Our menu features a range of Japanese Fusion dishes." I am really delighted when I order from Inaka; in fact I just experienced a double delight. I ordered dinner last night and today took advantage of their lunch specials ( such great value). Last night, I wanted to try a different dish and was in the mood for chicken and rice. I ordered Inaka Chicken Guy-don which consists of tender sliced chicken sautéed with onions in a savory Japanese-style sauce, served over steamed rice and topped with a half egg, diced oshinko( pickled daikon), fresh scallions, and sesame seeds. It came with broth on the side, accolade of the broth was needed. The dish was scrumptious and the chicken had a delicious flavor. I ordered Rock Shrimp Tempura as an appetizer: delicious morsels of shrimp in a creamy sauce. Today's lunch was their fabulous Bento Box which includes choice of protein( chicken katsu, rock shrimp tempura or tofu), California Roll, miso soup, shumai (3 pc) and choice of rice. A delicious meal for under $15! I wanted to order the Chicken Katsu box, ordered it before and it is scrumptious, erroneously ordered Rock Shrimp Tempura. Not such a bad error, lol! The California Roll is consistently delicious. Their lunch specials also include sushi and roll combos. The menu (see pic) has a wealth of delicious options. All I can say is Arigato!

We got the three roll combo and mange beef fried rice, which both came with miso soup. Their miso soup was VERY flavorful! The pork gyoza were also very flavorful. 4-stars- I tried them for the first time as I was looking for a new Chinese take out restaurant…read moresince Grand Szechuan closed, which was on 5 Ave near 87 street. The menu and Yelp reviews looked good so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls, Kung Pao Shrimp, General Tao's Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai. I was told it would take 45 minutes to be delivered and it came in a few minutes under the time. All the dishes were good, portions were fair and there were good flavors of each dish. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because there was an issue with one of the dishes. I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp and we received Chicken instead. It would not have been a big deal but we already had two chicken dishes and wanted to have a shrimp dish. When we called they asked me if I wanted the $1 difference back. I said, no I wanted the shrimp dish. I told them I took out some of the food and put it on my plate not realizing it was not shrimp. I said that if this happened in a restaurant, they would just give us a new dish. My expectation was that they would apologize, send me the shrimp dish as quickly as possible as we were already eating. Instead, they had to check with the chef and the manager before agreeing to send me the shrimp dish. They asked me to give them back the chicken dish wish surprised me. What are they going to do the chicken dish?? They did send me the shrimp dish within about 30 minutes at no charge. Mistakes happen, and I was understanding. I wanted to help them improve their customer relations as most customers would not be back if they had to plead to get the dish replaced. I would still order from them and recommend them. I just hope they learn from their mistakes as I would like them to succeed. The food is very good and I would like to see them succeed. I will give them another try on the future and I hope everything is on point.

I chose rice noodles with the curry coconut soup and I was expecting a bouncy chewy texture but it was overcooked and soft. The broth was flavorful but didn't have much coconut taste. You know when a place has a limited menu they take care of all their foods. We ordered a pork bahn mi and a chicken bahn mi. An order of pirk dumplings and 2 drinks. Definitely get the lychee if you are unsure as that is what the worker recommended when i asked. The dumplings were small but yummy with their homemade sauce. I wish they were bigger but no other complaints. The bahn mi's were delicious i got the prok and the flavoring were juicy with their homemade sauce pickled carrots and cucumbers slices balancing it out. The bread was so crispy i throughly enjoyed. It's in a quieter area of Boro Park surrounded by residences and commercial warehouses and auto shops. Yet I wanted to try it for months. So we did try it especially as they have a lunch special everyday from 11am to 3pm which offers a starter of their house soup with all the fixings - spare rib, fresh chicken, mushrooms, a abalone as well. While not like most other restaurants which their house soup is left over bones and odds/ends with a heap loud of msg. Then 3 main dishes of your choice from their lunch special menu which has over 20 dishes for you. Plus a bowl of their white rice for each person. Even a simple bowl of white rice was amazing - it's a mix of different rices which presents very nicely - each grain stays individual, long, fluffy, and great texture. The main dishes do not disappoint- fresh, flavorful, well balanced, and with wok hay. We've now eaten there a handful of times for lunch and even with other friends/family - everyone agrees the food and preparation is excellent. Everyone says they would come back. Then if you take into account the lunch special deal for $30 this is an amazing meal that feeds your taste buds and stomach yet your wallet praises you. I have read some reviews giving 1 star with comments about long wait for dim sum, dim sum being average at best, and bad manager/servers etc. I have these observations to share - Dak Sing Palace has a small dim sum menu maybe a dozen or less items and they are not a dim sum restaurant so they likely don't produce dim sum fresh daily. Likely their dim sum is frozen and reheated. Thus the wait time and average dim sum. Bad manager/servers - this is not uncommon at Chinese restaurants it is almost expected to have to deal with this to some extent. My own experiences here every server does do their job maybe some without a smile but we have had excellent servers with a smile and small talk also. If you have any reservations about trying Dak Sing Palace due to how the appearance may seem, or reviews on the service, or dim sum then I say Just Go! And try using their lunch special for $30! You won't be disappointed.
