Had a great experience with a silver powder coat on a set of 2005 Camry 16" factory wheels…read more I got a set of throwaway wheels on Facebook Marketplace intended as a gift for my mom's old car. The wheels were in pretty bad cosmetic shape - dings, scratches, brake dust everywhere, peeling paint galore, and some pitting on the back for one of them. After Proper Motion finished my powder coat they came out spectacular. You can also clearly see all the factory Toyota markings on the back despite the years of obvious neglect. The worst wheel still had some of the pitting come through only in the back, but that was the original wheel's problem so kind of expected for a 21-year-old wheel. I didn't ask them to file it down (which would've removed probably too much material), so I'm still thrilled with the final results. I guess I visited their newer shop in Sante Fe Springs. They had a clean and neat front lobby and a cozy waiting lounge with couches. I just dropped off the wheels, so didn't get to take full advantage of the lobby. I asked for pricing over the phone before coming, and once I arrived everything was still as quoted, even with the poor condition of my wheels. They had lots of sample swatches and a few miniature wheels as demos, but I wanted a lighter silver to match the factory paint. They were super helpful and special-ordered the matching powder / paint for no additional cost. I just had to wait a few days for the order. Overall would highly recommend.

He took the time to explain the powder-coating process and helped me decide what I wanted before I scheduled my appointment for the following week. I dropped my car off in the morning, and it was already finished and ready for pickup by around 4 PM that same day! My wheels were originally satin black, and I wanted something that would stand out a little more against the color of my car. The new finish came out excellent and really makes the wheels pop. He also repaired the existing curb rash on the wheels, and you can't even tell it was there anymore. Great workmanship, quick turnaround, and an owner who takes pride in his work. I'm extremely happy with how the wheels turned out and would definitely recommend Baid Polish to anyone looking to refinish or powder coat their wheels. Would absolutely come back again!

Turn around time was fast and reasonable as well. However, because of the design of my roll bar, there is an inside portion of a cutout that I remember telling Gloria should be powder coated. When I found out this part wasn't coated and brought up this issue to Gloria, she didn't have much care to resolve the issue nor offer a halfway solution to fix it. She just simply stated that she didn't recall me pointing it out, and that's it. So overall, I'm some-what happy with the job. The most important part of the job is the exterior of the rollbar, and that got coated came out beautiful. Just disappointed and turned off by the lack in customer service when an issue arise.

These gents are great to work with. They've got plenty of sample pieces you can look at in person but if you have an idea of what color you're looking for but aren't narrowed down to a specific shade/tone/metallic flake/tint, getting a few samples from Prismatic Powders may be helpful prior to going there. You'll definitely want to see colors in person, in the shade and in sunlight, because online pics aren't truly representative.

Their process seemed a little too good to be true. After getting various quotes from a range of others, the price was all over the place from too cheap to extraordinarily expensive. Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

The aluminum frame was in perfectly good shape and I didn't want to just throw them out. But when you shop for replacement slings none of the companies had my specific Christopher Knight ones listed on their website. Since you have to have EXACT measurements, slings are $100 each and there are NO returns, I was panicked to actually trust my measurements and pull the trigger. Then I came across CFR Patio specifically listing the brand on their site and their sales manager Collin Lee went above and beyond to reassure me they would fit. He even finished editing a video showing the exact steps how to install them. I was SO thrilled when they arrived, were easy to install and fit perfectly! I only replaced the bottom half so the color of the fabric in the photos is different because my old ones were faded. I will eventually replace the top half with the new ones they sent me but wanted to get my review up so anyone out there with this specific brand can rest assured they're in good hands!! I ended up running into a really high curb which made a big dent in the AMG wheel of my SUV. I take really good care of my vehicle, so I had to get it fixed or it would have driven me crazy. Precision Wheel Repair fixed it perfectly for about $160.00. I would definitely go there again if needed, but I am extra careful after that.
