I gave it a 4 cuz it has room for improvement. It's a decent theater. Has the recliner chairs. Good audio. The picture is good to. I went last night with friends from work. We had a issue with the picture where it froze a bit before the movie. Did it a couple times but it didn't happen afterwards during the movie. They got games that u play through the noovie app. I just wished they had a dine n wait bar inside. If u missed the time window and have for the next one. It can be so boring just sitting on a metal bench. You would have to leave the building to find one. There should be a lounge on the side, for people to chill while they wait. Could make more money with that. Good spit to hide from the rain to or u feel like drinking and talk about the ending of the movie with other people read more

My 16 year old daughter went there with her friends tonight. They purchased tickets online, bought food and drinks, and then were told they could not see the PG-13 movie unless they were accompanied by an adult. It does not say this policy anywhere on their website. The manager hung up on me 3 times while I was trying to get the girls refunded for the concession items. It will take 7 business days to get the money back for the tickets and I will try to talk with a mature adult in the morning to get refunded for the $50 popcorn and drinks that they purchased to see a movie that they could not see. read more

Well dang. This was my absolute favorite movie theater!!!!!!!!!!!! We just went today and discovered that AMC bought it. They will screw it up like they did the theaters back in Indiana where we moved from. This theater had a great restaurant and bar. Now it is empty. They said that since GQT owned the restaurant, AMC doesn't know what to do with the space. I think they should lease it out to a restaurant operator. It's so nice to be able to go out and have one stop for a date. AMC, if you are reading this DO NOT SCREW UP THIS THEATER!!!!!!! read more

It's not the fanciest, but I love this place. Prices are reasonable for tickets. My family got great chairs (no repair needed) and sound and screen were just fine. Lots of people I saw complaints here, the only think I can say is there was 1 operating butter station. All else were down, but still worked fine!!! read more

Honestly a year or two ago this would have been a 5 star review. The food was great- Seats were super comfortable and clean. So what's changed? The last few times we came here the screens at the concession were so hard to read. There was a very bright blue hue over everything making it difficult to order or make out prices and options. My wife and I came with some friends on a double date and everyone ordered food and drinks. The staff member completely forgot about a cinnamon pretzel my wife had ordered and when we asked for him to check on it he pulled out a completely burnt smoky pretzel and we had to wait for a new one. Mind you we are now missing part of the movie as the service was already terribly slow. Aside from a pizza I had ordered two White Castle burgers. They forgot to make this as well adding additional time. Upon mentioning it the staff member pulled it out from their fridge/freezer threw in the microwave then handed me two warm soggy burgers. Movie theaters make their money from selling food and drinks, guess they don't want our money. Lastly the seats are in terrible condition. See photo. You would think during the year they closed down they would have used that opportunity to service the establishment and do general maintenance. read more

Pretty good experience. Enjoy that every seat is reclining with a foot rest, even in their smaller theatre rooms, and even with their normal priced tickets!! That's a winner for me as when I've gone to AMC, the equivalent in room size and price has no reclining seats. The regular digital ($12.50 for a Wednesday night seat) is pretty decent and their Xtreme theatre room really hype up the experience. The spacing between the rows seem to be wider, which is great. The restrooms are typically pretty clean. They offer a loyalty rewards program for free, which I've attached a picture of. You can order reserved tickets online, however they do charge a $1.50 convenience fee per ticket...which bites, but is still cheaper than AMC. Hoping that the loyalty program helps with that fee in the future, but as of now it does not. They are currently having a $8 Tuesday night movie promotion which is cool. I enjoy this theatre better than others in the area. read more

Definitely a neighborhood theater... We were coming here. We always enjoy the food drinks and movies.

Video and sound of movie was great. But what a dump. Place was disgusting. Floors In the hallways had so much popcorn on them you thought it was the pattern of the carpet. The seats were sticky and had giant rips in them. Not even going to say what the bathroom looked like. Just glad we made it out of there without bed bugs. read more

Cleanliness, big screens, reclining seats, alcohol service...what else could you possibly ask for?! Brand new facility, they just opened up in Nov 2016 and it's cleary thriving. Very spacious all around, especially the individual reclining seats! Power operated with the push of a button and you can recline as far back as you like all while having your feet up. There's plenty of space in between each row so you don't have to feel like your invading others space like an airplane. We sat in row C and I felt like this was the perfect middle section. The A/C temp was just right, not too cold like typical theaters. Me and my boyfriend were here to watch Beauty and the Beast. Such HD quality! For snacks, we got Raisinets and Barefoot Moscato. i like the fact that they sell adult beverages in the concession stands here, they're chilled, and you can get them in a 4-pack! Having chocolate and wine made the movie experience a whole lot better. i think this is the comfiest movie theatre in the Brandon/Tampa area...my favorite so far, I would pick to come here over Regency 20 any day! read more

The theater was conveniently located. The food items are priced as to be expected at a movie theater. The seats were very comfortable, they were red leather reclining seats. It was a nice viewing experience. Went to see the new fast and the furious spin off movie. There were enough exit doors to make me feel comfortable. I would recommend this theater. read more

We had a birthday party there. The movie THOR was awesome!! We were a bit disappointed because no one from the theater came and checked on us one time. Not even once!! We even had to go get our own trash can, which we could have just thrown everything on the floor but that would have been super crappy. This theater has been extremely dirty and nasty the last 3 movies we seen there. It use to be a very nice and clean movie theater but now it's gone down hill. The bathrooms are gross, the lobby is filthy and they encourage you not to buy hot food because it takes to long to make. So very sad to see this place go down hill. read more

This place is definitely the place to go for movies!! Not sure if I will go anywhere else after the experience here. Obviously with a nice new theater you get the obvious perks of very clean and fresh feeling venue, and some of the newest features, decor, and overall setup you won't get at older spots. Added bonus they do sell adult beverages to enjoy with the show. Prices are very fair especially considering it's brand new. Without a doubt this is our new spot to enjoy movies. Now for the theater room review itself. Well I don't know the differences between the "normal" rooms and the "Xtreme experience" rooms, so I will just be speaking on the Xtreme room. It has ruined watching movies anywhere else for me. Absolutely mind blowing experience in there. Amazing surround sound. Bass that made you feel like your were in the movie itself. Spectacular 4k picture. Enormous 70 ft screen. Plush Leather seats that recline ALL THE WAY BACK with the foot rest that comes up. Amazing place to enjoy a movie, especially if an action film. We watched "the Great Wall" and wow can't even begin to explain how great it was to watch the movie in that special Xtreme room. And I believe it was only 1$ more for that room. WELL WORTH THE 1$. If you are sitting there trying to figure out which one of the 3 close local theaters to go to, let me help make that decision easier. Go here! And if going to see an action film of sorts then you will be greatly missing out if you don't spend the extra $ for the Xtreme room. read more

Totally added the last star couldn't have asked for a better first movie at this riverview location. In 3D gotta love Fantastic Beasts if your a J.K. Rowling fan. Typical theater with a little more than the average concession stand. Theater was clean and seats comfortable. Good location away from the more congested areas of town. Only criticism is that some of the seats did looks like they were old and worn and need of recovering. Pictures in other reviews are not wrong. Also bring a jacket or a blankets they had the AC kicking! Theater was full and we still froze. read more

XScape is a great theater. Parking space is prevalent and the food choices were reasonable. Of course, the food is overpriced like every other movie theater. The popcorn is delicious!!! I like that we can buy or tickets ahead of time and scan it via a barcode sent by email. My friend and I went last night (Saturday) and it was crowded and somewhat difficult to walk around. The actual theater for the movie to be seen was clean and spacious. The leather chairs are reclinable which was great for our comfort! The price was $10 which was very reasonable! First, let's get the bad out of the way. We saw "Why Him" tonight (our first trip to this new theater) and the sound was so low, I had to strain to hear at times. The concession stand was a disaster. Our cashier was working with 3 girls in front of us and had to keep getting a manager, the entire line was moaning...20 minutes they worked whatever issue there was. then, I ordered a hot dog and was told to wait in the crowd at the end of the stand....no number being called out, and alot of people had been waiting a LONG time for their food. Ok...for the GOOD!!!! The picture quality and screen size was the best I have ever encountered since old school IMAX. Though the sound was lower, it was full surround when louder. Then there's the seats....those GLORIOUS reclining seats...genius and it felt like being in my living room with a bunch of friends. It's great if a wife wants to drag her hubby to a boring chick flick...he can easily nod off, but still be in his wife's company. hahaha. Overall...I loved this theater watching experience and going back to see Rogue 1 in the Xtreme 3D theater!!!! read more

I went there with my 18 year old brother and I'm a 13 year old boy I got the ticket got some popcorn and drink and went to get in the movie and then the guys told us that i couldn't go in because I was underage and after 9 you need to be with an adult and me and my brother totally disappointed went to get a refund and apparently the reason for that is because some teenagers made some "bad choices" and yea I recomend this theater but the whole point of this review is for everyone that is planning to go and is under age to not go after 9 without an adult. read more

Pretty cool theater, we went to see The Hitman Bodyguard. My friend told me all about this theater with reclining seats but I didn't realize they would reclined so far back-it was pretty cool. The surround sound system in the theater was nice, of course we reserved seating directly in the middle of the theater-which made it an even more awesome experience. Favorite movie theatre in Tampa so far, I love the large recliner seats! They are so comfortable you have to be careful not to fall asleep. Facilities were clean and snacks were not too outrageously priced. We got candy, drinks, and popcorn for $20, pretty standard. read more

UPDATE: I'm happy to report they have better food options than when they first opened. That includes mozzarella sticks, churros, cotton candy and other goodies. Honestly, I never want to go to any other theater. It's been almost a year and the staff is still phenomenal, the theater and seats are always clean and spacious, it's a real treat coming here. Keep up the good work guys I have to admit, I'm impressed with the theater. I loved the comfortable seats, and that EVERY staff member I encountered displayed excellent customer service. Each person seemed knowledgeable when I asked questions on how things worked. They were very patient in explaining things and pointing out exactly where I needed to be. I deducted a star because the food is truly no comparison to the AMC Theatre. I ordered chicken tenders which they happened to be out of and offered me nuggets instead which was fine until I tasted them. No bueno, I'm not sure that was chicken but whatever it was it was an over processed mess. I would suggest adding mozzarella sticks to the menu. All and all I was happy but for future trips I'll make sure to eat before I arrive. read more

Wow! Clean and way above average. Concessions are open. Theater was very clean! We were required to reserve our seats to ensure proper social distancing. It was nice for us that there was not many people; however, I don't imagine it was good for the theater. I highly recommend this theater. Went on National Cinema Day for a $3 movie. Worst theatre experience ever. We were interrupted about 10 times by incredibly rude people, mostly teenagers, who kept running in and out of the theatre and yelling and waving their lit up cell phones. Everyone was pissed. Theatre staff was nowhere to be seen. Management did not seem to care. Will never be visiting this place again. Not even worth a $3 ticket. read more

Nothing really spectacular about it. The building looks like a theme park, but that energy is not inside of the building. The workers just do their jobs and we just watch our movies. But the seats are so comfortable and the theater seemed to be pretty clean. read more

We live close to both Xscape and Riverview theaters. The lobby is more spacious at Riverview 14. The recliners at Xscape seem a little larger and softer. Both are good places to catch a flick. The edge goes to Riverview because of their gastropub. Dinner and movie all in one place at Riverview. read more
