The wheels were in pretty bad cosmetic shape - dings, scratches, brake dust everywhere, peeling paint galore, and some pitting on the back for one of them. After Proper Motion finished my powder coat they came out spectacular. You can also clearly see all the factory Toyota markings on the back despite the years of obvious neglect. The worst wheel still had some of the pitting come through only in the back, but that was the original wheel's problem so kind of expected for a 21-year-old wheel. I didn't ask them to file it down (which would've removed probably too much material), so I'm still thrilled with the final results. I guess I visited their newer shop in Sante Fe Springs. They had a clean and neat front lobby and a cozy waiting lounge with couches. I just dropped off the wheels, so didn't get to take full advantage of the lobby. I asked for pricing over the phone before coming, and once I arrived everything was still as quoted, even with the poor condition of my wheels. They had lots of sample swatches and a few miniature wheels as demos, but I wanted a lighter silver to match the factory paint. They were super helpful and special-ordered the matching powder / paint for no additional cost. I just had to wait a few days for the order. Overall would highly recommend.

REPLY FROM LYING OWNER: These wheels had really bad casting marks so we stripped them, primered them, and powder coated them. perhaps the primer was added too thick to try and erase the casting marks ORIGINAL REVIEW: Garbage. Wheel was never stripped of the original coat and has way too much PC on it now. Wheel is slowly leaking air. Also, they somehow damaged my original custom black TPMS sensor and replaced it without telling me. Even for the price, it's garbage. They have plenty of business, they could be a bit more honest.

Turn around time was fast and reasonable as well. However, because of the design of my roll bar, there is an inside portion of a cutout that I remember telling Gloria should be powder coated. When I found out this part wasn't coated and brought up this issue to Gloria, she didn't have much care to resolve the issue nor offer a halfway solution to fix it. She just simply stated that she didn't recall me pointing it out, and that's it. So overall, I'm some-what happy with the job. The most important part of the job is the exterior of the rollbar, and that got coated came out beautiful. Just disappointed and turned off by the lack in customer service when an issue arise.

My 25 pieces were…read morebroken, tearing, chipped or all of the above and when they got done with them -- a week ahead of the four weeks they said it would take -- they looked brand new and beautiful. What's more, Colin (the owner's son) is incredibly honest. The first estimate he gave me included about $1,500 for a clear coat he said was needed for the color I chose. I signed the estimate and paid 1/2 for the deposit. Then Colin called me to say that he wouldn't need to do the clear coat after all, so he was taking that money off the second payment and sending me a new invoice. So many businesses wouldn't have bothered doing this once the client signed and agreed, since they could have pocketed the additional money and I would have been none the wiser. Not these guys! Given that experience, and the finished product, I recommend these nice, honest, small-business owners 1,000%. CFR Patio isn't cheap, but it is more than worth it if you have pricey patio furniture, since redoing my 25 pieces of furniture cost about the same as buying 4-5 replacement chairs. Oh, and their delivery guys are incredibly nice and helpful. Helped me move around the furniture more than once to get it all back the way I wanted. Really can't say enough good things about CFR!
