That's a lot of time. Please don't trust your car to one of the chains. The price tag and "quick turn around" might seem great, but I promise you, you will end up getting burned. Our cars run so well (one of them is going on 19 years in 2026! Crazy!), and I know the whole staff at Centerville is always looking out for our family and not upselling every five seconds. And honestly, the turn around has always blown my mind at CSC. This parking lot is ALWAYS full, and our cars are ALWAYS ready on time (We call ahead for appointments. I recommend doing the same).

The service here is 100% on-point. I think you pay for some of that in the final bill, but if "I…read morewant my car taken care of with transparency, friendliness, and minimal impact on my life" is how you approach car care, I honestly have never had a more customer-first mechanic experience in my life. I'm glad I popped in here when my battery light came on, and I'll definitely come back. PROS: -Everybody is so freakin' friendly here. You'll primarily interact with the two front desk employees who do what they say they're going to do at a level that's pretty impressive. ("We'll email you a full workup of your car, and if you don't call us within the half hour, we'll call you to make sure you've received it.") -They offer courtesy rides to/from where you need to be. If you need to drop off your car mid-day, they can take you back to work. If you need to pick it up mid-day, they can come get you from work to pick up your car at the mechanic. When I had to take my car here unexpectedly and planned to have to take an Uber, they were happy to get me home at no cost to me. -Full price transparency. Even when working up the work order just to take a look at what was wrong with my battery, the service manager, Eric, flipped his computer screen around and talked me through what every charge was and why it was there before I agreed to the look. After they knew what was wrong, it was the exact same process, with a full itemized plan (taxes and all fees included!) with the out-the-door price to know what you're getting yourself into. -They also run a full "complete car health" check on your car. I'm unsure if you can opt out of this, but it was really helpful, honestly. You receive a full online list of Green, Yellow, and Red items of concern about your vehicle along with pictures and explanations of everything to do a bit of reading yourself. This is SO nice for reading at your leisure instead of feeling bad taking up someone's time while they have a line out the door of customers waiting on them. -Zero pushiness on any service. When I opted out of one of the "Red" services, Eric was super friendly, explained what the potential risks would be, and let me know what a good "you really gotta get this done for your safety" timeline would be. -Car was returned just the way I gave it to them. No extra dirt or anything else. -They were able to get my car done within the day with no problem - even when I came back, without an appointment (see below), a second time! -I never waited in line. With two front desk staff members, there was never a time where I was on hold on the phone or waiting in the office. There was always someone to help me - and fast! -They have an after-hours lockbox for dropping off your keys AND picking them up. I feel so much more secure with my key locked up instead of the usual mechanic placements somewhere on the car. CONS: -After returning my car to me with the issue "fixed", the battery light was back on in my car within a day. Super weird. However, I brought it back in (rides, again, were offered to me!), and they redid the work at zero cost to me. My guess would be one of the parts was DOA when they put it in, and their short test drives didn't trigger the same wear on it as driving home did. -The work was a bit more expensive than my mechanic friends said it "would" have been at other places. Not price gouging or anything ridiculous, but just be aware that it might be a bit more expensive to fund all of those fantastic customer-first experiences you get to enjoy.

I have done business with Fatt Boyz under previous leadership and was very satisfied with the work…read moreand customer service I received. Unfortunately, my recent experience under the current leadership has been the complete opposite. This review is based on my personal experience with both the Moraine and Centerville locations. My vehicle had significant installation oversights involving critical components and purchased hardware that were simply not installed. These were not cosmetic issues-they were essential components that were included with the purchased kit and should have been installed as part of the work I paid for. Since February, what concerns me most is that even after three follow-up inspections, alignment work, and additional adjustments that may have successfully disguised the root cause, the missing components STILL were not identified. Multiple opportunities existed to discover and correct the problem, yet the installation deficiencies remained. In my opinion, this demonstrates a serious breakdown in QA, inspection procedures, and workmanship. In July, when I brought these issues to the attention of current leadership, the response focused on a limited partial refund rather than meaningfully addressing the broader concerns surrounding the incomplete installation and repeated failure to identify it. That response left me with little confidence that accountability and customer safety are being treated with the seriousness they deserve. If you choose to do business here, I strongly recommend confirming that every purchased part has actually been installed, verifying all manufacturer p/n before approving the installation, and thoroughly inspecting the completed work before accepting delivery. For suspension, steering, or any other safety-related work, I also recommend obtaining an independent inspection. Based on my personal experience with both the Moraine and Centerville locations, I cannot recommend this business under its current leadership.

So I call up to get a quote to put in a water pump and a speed sensor, I think I spoke with a guy named Mike but I'm not sure because once I let him know I just needed a quote for the labor (not the labor and price of the parts), he immediately hangs up. He stated "we don't do walk-in parts" and just hangs up on me, very rude Mike. Whats funny about this is the first time I received service from them I had "walked in" with my own parts I purchased elsewhere. I brought in my own break pads, rotors and calipers and they just charged me for the labor. However this time they tell me they don't do walk-in parts, very confusing. I wont be receiving service from this company ever again because of their rude employees and inconsistant service.
