The leagues are sometimes on the pricey side but I can honestly say it's worth every penny. The facilities are pretty great, they coordinate nice deals with different bars/restaurants and the coordinators care a lot for all the players in their leagues. Fanny especially was also so helpful and put so much work into making the leagues run smoothly and ensuring everyone had a great time playing. She grew the volleyball 2s league I was playing in by so much and I'll miss seeing her and all the people I met in the Sunday league at Decoy. All the love for these guys!

Fast forward to now, when I renewed my ClassPass for a month trial, RYDE was the very first class I booked because it was my favorite. I've tried other cycling establishments, but RYDE reigns superior. The studio is clean and modern. And the bathrooms are equipped with everything a girl will need, and they have Aesop soap! That's all that I need to say. I am a regular rock climber, but once I phase out of that, I can definitely see myself being a RYDE regular. The classes are high-energy, and the instructors are fantastic at keeping you motivated. I thoroughly enjoyed my classes with Gustavo and Leon. If you are on the fence about giving cycling here a chance, please do yourself a favor and try it out. It is like a party, but you're putting your energy into biking. I'm not sure when I will be back because I currently cannot justify paying almost $300 a month for a membership, but I look forward to my next visit to RYDE!

Tryout and registration was easy as Coach Deborah was sure to fully explain the expectations of the season. All-star cheer is a true commitment! Over the recent season, I always reflect the initial conversation for direction on "what to expect." The highlight of the season for myself and my daughter, other than wins, was the constant encouragement from the coaches and the "push" for the athletics to reach their full potential. These coaches are true masters of their trade - there is so much passion and dedication behind all the coaches at the gym. The experience for my daughter offered so much more than cheer. Besides, lifetime bonds and friendships through the teambuilding and activities offered by the gym she acquired a wonderful bond and mentor in one of the coaches, Kelsey. The gym became her safe haven and stress reliever. While working with her coaches she was also able to "level up" and surpass mental blocks. I can't thank or recommend this gym enough.

I normally do my jog at Rice solo, but with a group of 80 or so runners helping set the pace (different paces: sprinters, joggers, walkers), I was highly motivated to move faster, do less stops and refrain from any detours at the Farmer's Market for some yummy goods. Dave does a wonderful job making the sign in table a breeze. It's FREE, so all you need to do is show up (first timers sign a onetime waiver; repeats have to check in each time) and you're good to go. Make sure you're there on time, because the run starts at 6pm sharp. (You might catch a few late comers sprinting across the parking lot to catch up.) Awaiting you at Brian O'Neill's after the run is a FREE energy filled buffet of pasta and salad, along with water. There's also FREE Red Bull Energy bevs before your run, and Skinny Dip beer. After your 10th run, you get an awesome Brian O'Neill's Social Running Club tee which guarantees you 10% discounts at Fleet Feet! I haven't lived in Texas long and I don't live close to this park, but any chance we get, we go here. It's more than a city park with a nice mixture of trails and recreational spaces. It's a great park to walk, run, cycle, or simply stroll. Sometimes we go for a stroll in the evening after we've been to a nearby restaurant. There are places to sit and people watch if that's your thing. There are also lots of nature trails as well. And there is no shortage of restrooms, which is a plus for a park this size.

I visited for a corporate 5k race where my company participated along with many, many more companies and runners. It was a great location for an event like that with the majority of the route being flat. There were a decent amount of parking lots along with shuttles to take us to the event. I would highly recommend participating in races here. I was very grateful that the Memorial Park Fitness Center let me use the showers for free after the race. However, the facility is badly neglected and badly needs upkeep. I felt like I was going to get all kinds of infections by being in there.
