From retreats to Lutherhill, Snow boarding trips to Angel Fire, installing conduit with pastor Mike after school while exspanding the church and the deep life conversations we had as I went through a difficult time in my life(teenage drug and alcohol use) I completed my confirmation here as well. I still speak to some of my the fellow youths to this day ( I am 36 now). I have not been back to visit in about 12 years ( Iv'e been stationed in Coronado CA, Little Creek VA) but as my children grow I have always used Living Word as the standard I look for in terms of their youth program and excepting congregation. The youth programs were 2nd to none. Us teens could come to the church and hang out in the youth room at ANY time, and I mean ANY TIME! . We would call Pastor Mike on a friday after school or Saturday at 7pm so a group of us could just hang out and eat food and watch movies until 10 or 11 at night. We looked forward to Wednesday confirmation class, Saturday night music worship service and we all would hang out after the 11Am Sunday service. Pastor Mike operated with us (high school youth) knowing if we were at the church we werent out making the mistakes many other teenagers were making, we were safe and in a type of enviorment that can only help us. If Living Word is anything like it was when I attended then you will not find a better House of the Lord to raise a young family in.

You save if you book more than 4 hrs.I would probably book an extra 30 mins for setup and takedown. Gives you a chance to figure out new equipment and get your bearings before you start jamming. Only minor downsides: Lounge and store was closed when I went in on a Saturday morning. That's ok I snacked ahead of time, but I wanted some merch to support. I'd recommend maybe putting up "exit/entry only" signs on the parking lot gates. When leaving, I sat waiting for the gate to open, but then I just reversed my car and went to the other gate. LOVE this dance studio - I attend their Latin social class every week - sometimes I drag my…read moreboyfriend along, but most times I go solo - the instructors have us rotate partners, so I always have the opportunity to practice with a partner! The cost for a drop-in is $25, so it's also pretty reasonable pricing/very competitive with other dance class locations. I also really like how they do the schedule for the Latin social dance class - each month, they pick a genre (i.e. salsa, bachata, cha cha, etc.) and week 1 of the month is a super introductory level to the new genre, then week 2 builds on what you learned week 1, and so on - so it's always new every week, but not overwhelmingly new! I've also been to their two-stepping class and enjoyed it, but it's on Fridays and I usually have other plans haha - they also do occasional special events like a monthly social (which is free) and a seasonal showcase (which is coming up and is only $30 for a class, dinner, and a show!) I've experienced two instructors and they're both amazing! There's also a third instructor who occasionally steps in as a partner if an extra leader is needed for the Latin social class and he's very easy to dance with, so I imagine he's a good instructor, too!

She developed a beautiful father - daughter dance for our daughter's wedding and has continued to expand the night club two step for us. We have also been learning TX two step. Trish and her husband Ken are clearly building a dance community. They offer numerous group classes and private lessons for various types of dancing styles. All instructors are personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Additionally, Trish and Ken frequently schedule dance events and potlucks that allow for and help provide interaction, sharing, and support. Even though dance does not come easy to my husband and I - we have a great time learning and trying out our new skills. We would highly recommend Just Danze!
