Staff were the best we met in Prague, absolutely knew their game and the sommelier was top notch. Started with the prawn cocktail which was sensational, served in mini ice blocks with tomato & horseradish which was lovely. Had the rib-eye which was PHENOMENAL, beautifully aged beef and it was like butter. Sides we had the cauliflower cheese, potato gratin and the spinach- all beautiful If I'm Prague and looking for a fine dining experience then this place is a must

The beef was juicy and tender and oh so tasty. The rice was as beautiful but a little spicy for our tongue. The hubby downed the oysters in under 2 minutes-soo good. I ordered pureed potatoes thinking that they were mashed. Nope definitely pureed but still delicious. I was so impressed with the gorgeous side salad. So colorful, fresh and tasty.

The chef came out to greet the diners and they offered small tastings before and after the main course. The servers were so polite and nice. Hands down the best meal and service I had in Prague. They present well, but just not what you would expect from a high quality steakhouse. I ordered the pork with potato cakes, which actually just tasted like hasbrowns, and my bf got beef with fries. I feel like the way they cook their meat is different than the US but it isn't bad. It's just tougher/ over done. It was still really good and I enjoyed it. I also noticed that a lot of place that are open late the locals only come to drink and have small bites like French fries. It was a nice experience and this place was really close to our Airbnb. Definitely give this place a try if your out of town and have no idea where to go.

The owner of this place is so friendly and courteous. The restaurant offers a convenient English menu, and I highly recommend the rump steak. The place is small, so I am not sure how crazy crowded it can get. However, around 5-6 PM or so, it is rather empty and easy to find a seat. The steaks come with salad and vegetables. On the side, you can also order fries, potato cakes, etc. Again, the customer service is superb with a very friendly owner. The price is amazing too. For two rump steaks and sparkling waters, the price only comes out around $15 USD. You will not find this price anywhere in the US, not to mention that the steak quality is amazing. Enjoy!

New Kobe in Panska Pasaz at Ovocny Trh (previously there was Wine Food Market) is now my favourite…read morecomparing to Kobe on Vaclavske namesti or in Chodov shopping centre. Surprisingly, I like this one better because it's smaller and usually pretty empty and quiet (maybe also depends on time when I go there). Their sushi are always great starting with usual maki for 90 Kc and ending with some sophisticated combinations I cannot repeat with logically higher prices. They offer three types of soups, and all are good. I'm not really a meat-eater, so cannot judge their steaks. As for selection of drinks, non-alcoholic variety could be in my opinion more interesting. But they of course have a nice collection of tea. The waiters are quick and polite (which is still an important remark considering we are in the Czech Republic). And if you sit close to the window, you can watch a part of Ovocny Trh street.
