I searched Yelp to find emergency service. Fabian was the first to respond. He redirected me to where he had reviews. They were all favorable. He made contact with the tenant so that way he could come out immediately to address the heating issues. He arrived within 40 minutes from our initial call. He identified the problem. He stabilized the building with heat temporarily. He promised to follow up on repairs to resolve the situation completely. The next day, I received a call with an estimate for parts and labor by 10 AM. The owner decided that they wanted to use their plumber for the replacement part, but the I will call Fabian at anytime for his professionalism and quick response.

Foster Electric is GREAT!! My home is over 100 years old and needed to be hardwired for a security…read moresystem with three exterior cameras, and two video doorbells. I knew it wasn't going to be a quick and easy job. My primary concern was that the wiring wouldn't be visible, which would detract from my home's appearance. It was raining on the scheduled installation date, and I fully expected a call from Foster asking to reschedule. To my complete surprise, Nate and Joe showed up promptly on time, ready to tackle the task. The siding material on my house is thick, hard as a rock and pretty tough to drill through. It took a full day and a good part of the following morning. In the end, the job they did was BEAUTIFUL. Not a wire to be seen anywhere, and no mess left behind. Need electrical done? Forget the rest and hire the best. Call Foster Electric. I'm sure glad I did and will again.

This is a very good electrical supply store. Two things really make this place stand out: first,…read morethe staff is very helpful and not bothered by a small order, and two the store is available for retail customers. There are many electrical suppliers out there, but most only work wholesale with contractors ... which leaves us do-it-yourself/retail customers shut out. We can't buy 100 of each thing we need, and sometimes we need something special. I was fixing the piezo-electric starter on a stove unit, and easily found the problem ... a wire had pulled out of the disconnect. Now you can go to one of the big-box stores (Home Depot, Menards, Lowes) to find a disconnect, but they really cater to the middle of the road products, not the specialty stuff. I got some disconnects there, but they were too wide (see picture) ... I needed a mini-disconnect. After calling around to a number of places and finding they really only dealt with wholesale/contractor business, I found Helsel-Jepperson (HJ) out in Chicago Heights on Halsted. I brought my too-wide disconnect in and said I needed a narrower one - unlike the big-box stores that had only one size, HJ had two in stock that were narrower. So long story short, if you have an electrical part need and cannot find it at the big-box stores, HJ should be your next call. My part only cost 34 cents, but they didn't act like I was a bother. I bought ten so I don't have to return, and was really impressed with the staff and service. Highly recommended.

These guys were the subcontractor that CertaPro hired to do my kitchen cabinets. The first day they…read moredid the primer and said that they did two coats of Emerald (which is supposed to be a 4 hour minimum dry time between coats) which did not happen. They were trying to avoid coming back to paint the boxes again and just wanted to reinstall the doors/drawers when they returned. When they come back I had to point out all of the areas that weren't done at all or minimally covered by what they said was a second coat. So they had to fully repaint the box. That day they had the door fronts, they were packed 2 at a time. It appeared as though they weren't fully dried before being packed. Several doors needed to be touched up. They were scratched and chipped. Kinda defeats the purpose of having doors sprayed IMO. My husband and I decided to put the hinges back on and put the cabinets back together ourselves because they said they would have to come back to do it. The next day Eric came back to have me sign off on the work. We had a really long conversation about our experience and he shed light on the fact that they are really pressed for time when they sub for CertaPro and they do things differently when they are working for their own company. I fully understood and several weeks later decided to give them a shot again for 8 door fronts. I provided him with the materials and we talked about avoiding the issues that we had last time with the doors. When Eric dropped the door fronts off to me he said if you have any issues just let me know. We didn't unwrap the doors till we were ready for them which was weeks later. The doors were packed back to front. The hinge plugs left dents and scratches and the bumpers took off the paint completely. Why the doors weren't packed back to back or wrapped individually is beyond me. Total amatuer hour. I took videos and pictures and sent them along with 3 voice mails (on different days). Eric DOES NOT stand behind his work! To say that I'm shocked is an absolute understatement. I really thought he was a stand up guy, boy was I wrong. This kitchen project was expensive to say the least. Now I'm left with 4 damaged door fronts that I either have to fix on my own or pay more money for someone to fix Erics mistakes. Sorry, but I would NOT recommend. I've given him more than 3 days to respond and he hasn't.

I waited to write this review until I had used both the air conditioner and furnace for a little while. We researched and received quotes from a few companies and chose Thermo Tech Heating & Cooling for the job. The technicians who did the work were professional, courteous, and took the time to answer all our questions. They explained everything clearly so we knew what to expect during the installation. They installed the air conditioner first, followed by the furnace, which included a UV light and humidifier. The entire installation was done with precision and care--everything was neat, clean, and organized. They made sure everything was working perfectly and left the space spotless. You could tell they take real pride in their craftsmanship. The price was very fair for the level of service and quality provided. They even followed up after the installation to confirm everything was working properly and that we were satisfied with their service. Thermo Tech Heating & Cooling impressed us with their excellent workmanship, professionalism, and integrity throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Thermo Tech Heating & Cooling to anyone looking for top-quality HVAC work done right the first time! Jennifer K.
