Went in for a catalytic converter issue to have them replaced when I got the truck back there was an air noise coming from underneath the passenger side, where the catalytic converters are. Went back to automotive two different times and they could not fix the problem.. This is on top of the fact after the first time I was there one of the mechanics backed my truck out of the garage and into a dumpster denting the back bumper. A few days ago, my car broke down on I-71, about an hour from Cincinnati. I pulled off at the next exit and made it to the closed town, Bowersville. HP Automotive was the first on the list of places I googled for "car repair." Samantha, the office manager, sent a tow truck out to get me, and Gene, head mechanic and owner, stayed until 630pm trying to figure out what was wrong with my car. Samantha and Gene located the necessary part, but it couldn't be delivered until the next day. Gene and Samantha drove me to the nearest hotel (Holiday Inn, Wilmington, OH) and made sure I got checked in and taken care of. They also picked me up the next day when the part arrived and my car was fixed. This level of customer service deserves an award and recognition. And as a point of comparison - the closest Ford dealership offered no help at all. I understand that everyone wants to go home after a long day at work. But the Ford dealership wouldn't even help me look for a hotel. So yourself a favor and take your business to this upstanding, honest, and thoughtful car mechanic. You will not regret it.

But they also repair just about anything. I bonded with most of the guys here because we were all truck drivers in the army. They always think its cool since I am a girl. Even without that fact they were always nice and never tried to get me to fix something that didn't need it. One time I came in and said "Jack, its leaking oil but I don't have any money yet, please don't let it cost too much". When I picked it up he said "I fixed the leak for now, just keep it topped off, but if you don't get a new tire you are going to die". How's that for honesty? My truck sucked and I was there often. They would drive me home, to work, or just give me one of their personal cars to drive. Jack let me haggle a little bit over cost, and would offer me a shot or a beer from his secret stash in the back to soften the blow. Once, after I practically dropped my paycheck to fix my ride he threw in a 6-pack of tall boys. That is service my friends. When I told them I was moving to Cali in my heap they were worried and checked it out for me. They did "just enough" work on it so I could make it there but told me to ditch the thing once I made it. I got to Cali with no problems. I only wish I had sold it sooner - it broke down within a few months and cost $700 just so I could then trade it in. Oh well. Thanks to everyone at Summers - you guys rock! HIGHLY recommend.
