesome customer service and communication turned me into a repeat customer even before I got the boxes, and the boxes themselves are amazing. Andrew stayed in touch with me every step of the way and made the whole process seamless. Super nice guy. My move is going to be so much easier, thanks to him. I'll be telling all my friends about CityBoxes.

I've been using Access Storage at this location for almost a year now. So far so good. Hopefully…read moreprice stays the same *cross fingers*... The initial interaction was a bit off when I inquired about prices. It seems like every few days they gave me a different price. Then they ignored me for a bit in my email exchange initially. I'm not sure why or whether it's their emails servers not receiving my email follow ups. I questioned the price fluctuations and their reasoning is that the system updates the price based on how many storage lockers are available at that given size. So a smaller locker could be priced more expensive than my current larger locker just because it's the last one left and it's on the first floor while my larger one is on the 2nd. I mean it doesn't make sense to me but at the end I found a locker that was cheaper than when I was first quoted and I'm glad I got a bigger locker. Keep in mind there is no light in the storage locker so I bought a little portable headlight that I leave in the locker. The female staff I spoke to was quite helpful and friendly after I confirmed renting them. The management tells their staff to ask people to leave reviews on Google, which means the reviews are not all organic over there. I gave it some time now that it's almost a year, I think I can give a fair assessment. In the winter months the main door that's closest to my locker / closest to the entry gate is sometimes frozen shut. But there are other doors along the side of the building where you can enter from so it's not a concern. In terms of security, you have to key in to get into the gate and also into the building. I haven't had any issues with break-ins so far. I have my locker on the second floor but it isn't too bad. They have storage elevators to allow you to move your stuff up and down. I think out of a dozen or so times, i've been there over a year, I only ran into one time where the storage elevator didn't work and I had to carry my stuff up the stairs. Another one time there was someone using the storage elevator while I was trying to move stuff in. They have a moving cart near the elevator too in case you need to move a lot of things at a time.

Our initial experience was very pleasant when we inquired about climate control. We were told in…read morethe summer months their facilities have climate control, therefore, my belongings will NOT grow mould from the HUMIDITY! I specifically asked about the summer months, as a friend of mine used a different company last summer and had to throw out all of her furniture and clothes that were stored for three months. Seeing that my belongings have been stored since the middle of March when Covid hit, I went back this past weekend to find mould on my sofa and clothes! It was EXTREMELY HOT AND HUMID inside so couldn't stay long. There was mould growing which shows their "climate control" does not help for summer months!! I was told today by one of their managers that climate control only includes heating during winter months. I would NOT RECOMMEND using their facilities during summer months!!! I am a first time customer, and I would never use their company again! I'm extremely disappointed and if I had known about their lack of "climate control", I wouldn't have used this company!!
