I was able to book a last minute appointment at M Salon in Eastchester and they gave me EXACTLY the shoulder length cut and style I wanted in less than an hour with only a picture and a few words for direction. Very DISAPPOINTED in Salon Shige as my 3-year old son had a great haircut experience with the owner a few months back that prompted me to try them for my own hair. I've had my hair cut and styled almost exclusively in the past ten years by Japanese salons in NYC, so I really can't figure out why this one salon found my hair difficult to work with. Depending on who you get, just be very clear about the length you want. They're also conscientious about your street parking costs.
