When I wanted to surprise my husband by having his car detailed before his return from an international business trip, I initially made an appointment with a vendor near Tysons Mall. However, everything changed when David, the owner of Intersport Car Spa & Car Storage, called me back. His genuine enthusiasm and expertise convinced me to give them a try. As he explained, their location inside a Bentley dealership specializes in luxury vehicles, which spoke volumes about their service quality. David was exceptionally accommodating and kindly offered a discount upon request. Their McLean location proved convenient and impressive. Upon arrival, I was struck by their expansive, pristine facility housing numerous luxury vehicles - a testament to their reputation. The check-in process was remarkably efficient, with Manny and Abel providing warm, professional service. They immediately sent the invoice and contract via email, and just two hours later, Manny called to announce the car was ready. The results were stunning. My car emerged looking showroom-new (aside from my own decorations, aka dents/dings)! Abel's attention to detail on the interior was particularly impressive. Despite the pretty embarrassing condition the car was in- accumulated dust, dirt, water marks, spills, and pet hair - the transformation was complete. The car hadn't looked this pristine since purchase. I'm so glad I have them a try. The entire experience exceeded expectations - zero wait time, trustworthy staff, and flawless execution. I brought in a new Ferrari with pristine paint for a wash at Xotic. I requested a rinseless wash, but was told the car was "too dirty" and was instead given a "regal wash." What I got back was disappointing and unacceptable for any vehicle--let alone a Ferrari. The paint, which had no defects prior, now has visible swirl marks. There were water spots all over the car, a mark across the dash that wasn't there before, and the rubber gaskets around the doors--which were black--came back white. I have no idea what chemical was used on them. To top it off, the windshield still showed the outline of the wipers after they claimed to have cleaned the glass. This experience fell far short of any professional detailing standard. If you care about your car, you're likely better off going to Flagship or another reputable service that understands proper care--especially for high-end vehicles. read more

I would like to thank Eduardo at the Tyson's Corner F1 Auto Detail for doing an extremely thorough detail for me. I brought in a 2017 Chevy Cruze that was in bad need of a bath both inside and out. The car had never been detailed before, was very dirty, and smelled of smoke in the interior. Eduardo spend several hours detailing the car, making the paint shine like the day it came from the dealership. I got their elite wax and complete interior service, which is their premium package for SUV/Trucks. This service takes 6 hours but they completed it in 5 and they called me when they were done. I have had a bad experiences with a previous car detailer shop, so when I brought my jeep wrangler to F1 Auto Detail I wasn't expecting much. You can imagine how surprised I was when I went to pick up my car and it looked as brand new as I first bought it. Edward Rojas was the service tech that handled my car and he did a fantastic job. I called Dave from F1 Auto Detail in early August 2021, asking for a quote on a detailing job for three services: paint correction, window tint, and PPF. He quoted me a fair amount and also mentioned that he would give me the window tint for free as a bonus. When I dropped off my car, he said he would give me a $50 discount instead. I didn't say anything because I was expecting to pay full price anyway. I asked him how long it would take to complete these services, and he said it would take three days max. I said great, I am going on vacation for a week so you have plenty of time with it. While I was gone and F1 was working on my car, they sent one blurry video of what seemed like my car after a wash. When I returned, I texted him as planned saying I was ready to pick up my car. He replied after a few hours and said that it was not done and I would have to wait an additional two days at least. I was very upset with this but again, I didn't say anything. I go to pick up my car two days later, and discover that there is a large gash on the front of the hood/bumper, that was not there when I dropped off my car, and they had put PPF OVER the exposed metal of the gash in the hood. Problem #1: While they were working on the car, neither the owner nor the techs made any effort to contact me regarding the large gash in the hood, how it happened or why in gods name they would think putting PPF over it was a good idea Problem #2: I called several other detailing places, asking if they would put PPF over a gash like that under any circumstances, and the answer was a resounding "absolutely not". Problem #3: F1 Auto Detailing denied responsibility for the gash in the hood and tried to say it was like that when I dropped it off, when I had two witnesses AND pictures to prove that it was not there when I dropped it off. I expressed my disappointment and told them to fix it at their own expense, which really was the least they could do, after making me wait for my car only to find it damaged. They refused and said the only way they would fix it is if I pay extra. I had no choice, so I allowed them a second chance to make it right and fix it. After repairing Only the bumper (not the hood). they returned it to me and told me that I had to wait 30 days for them to re-apply the PPF to the front bumper. So we scheduled a date for me to drop it off. That date rolls up, and when I call to say I am ready to drop my car off, they said that they cannot do it, and I have to wait another two weeks. I asked to schedule a date and they said they would get back to me on that. I waited for two weeks, then asked them again, and they said they were booked. At this point I sked if they were refusing to repair my car, and Dave said he would get back to me. I still have not heard back from them to this day. Conclusion, after a huge amount of stress, money, time, and energy, I am left with a decent window tint, half a botched PPF job, and a large gash in my hood. Stay away from this detailing shop at all costs. This is a huge disappointment, and I will only do any detailing myself from now on, as I have completely lost trust in detailing shops as result of this experience. If anyone wishes to see pictures, texts, etc, I am able to prove this whole story in excruciating detail. read more

I have a white Mercedes Coupe, which I keep clean and shining. At least, I thought until I was referred to F1 Auto Detail. I purchase their ceramic and sealant with a streaming package. Wow, mind-blowing@@@@@. Even the infamous cicadas onslaught have been skipping off my front windshield without the mess. David and his team get a thumbs up and GJ (Great Job) from me. I am posting a review strictly on the customer service, because I wasn't able to get a detail done. And apparently because of my bad review on google I am banned from all his shops. Usually shops when they get a bad review they try to make it right, and the customer updates the review. But I guess because business is so good he doesn't need customers. I called Friday evening to schedule an appointment to get my interior steam cleaned. And I was told that a customer had cancelled at 11am, but because I couldn't make that I asked if he had anything available later. I told him I can make it at 12:30-1 and he told me to come at 1. Saturday morning I get a confirmation email for my appointment. And the email had the wrong job listed for my appointment. I sent him a text I. The morning and didn't get a response, so I called him around 10:30am to clarify what I wanted done. But to my surprise he said he had to cancel my appointment because another customer wanted their appointment back. And that he would call me back to squeeze me in that day. If you're going to squeeze someone in for a job, that to me sounds like you're going to rush the job. I told him no thank you. I was going to look for another shop. I posted a bad review on google and he got upset and sent me a text saying I was banned from all his stores in VA. As well as responding to my review lying that I was harassing them with text and phone calls. Apparently two text and a phone call to confirm my appointment is too many text and phone calls. Giving 2 stars because they tried to up sell me on their $200 "liquid glass" which is just a spray sealant, similar to what you can buy at autozone for under $20 I got a exterior wash and it was fairly quick and car came out clean. Price was fair for a wash, just don't appreciate the upselling sales tactic. read more
